Polyurethane 첨가에 의한 HAC/PVA계 MDF 시멘트 복합재료의 수분안정성 영향 (The Effects of Polyurethane Resin on the Water Stability of HAC/PVA Based MDF Cement Composites)

  • Mechanical properties and water stability of HAC/PVA based MDF cement composite were investigated using polyurethane(PU) resin, silane coupling agent and various PVA. The results were as follows ; The flexural strength of MDF cement composite increased as increasing with PVA content. Low-viscosity PVA developed higher flexural strength than high-viscosity PVA under a drying curing condition. But the strength of water immersed specimen decreased. Water stability of MDF cement improved as increasing with content of PU. Consequently, water stability of polyurethane 7% added MDF cement was about 2 times higher than that of the controlled specimen. Furthermore, the strength and water stability of diamine group based silane couling agent in using MDF cement increased and improved dramatically.

  • At present water crisis is not an issue of scarcity, but of access. There is a growing recognition of the need for increased access to clean water (drinkable, agricultural, industrial use). An encouraging number of innovative technologies, systems, components, processes are emerging for water-treatment, including new filtration and disinfectant technologies, and removal of organics from water. In the past decade many methods have been developed. The most important membrane-based water technologies include reverse osmosis (RO), ultrafiltration (UF), microfiltration (MF), and nanofiltration. Beside membrane based water-treatment processes, other techniques such as advanced oxidation process (AOP) have also been developed. Some unconventional water treatment technology such as magnetic treatment is also being developed.

  • The sihwa tidal power plant is the first tidal power plant in korea and the biggest of the world. The tidal power turbine is operated by tidal energy. The tidal energy is generated by the relative motion of the earth and celestial masses specially the sun and the moon, which interact via gravitational forces. The tidal power is estimated by the predicted the tidal amplitude and phase. This paper gives a process of estimate of tidal power using Matlab T-tide based on tide prediction. The proposed method is tested using actual recorded data comparing to predicted date.

Estimation of Water Balance based on Satelite Date in the Korean Peninsula

  • Quantifying water balance components is crucial to understanding the basic hydrology and hydrochemistry. An importance of water balace studies has been emphasized from the need to grasp the actual condition of water resources and environmental changes including climatic changes. This paper proposes a method for evaluating water balance components based on the vegetation monitor using remote sensing data. Here, the evapotranspiration model adopts a direct method by using NDVI(Normalized Difference Vegetation Index) calculated from NOAA/AVHRR data and a detailed descriptionof water balance by using the evapotranspiration over the Korean Peninsula. In the study, areal distribution data sets of water balance components are produced using NDVI and a simplified water balance model. This method enables one to discuss the hydrological problems for North Korea where insufficient meteorological and hydrological data exist. The results obtained indicate the specific regional features on water inventory and fluctuation in water balance.

무기물 금속염계 발수분체를 혼입한 시멘트 모르타르의 물리적 특성 및 수분흡수저항성에 대한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on Physical Properties and Water Absorption Resistance Evaluation of Cement Mortar Incorporating Inorganic Metal Salt-based Water Repellent Powder)

  • 본 연구에서는 금속염계 무기물인 발수분말과 포졸란계 재료인 천연제올라이트 분말을 사용하여 시멘트 모르타르에 혼입하고 물리적 특성 및 수분에 대한 저항성을 확인하였다. 무기물 금속염계 발수분말을 단독으로 혼입한 시험체에 비해서 천연제올라이트를 동시에 사용한 시험체에서 수분침투실험 및 그에 수반하는 염화물 침투시험에서 높은 저항성을 갖는 것을 확인 할 수 있었다. 금속염계 발수분말을 사용하는 경우 불용성으로 인하여 수분침투저항성이 내부에서 고르게 분산되지 못하고 표면에 국한되었으며 천연제올라이트와 동시에 사용하는 경우 포졸란 반응으로 인해 수화초기의 응결시간이 빠르고 또한 천연제올라이트의 다공성 내부에 발수분말이 부착되어 내부에서도 수분저항성이 일부 생성된 것으로 판단된다.

수로부 계측정보 기반 농업용 저수지의 관개용수 공급량 평가 (Evaluation of the Irrigation Water Supply of Agricultural Reservoir Based on Measurement Information from Irrigation Canal)

  • With the implementation of integrated water management policies, the need for information sharing with respect to agricultural water use has increased, necessitating the quantification of irrigation water supply using monitoring data. This study aims to estimate the irrigation water supply amount based on the relationship between the water level and irrigation canal discharge, and evaluate the reliability of monitoring data for irrigation water supply in terms of hydrology. We conducted a flow survey in a canal and reviewed the applicability of the rating curve based on the exponential and parabolic curves. We evaluated the reliability of the monitoring data using a reservoir water balance analysis and compared the calculated results of the supply quantity in terms of the reservoir water reduction rate. We secured 26 readings of measurement data by varying the water levels within 80% of the canal height through water level control. The exponential rating curve in the irrigation canal was found to be more suitable than the parabolic curve. The irrigation water supplied was less than 9.3-28% of the net irrigation water from 2017 to 2019. Analysis of the reservoir water balance by applying the irrigation water monitoring data revealed that the estimation of the irrigation water supply was reliable. The results of this study are expected to be used in establishing an evaluation process for quantifying the irrigation water supply by using measurement information from irrigation canals in agricultural reservoirs.

  • 인화점은 액체 혼합물의 화재와 폭발의 위험성을 특징짓는 주된 성질이다. 인화점은 가연성 액체에 불꽃이 가해졌을 때 점화가 발생하는 가장 낮은 온도로 정의된다. Seta flash 밀폐식 장치를 이용하여 이성분계 수용성 혼합물인 water-methanol계와 water-ethanol계의 인화점을 측정하였다. Wilson 식과 UNIQUAC 식과 같은 활동도 모델식을 활용한 방법을 이용하여 인화점을 계산하였다. 이 계산치와 라울의 법칙에 의한 계산치를 비교하였다. 그 결과, 활동도 계수 모델식에 의한 계산치가 라울의 법칙에 의한 계산치 보다 측정값에 보다 근접하였다.

워터 마킹 기술을 활용한 이미지 전자화폐에 관한 연구 (A Study on Image Electronic Money based on Watermarking Technique)

  • 본 논문에서는 이미지에 watermark를 삽입함으로써 이미지를 전자화폐로 활용할 수 있는 기술을 소개한다. 이미지에 콘텐츠ID를 부여하고 이 콘텐츠ID를 눈에 보이지 않도록 이미지에 삽입한다. 이미지 전자화폐(이후 WaterCash라 명명)를 발급하는 발급서버에서는 이 콘텐츠ID를 데이터베이스에 저장하고 전자화폐로써 관리한다. WaterCash는 익명성을 보장할 수 있고, 또한 WaterCash의 위ㆍ변조를 semi-fragile water-marking 기법을 기반으로 원천적으로 차단할 수 있다. 또한 양도가 가능하고, 워터마킹 기술을 기반으로 하기 때문에 WaterCash의 부정사용을 방지할 수 있다. 사용된 워터마킹 기술은 압축에는 강인하면서 다른 고의적, 비고의적 이미지 처리에는 연약하도록 설계되었다.

4족과 6족 보행을 하는 수면 주행 로봇의 안정성 실험 연구 (Experimental Study on Rolling Stability of Quadruped and Hexapedal Water Running Robots)

  • Water running animals such as basilisk lizards have an advantage of high-speed movement and high power efficiency on water; so researchers in robotic fields have been interested in the water running locomotion. This paper presents prototype-design and experimental study on the fourand six-legged water running robot. Based on the previously proposed quadruped water running robot, we assemble a hexapedal water running robot. The legs of the water running robot are designed based on four-bar parallel link for repeated motion along to pre-defined path. Stability performance of the quadruped and hexapedal water running robot are investigated by experiments on rolling criterion. As a result, hexapedal robot performs better stability than quadruped robot. Based on the hexapedal robot design, we are planning to optimize the position of legs and operating frequency.

  • Stable aqueous dispersion of magnetite colloid was obtained by allowing a fatty acid, such as nonanoic acid, decanoic acid and undecanoic acid, dissociated with NH4OH solution to adsorb on the monomolecular adsorption of oleate. To obtain a stable dispersion, added amounts of sodium oleate and nonanoic acid for magnetite 20g were more than 2.63$\times$10-2 mol and 0.04 mol respectively. In this colloid, good dispersions of magnetite which is sterically stabilized in aqueous system were achieved about pH 7.7. Water-based magnetic fluids using in this study were able to redisperse to water-based magnetic fluids by adding NH4OH solution to dried water-based magnetic fluid powders. Changing a magnetic fluid carrier such as kerosene was also attemped by adding kerosene to dried water-based magnetic fluid powders. In this study, we can obtain a kerosene-based magnetic fluids using drying process.
