스러스트 단층대에서의 대단면 수로터널 낙반 및 보강 사례 (A Case Study of Collapse and Reinforcement for Large Span Waterway Tunnel at Thrust Fault Zone)

  • 대단면 터널의 안전한 시공을 달성하기 위해서는 굴착암반의 공학적 특성 및 단층 등과 같은 구조지질적인 특성에 대한 파악이 무엇보다 중요하다. 본 현장은 운모 편암내에 대규모 스러스트 단층이 존재하고 있어, 대단면 터널 굴착시 터널의 안정성에 매우 심각한 영향을 미치는 지질공학적 리스크가 특히 큰 현장이라고 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 스러스트 단층의 구조지질적 분포 특성 및 단층암의 공학적 특성에 대한 지반조사결과를 바탕으로 터널낙반의 원인과 메카니즘을 분석하고, 이를 바탕으로 대단면 터널의 안전한 재시공을 위한 합리적인 보강대책을 수립하였다.

경기만내 담수 유입으로 인한 시·공간적인 염분변화에 대한 연구 (Study on the Temporal and Spatial Variations of Salinity by Freshwater Discharge in Gyeonggi Bay)

  • To investigate temporal and spatial variations of hydrodynamics and environmental conditions in Gyeonggi Bay, including Han River estuary, numerical experiments were performed using 3-dimensional fine grid numerical ocean model. The model successfully reproduced the physical phenomena already known in Gyeonggi Bay where tide and fresh water discharge are dominant forcings. The calculated harmonic constants of tide and tidal current agreed well with those of observations at nine tide stations and two tidal current stations. Tidal asymmetries along the Yeomha Waterway, mainly caused by non-linear effect, were well reproduced and agreed well with observations. Time series of salinity at four stations(A, B, C and D) and horizontal distributions of monthly averaged salinity show that Gyodong and Seokmo Waterways play an important role in fresh water discharge into the Gyeonggi Bay rather than Yeomha Waterway.

  • 최근 우리나라 연안해역은 선박교통량의 증가로 인해 해상교통이 폭주하고 있다. 이러한 교통폭주는 연안해역에 대해 인명, 재산, 환경오염 등의 심각한 해양사고를 야기할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 우리나라 연안의 해양사고를 확률적으로 분석한다. 본 연구의 수행을 위해 해상교통량과 기상조건, 해양사고 등의 다양한 연관성을 기반으로 원인을 분석하였다. 그리고 해양사고의 형태를 선박의 크기, 선령, 선종 등 다양한 관점에서 분류하고 세부적으로 분석하였다.

  • 시계 불량시 교량하 항로를 교각과 충돌없이 안전하게 통항하기 위하여 충분히 떨어진 곳에서 레이더로 교각을 탐지하는 것이 매우 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 이론 검토 및 레이더 실험을 통하여 교각인식을 위하여 필요한 교각 돌출량을 도출하였다. 교량하 항로를 통과하는 최대선박의 전장과 통항조건별로 필요치를 제시함으로써 교량 설계시 그 해역의 교통 환경에 적합한 교각방호시설의 설계가 가능하도록 하였다.

조계산 선암사의 수경관에서 나타나는 외래적 형식에 관한 연구 (A Study exotic formation appearing in the Waterscape of the Sunam Temple at Mt. Chokye)

  • This study was carried out to investigate and analyze the waterscape of the Sunam Temple on Mt. Chokye over which controversies had been actively raised, especialy of its Japanese impacts, comparing the phenomena arising from it with those of Korean and Japanese traditional temples. And then the identity of the Sunam Temple was clarified in itself. It is concentrated on what exotic formation are found in waterscapes of the Sunam Temple and how they can be proved via what factors. The obtained results were as follows : 1. Two curved ponds located in the western part of the Iljumun gate have a specific features not visible in any other Korean traditional temples, serving as an object of interest. Such ponds with curved form in the Sunam Temple had an affinity to those of stroll-style garden in Kyoto area. 2. The winding waterway along with curved ponds in the west of the Iljumun gate was introduced into the Sunam Temple. Therby, it was an exceptional phenoma hardely found in the traditional temples of Korea. This study was a typical one, as found in the stroll Japanese temples. Especially, the swinding waterway found in both the Kinkakuji Temple and the Ginkakuji Temple designated as object temples of comparison in the present study.

  • 항만을 출입항하는 선박의 통항 안전을 확보하기 위해서는 방파제와 같은 항만 시설물의 설계 또는 배치시에는 우선적으로 선박의 조종 성능을 감안하여 교통 흐름이 원활하도록 적정한 항로를 지정하여야 한다. 이 연구에서는 부산항 및 감천항 입항을 위해 방파제 인접 항로에서 일정 침로로 접근하는 컨테이너 선박이 외력인 바람, 조류, 파랑에 의해 선체에 발생하는 횡압류 및 회두 현상을 정량적으로 분석하여, 선속에 따라 외력을 상쇄하기 위해 취해야 할 대응타각을 산출한다. 또한 향후 방파제 설계 및 배치시 고려해야 될 외력하의 선박의 조종 성능 요소를 제안함과 동시에 방파제의 설계와 항로 배치와의 관계에 대하여 고찰한다.

A Study on Proposed New Consideration Factors in Channel Design Process

  • There are certain guidelines on the channel design such as domestic guidelines(Korean and japanese, etc.)and international guideline known as PIANC Rules(Permanent International Association of Navigation Congresses Rules), in the world These rules have considered many factors such as natural conditions, ship maneuverability and geographical features etc. But it is contented toot the area of these rules toot are meant to facilitate the ease of ship-handling is insufficient. To satisfy this point in design process, it is necessary to take into account the difficulties encountered in ship-handling within these inland waterways. Because many vessels are navigating at the same time within these waterways, the specific navigable traffic volume should be considered with regard to the standard process of route designing. It must also be considered with regard to the volume of navigable traffic bemuse of ship-handling difficulty toot arises within the same waterway with varying amounts of traffic volume because toot ship-handling/manueverability is directly influenced by these factors. This paper aims to propose a new approach to the design of standard inland water route considering the traffic volume and the shape of waterway. Also consider the relationship among these factors may affect to the ship-handling difficulties.

  • Recently, localized heavy rain due to "EL-LIO" was a kind of reason by risk of slope stability. In this paper, the behaviour of slope when localized heavy rain was studied. In order to perform this study experimental programs were performed. Experimental programs was checked filtering conditions for slope stability due to localized heavy rain. And then, investigated slope stability and fracture mechanism each other types. In the experimental study, performed changing filtering condition by embankment, through five fixing factors such as rainfall intensity, slope shape, geological condition, compaction energy and water content. According to the results of this study, behaviour of facture slope has made a shallow and narrow waterway. This waterway expanded base stone. In order to, suggested a system for slope stability examination.

일제강점기 도시기반시설의 설치를 통해 본 강경의 도시화 과정 (Modern Urbanization Process of Ganggyeong during the Japanese Colonial Period, focused on Installation of Urban Infrastructure)

  • Ganggyeong, a city which is located at riverside of Geum River, played a role to connect the inland cities and the coastal cities through the Geum river waterway. In Chosun dynasty, Ganggyeong was one of the three major markets in Korea, and at the same time, it was one of the two river docks in Korea. However, after the railway was installed in Korea, railroad was more important than waterway in transporting logistics and in 1911 Honam railroad and Ganggyeong railway station was installed. Thus it was necessary to reorganize urban structure of Ganggyeong city from the traditional river-dock city to modern railroad city. In addition, urban infrastructure to prevent flood damage was needed because Ganggyeong suffered from floods and water shortages every year. Therefore, between 1910s and 1930s large-scale social infrastructures including road, water and sewage system, river bank, floodgate was constructed not only to revitalize the declining city but also to prevent flood damage and water shortages that hinder urban development. The installation of urban infrastructure has enabled the urban expansion and development of Ganggyeong city, and it is still served as a basic urban structure.
