Study on the Waterproofing Performance of FGD Gypsum Building Products from Inorganic-Organic Composite Additives

  • In this article, poly methyl triethoxy silane was compounded with an inorganic waterproof admixture at a certain ratio to improve the performance of gypsum products; a new type of high-efficiency compound water-proofing additive was also investigated. Furthermore, the waterproof mechanism and the various properties on the hardened gypsum plaster were investigated in detail by XRD and SEM. The results show that the intenerate coefficient of gypsum plaster increased to more than 0.9; the water absorbing rate decreased to less than 10 %. Both the bending strength and the compressive strength of gypsum plaster increased by various degrees. The intenerate coefficient reached a maximum value of 0.73 and the strength of the samples showed almost no change when 5% cement alone was added. In this new type of the high-efficiency compound with waterproof additive, the optimal technological parameters for formulas were obtained to be: 5% cement, 18 % mineral powder, and 0.8% poly methyl triethoxy silane, to compound gypsum plaster. Meanwhile, the production of high performance gypsum as a building material has become possible.

  • Asphalt waterproofing method has a long history over 80years since introduce to domestic market. This method has a good point as high water proofing not permeable to water by material performance of bitumen, In spite of high waterproofing, the application has become decreased. This asphalt method has some problem such as work safety, low workability by complicated work process, environmental problem in job site, it should be solve by complementary measures. 'Therefore, in this paper, suggest the principle of high pressure spray by heat cycle type equipment by analysis of exist problem and materials investigation. And. study and examine the spray type degeneration rubberized asphalt membrane materials to adopt job site. Moreover, suggest the evidence by inspection about waterproofing performance by Korean Industrial Standard through the performance test of the spray type degeneration rubberized asphalt membrane materials.

  • Ultra-fine fibers are spun by expensive fiber spinning technology using special spinnerets. Ultra-fine fibrous materials have attracted considerable attentions because of their potential applications as high performance wiping cloths, water absorbent sound proofing materials and moisture transfer sporting good. However, production expense of ultra-fine fibers is 5 to 7 times higher than general textile materials. The objective of this research is to develop cost-effective recycling process to produce multi-functional ultra-fine fibrous material in terms of the development of garnetting and carding machines for ultra-fine fibrous material waste and scrap. The efficiency of sound absorption for the recycled polyester nonwoven increased with decreasing length and thickness of component fibers, which was attributed to the reduction of air permeability.   • In this study, we conducted an impact assessment of the amount of volatile organic solvents addition on hybrid water-proofing system of urethane waterproof coating material and modified asphalt sheet. Also, we conducted a comparative assessment of whether modified asphalt sheet is dissolved or not and oil leakage by dissolution in order to perform a comparative analysis of characteristics of the impact on modified asphalt sheet according to the volatility of volatile organic solvents included in urethane waterproof coating material. The test was carried out by adding the same amount of organic solvents into each experimental group which is subject to volatility and non-volatility of organic solvents, respectively. The results of the test showed that in both experimental groups modified asphalt sheet was dissolved when adding over 10 percent of organic solvents regardless of volatility, and oil leakage observed only in the experimental group subject to volatility.

  • The purpose of this study was that manage effectively the excavation process of the transport tunnel in DONGHAE mine area by investigating the variationof the surface and groundwater flow system around the tunnel and neighbouring villages. Thus, the effect of excavation and water-prrofing process on the water system has been studied through the naked eye survey of the tunnel and the surface outcrop, joint survey, core drilling, the measurement of the surface water quantity, evapotranspiration and precipitation analysis, rock hydraulics approach, the pressure test of boreholes, the variation of the water level, and finally the numerical analysis. From above approachs, we derived the conclusion that the exhaustion of the surface water was not caused by the tunnel excavation on the groundwater system was minimized by effective water proofing process.

포스파젠 유도체에 의해 경화된 에폭시수지의 내수.내약품성 (Resistance to Chemicals and Water of Epoxy Resin Cured with Phosphazene Derivatives)

  • 1, 1-diamino-3, 3, 5, 5-tetrachlorocyclotriphosphazene, 1, 1-diami-no3, 3, 5, 5-tetra-(p-bromophenoxy)cyclotriphosphazene, and 1, 1-diamino-3, 3, 5, 5-tetra-(p-chlorophenoxy) cyclotri-phosphazene(ACPP) was prepared from hexachlorocyclotriphosphazene and used for the curing agent of bisphenol A type epoxy resin and phenol novolak. The resistance to chemicals and water of the cured epoxy resins were examined by DMTA and compared with those of the epoxy rosins cured with phosphazene derivatives and 4, 4'-diaminodiphenylmethane. The effect of the curing agent on resistance to chemicals and water of the cured epoxy resins were investigated. The epoxy resins cured with 1, 1-diamino-3, 3, 5, 5-tetrachlorocyclotriphosphazene and 1, 1- diamino-3, 3, 5, 5-tetra- (p-bromophenoxy)cyclotriphosphazene showed superior resistance to chemicals and water to those of 1, 1-diamino-3, 3, 5, 5-tetra- (p-chlorophenoxy)cyclotriphosphazene and 4, 4'-diaminodiphenylmethane. It is an effective curing agent for epoxy resins to enhance the resistance to chemicals, water and tome proofing.

  • Poor water-proofing integrity is related to many factors : site procedure, workmanship, weather. substrate conditions, installation(including asphalt application) conditions. The evaluation of adhesive properties tested by concrete surface moisture and asphalt application was based on laboratory test and observations. This report describes the pull-off test results of waterproofing systems currently used for installing and reparing for concrete bridge decks. The test results showed that the moisture condition fully affected the adhesive properties of sheet membranes and sealer but partially for liquid membranes.

  • This study is intended to develop the self water proof admixture for durability concrete by anti-corrosion inhibitor. Chloride induced corrosion of reinforcement is one of the main factor which cause the deterioration of concrete structure. When the substitute anti-corrosion agents for a part of self waterproofing agent, the corrosion-proof increases for the increased water proofing capacity. And proper self waterproofing agent by cement weight in concrete was generally positive effect to concrete compressive strength, slump, freezing and thawing resistance. Also, permeability and absorption show a straight decrease when self waterproofing agent is added.

  • 사회가 발전함에 따라 삶의 질에 대한 촉구는 나날이 증가하고 있다. 방수공사는 이러한 삶의 질과 직결되는 공종임에도 불구하고, 미연에 하자발생을 방지하기 위한 사전대책보다는 사후관리에 중점을 두고 있어 하자발생률이 높게 나타나고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 사전대책을 고려한 LCC 분석모델을 개발하고, 각 대안별 생애주기비용을 비교 분석함으로써 사전대책의 필요성을 살펴보고자 하였다. 선행연구 및 전문가 면담을 통해 하자의 발생을 줄일 수 있는 사전대책을 제시하였고, 이에 따른 각 대안별 비용항목의 민감도 분석을 통해 가장 경제성이 있는 최적안을 도출하였다. 사전대책을 실시하는 경우 초기투자비용이 추가 발생하지만 하자발생 후 전면 보수 시 발생하는 재투자비는 절감되므로, 궁극적으로 생애주기비용 측면에서 절감되는 것으로 분석되었다.

울산대공원 조경공사의 각 세부공정이 전체공정율에 미치는 영향분석 (An Analysis of Influences on Partial Work Rates under the Whole Work Rates on the Landscape Constructions in the Ulsan Grand Park)

  • This study analyses influences on partial work rates under whole work rates on landscape constructions in Ulsan Grand Park. The schedule management is one of the factors that are very important to the process management of landscape construction. The time process of the whole construction is supposed to be affected by several kinds of work that organize the whole construction. First, this study divides the construction of Ulsan Grand Park into 10 kinds of works: earth work, rain and sanitary sewage water work, water-supplying work, planting work, paving work, water proofing work, fountain work, instituting work and temporary work. Then the time-process curves of all kinds of work are statistically compared to that of the whole construction. The trial methods of statistics are lineal regression, non-lineal regression, and principal analysis. In the result of the non-lineal regression, the rain and sanitary sewage water work, the water-supplying work and the earth work strongly affected the whole construction. The principal analysis results show that the whole construction is affected strongly by the water-supplying work, the rain and sanitary sewage water work and the earth work. However the lineal regression is shown to be senseless because of its high collinearity.
