This thesis examines a significant way to enhancing and improving the term/phenomenon of performer training system in contemporary Korean theatre. To articulate the matters, this research engages in discussing and criticizing those problematic issues that we, as an instructor/trainer, have faced with through the last decades in the field of performer training and education. Specifically, we concern with the necessity of an applicable and appropriate educational/training system where each student-actor would discover his/her own adaptability by evaluating what a specific method and approach is. This atmosphere accurately provided by an instructor/trainer can also facilitate and enhance the young students' potential possibilities and/or talent, that is, as we argue a way to accomplish each performer's true nature. To achieve the goals, we underlie the necessity of establishing and/or settling performer training program/course by means of an alternative path. The research finding shows that within the atmosphere each student could share then interrogate what a possible or ideal way is according to his/her comprehensive understandings with clearer purpose: what kind of performers would you produce, train, and/or educate.

Two-way relaying is an effective way of improving system spectral efficiency by making use of physical layer network coding. However, energy efficiency in OFDM-based bidirectional relaying with asymmetric traffic requirement has not been investigated. In this study, we focused on subcarrier transmission mode selection, bit loading, and power allocation in a multicarrier single amplified-and-forward relay system. In this scheme, each subcarrier can operate in two transmission modes: one-way relaying and two-way relaying. The problem is formulated as a mixed integer programming problem. We adopt a structural approximation optimization method that first decouples the original problem into two suboptimal problems with fixed subcarrier subsets and then finds the optimal subcarrier assignment subsets. Although the suboptimal problems are nonconvex, the results obtained for a single-tone system are used to transform them to convex problems. To find the optimal subcarrier assignment subsets, an iterative algorithm based on subcarrier ranking and matching is developed. Simulation results show that the proposed method can improve system performance compared with conventional methods. Some interesting insights are also obtained via simulation.

In this past decade, industrial robot have substituted human workers successfully in certain areas, however, the applications are limited due to the shortcoming in their mechanism and control strategies. Many researchers, therefore, have focused on improving the mechanical and sensory capabilities. Developing mult-degree-of-freedom end effectors, in other words robot hands, is one of the topics that researchers have begun to improve the limitation. A set of direct drive type servo-pneumatic finger joint has been developed for a dexterous robot hand. To control the pneumatic finger joints, a prototype 4/3-way proportional control valve has been designed and tested as a preliminary, research for the control of the pneumatic finger joints. A series of experiments have been conducted to verify the performance characteristics of the valve and the conventional proportional error contral with minor-loop compensation has been used to control the anguar position of the finger joints.

Polysomonography, a way of diagnosing patients for Sleep Apnea, measures several kinds of bio-signal simultaneously. So it makes patients' behavior restricted and the examination more expensive. In this paper, presents another way of examining patients' ECGs, which are transferred to a computer system through a new wireless communication, Zigbee. This way of using Zigbee has solved restrictions of places and time for Polysomonography; and thus it is possible to reduce the cost, as well as improving patients' liberty.

This paper presents the test and operation results of the domestic demonstration of the reactive power compensation device called STATCOM (STATic COMpensator). The object of the paper is to describe the reliability of the unit based on the extensive operation databases. The custom power is similar in nature to the concept of FACTS(Flexibel AC Transmission System). By controlling reactive power, the technology offers utilities the opportunity for increased efficiency and their capabilities will permit transmission planners make the best use of their existing transmission resources. STATCOM is a custom power device in a way and can be used in a similar way for the dynamic compensation of power transmission systems, providing reactive power compensation, voltage regulation and mitigation of voltage flicker. It is shown that the STATCOM has clear advantages in areas such as; providing reactive power compensation and improving power factor.

In this paper, a new N-way hybrid power combiner for improving the graceful degradation performance has been proposed. The proposed combiner has been configured with two dummy transmission lines per each section, where each dummy transmission line has a different characteristic impedance, of the standard combiner. Under this proposed configuration, a detailed theoretical analysis has been performed to show the general function of a power combiner. When any M amplifiers among N identical amplifiers are suffering the failure mode in a power combining circuit or system, the graceful degradation performance has been improved due to the separation of a transmission line and an internal resistor in every failed section from the proposed combiner by simultaneously operating two shorting devices. Simulation results for all the items which can be measured from all the items which can be measured from the proposed combiner with an eight-way configuration have been presented.

Meanwhile, the governmental organization has been familiar with construction and method of one-way communication focused on public relation. As a result, it is true that there are few customers who have interest in, understand, and actively participate in public policy of the government.However, by propagation of smart phone terminal, public relation of government policy is diversified such as SNS, application manufacture, etc. It paved the way for actively increasing customers' comprehension of relevant information and participation as well. With that background in mind, this research tried to search pattern and feature of SNS strategy through domestic and American examples for improving trustof government policy and find common ground in order to seek for solution to help government office conduct a PR campaign more efficiently through SNS.

The necessity for improving the English listening ability of Korean learners has been emphasized since the ultimate goal of English education converted to CLT(Communicative Language Teaching) in Korea. Verbotonal Approach as an auditory-based strategy has been proved to be effective substantially in maximizing the listening skill of spoken foreign language. The purpose of this study is to find out an efficient way of improving listening ability for Korean middle school students by employing OFH(Optimal Frequency of Hearing) using Tonality Word Sentence Test, before & after using Listen II Verbotonal training unit based on VTS(Verbotonal System). The results of the listening tests showed that the listening ability of the subjects increased by 16.7% on the words and by 5.5% on the sentences after using Listen II, compared with before using Listen II and that the improvement rate of listening ability on the level of words is much higher than that on the level of sentences. From the results, we can come to a conclusion that training the listening skill with words in mid-tonality and low-tonality based on OFH might give a great positive effect in improving listening ability for Korean learners of English.

In this paper, a high-power 20-way stripline power divider with low insertion loss and low side lobe level is successfully designed, fabricated and measured as a feed network for an S-band linear array antenna having Dolph-Chebyshev current distribution which has a narrow beam width and very low side lobe level (SLL). The 20-way stripline power divider consists of an 8-way power divider, three 4-way power dividers and three ring hybrids. It utilizes a T-junction structure as a basic element for power dividing. Notches and modified input/output N-to-stripline transitions are used for improving insertion loss and return loss. The fabricated power divider shows insertion loss less than 0.3 ㏈ and rms phase mismatch less than 8o in the full bandwidth. A final 40-way power divider is synthesized by combining symmetrically two 20-way power dividers and is expected to have SLL over 40 dB, based on the measured results of the 20-way power divider.

The main object of this research was to study the better housing business by the Architectural Association of Chosun. The Architectural Association of Chosun was founded in 1992 and it influenced great deal on the development of Korean architecture. The Architectural Association of Chosun took the first step in business by holding the Better Housing Plan Competition which was the first housing plan competition in Korea, Also, it meant the enlightenment of better cultural housing. Overall, it can be summarized as follows; 1) It could be considered that the Architectural Association of Chosun was connected with the Japanese Colonial Policy of that time. 2) The Better Housing Plan Competition indicated the way of improving better living condition. 3) Most of the prize-wining works emphasized economical and practical way of housing. 4) The wanted to get out of the old conventional way of hosing. 5) All the plans showed \" the living\" and it meant that \" the living: is the centre of family life which connected the modern housing plan. 6) Western way of life was combined with the conventional style, in other words, modernization of life was derived from the western style. 7) Better housing plan which is more suitable for the Korean weather and environment was not considered. 8) Colonial domination of Japanese style could also be found in housing. Most of the plans used Japanese style as the basic housing style. housing style.
