파일슬래브구조가 적용된 고속철도 토공노반에서의 진동 전파 (Wave Propagation on a High-speed Railway Embankment Using a Pile-slab Structure)

  • 콘크리트궤도가 도입됨에 따라 토공노반에서의 잔류침하 억제가 중요한 사안으로 대두되고 있다. 파일슬래브구조는 침하억제공법으로서 슬래브는 성토하중을 분산하고 파일은 분산된 하중을 지지층까지 직접 전달시켜 충분히 지지력을 확보하여 침하를 방지한다. 철도노반에 적용시 하중전달특성은 매우 우수하지만, 주행하중에 대한 진동전달 및 상호작용에 대한 특성이 규명되지 않았다. 구조적 특성상 이동하는 열차하중에 의해 발생한 진동은 슬래브를 반사층으로 하여 상부성토체 내에서 다중반사되어 전파할 가능성이 있는데 이는 열차의 주행안정성과 승차감에 영향을 미칠 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 파일슬래브가 설치된 철도노반에서 열차 주행에 의해 발생되는 진동에너지의 전파특성을 평가하기 위하여 인공적인 충격하중과 고속열차의 실측하중을 사용하여 노반구조별 진동전파특성을 시간영역 및 주파수 영역에서 해석하였다. 검토 결과, 파일슬래브 구조에서의 진동 반사효과를 확인하였으며, 적정 성토고가 확보되는 경우에는 진동에 안정적이지만 성토고가 낮은 경우에는 저주파 영역의 진동에너지가 증가하는 것으로 나타났다.

  • Numerical computations are made to predict wave loads on a vertical cylinder in an extreme wave. To generate the extreme wave, a frequency-focused unidirectional wave is adopted in three-dimensional numerical wave tank. The mathematical formulation is wide in the scope of the potential theory with fully nonlinear free surface conditions. As a numerical method, finite element method based on variational principle is applied. Comparisons between the present numerical results and the previous computation data. show a good agreement.

  • We investigated a new longitudinal acceleration wave decomposition method in time domain. The proposed method separates up- and down-stream waves with an axial strain and axial acceleration measured at a single point on the transmission path. The advantages such as low computation load and easy implementation would be possible by developing time domain under the following assumptions; low frequency range, uniform cross sectional area and elastic wave propagation. We confirmed the feasibility and performance of the method through experiment using Split Hopkinson Pressure Bar (SHPB). The method can be effective in several applications, including active vibration control with wave view point, where real time wave decomposition is necessary.

Undertow를 고려한 해빈단면지형 변화에 관한 연구 (A Study on Beach Profile Change in the Consideration of Undertow)

  • A Numerical model is developed in order to predict cross-shore beach profile change. In this model it is assumed that sediment transport is generated by waves(bed load transport suspended load transport) and undertow which is defined as offshore directional steady flow in the surf zone. In addition wave tank experiments which reproduce storm-surge were performed. By comparing resulting profile of calculation with experiments, the applicability of this method is verified.

  • The most difficult problem encountered in the DC Chopper is the improvement in it's output waveforms and the commutation failure. Thus, this paper deals with the Load Insensitive DC Chopper that produces a quasi-pure square wave over the entire load range, and doesn't fail the commutation. The authors compared voltage and current waveforms from the laboratory model with those from the computer simulation, and it's characteristics is discussed.

  • 대체로 황천 운행 시 선체와 파도의 상대적인 운동에 의하여 발생하는 파랑충격하중을 고려하여 선수 구조부를 설계하고 있다. 선수 구조부의 파랑충격현상은 대단히 복잡한 현상을 나타내고 있고 정확하게 규명하기 어렵기 때문에 경험적인 설계에 의존하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 첫 단계로서 동적 비선형 범용 프로그램 LS/DYNA3D를 이용하여 선수 구조부의 손상 자료로부터 역으로 파랑충격하중을 추정하고, 파랑충격압력 곡선의 극치, 지속시간, 후부높이, 극치발생시간 등과 같은 특징에 대한 파라메트 연구를 수행하고자 한다. 본 연구를 통하여 파랑충격하중에 대한 구조물의 동적 거동은 주로 충격압력역적에 의하여 영향을 받고, 또한 구조물에 최대 변형이 발생하기 이전에 가하여진 충격압력역적이 거동에 매우 큰 영향을 미친다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

급경사 해저면에 대한 파랑의 반응특성 (The Characteristics of Waves on the Steep Sloping Sea Bottom)

  • This study discusses the interacting with deep water waves approaching from deep water based on the linear wave theory and steep sloping sea bottom floor by the numerical procedure. The results of particular interest are particle velocity and acceleration in x, y, z direction wave height amplification factor reflection coefficient and dimensionless pressure distribution on the steep sloping bottom with respect to the various incident wave angle. The wave loads relative to various bottom slopes, incident wave angles and wave periods on submerged breakwater and pipe are represented in comparison with mild sloping bottom the wave load parameters on the steep sloping bottom seemed to be influenced by variation of incident wave angle. In general the particle velocities and accelerations in x, y, z directions on the steep sloping bottom represented larger value or about two than those on the mild sloping bottom according to incident wave angle. However, the wave height amplification factors did not show distinct difference, but the slight variation with respect to the various incident angle showed on mild sloping bottom. The reflection coefficient increased with respect to increase of the incident angle on the steep sloping bottom the results also indicate that the very steep sloping beach produces a rather substantial amount of reflection as we expected. No significant variation of wave pressure was shown on the steep sloping bottom but it represented a certain amount of variation on the mild sloping bottom according to the various incident wave angle. The analysis at the OTEC site also showed similar results.

P92와 STS 316L강의 고온 피로 균열 성장에 미치는 하중 파형의 영향 (The Effect of Loading Waveform on the High Temperature Fatigue Crack Propagation in P92 and STS 316L Steel)

  • High temperature fatigue crack growth behavior of P92 and STS 316L steel were investigated under four load conditions using CT type specimens. Loading and unloading times for the low wave forms were combinations of 1 sec. and 50 sec., which were two symmetric wave forms and two unsymmetric wave forms. Their behaviors are characterized using ΔK parameter. In STS 316L, Crack growth rate generally increases as frequency decreases. However, sensitivity of the loading rate to crack growth rate was fecund to be far greater than that of the unloading time. It is because as loading time increases, creep occurs at crack tip causing the crack growth rate to increase. However creep does not occur at the crack tip even if the unloading time is increased. In P92 steel, crack growth rate showed same behavior as in STS 316L. But the increase in loading or unloading time made almost no difference in crack growth rate, suggesting that no significant creep occurs in P92 steel even though loading time increases. After conducting high temperature tensile tests and comparing high temperature fatigue crack growth rates under various wave forms, it was proved that P92 steel has not only good high temperature properties but also improved, better high temperature fatigue properties than STS 316L.

원자로 냉각계통의 POSRV 유동에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Flow of POSRV in Reactor Coolant System)

  • When a safety valve equipped in a nuclear power plant opens in an instant by an accident, a moving shock wave propagates downstream the valve, inducing a complicated unsteady flow field. The moving shock wave may exert severe load to the structure. So, to reduce the load acting on the wall of POSRV, a gradual opening of POSRV is adopted in general. In theses connections, a numerical work is performed to investigate the effect of valve opening time on the unsteady flow fields downstream of the valve. Compressible, two-dimensional Navier-Stokes equations are used with the finite volume method. The obtained results show that sharp pressure rise through moving shock tor the case of instant opening is attenuated by employing the gradual opening of valve. It is turned that the flows for the two cases of gradual valve opening time show the similar to that of highly under-expanded one in jet structure having expansion and compression waves and Mach stem. Also, comparing with the results for the two cases of opening time, the shorter the valve opening is, the pressure gradient at the downstream of the valve becomes softly.

  • 부유식 진자형 파력발전 장치의 실해역 설치를 위한 예인 시 예상항로의 조류 및 풍속, 유의 파고 등의 모든 환경자료를 수집 및 분류 분석하여 위험구간에 대해 검토하였다. 이를 위하여 기상청 및 국립 해양조사원의 자료들을 수집하였으며 이들 분류 검토된 자료들을 토대로 구조물에 작용하는 외력에 대해 계산하였다. 또한 ANSYS를 이용하여 복합 환경하중이 작용할 때의 FEM 해석에 기초한 상기 부유식 진자형 파력발전 장치의 안전 여부를 확인하였다.
