조건부가치측정법을 이용한 고래자원 보전의 대안으로서 고래관광 가치 추정 연구 (A Study on the Whale Watching as an Alternative for Conservation of the Cetaceans Using the Contingent Valuation Method)

  • The purpose of this study was to estimate the economic values of whale watching. The data used in this study were collected with 1,599 coastal tourists and the questionnaire included contingent valuation method questions. The results show that coastal tourists obtained the benefits of about KRW 15,970 from whale watching. Further analyses were conducted to check the differences of willingness to pay for whale watching based on the three variables as follows: previous experience of whale watching and participation intention in whale watching tourism, and previous experience of cruise trips. The results indicate that the respondents, who already participated or intended to participate in this type of tourism activity, were willing to pay higher than those, who did not participated or had no intention of participation, respectively. These results imply that whale watching could be a feasible alternative to the direct consumption of whale meat. Based on the study results, we provide policy and management-related implications for whale watching programs.

음악과 배우에 대한 평가가 뮤지컬 관람의도에 미치는 영향: 한국과 중국의 비교 (Effect of Music and Actor Evaluations on Musical Watching Intention: Comparison between Korea and China)

  • 본 연구에서는 뮤지컬의 음악과 배우에 대한 평가가 관람의도에 미치는 영향을 분석하기 위해 한국과 중국의 학부생과 대학원생 총 187명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문자의 성별, 전공, 예술관심도, 연간 뮤지컬 관람 횟수, 그리고 관람동기(음악 감상, 배우)를 통제한 결과 다음과 같은 결과를 발견했다. 첫째, 음악과 배우에 대한 높은 평가는 관람의도와 정(+)의 관계를 갖는다. 둘째, 음악 평가와 관람의도는 뮤지컬의 관람동기가 음악 감상인 경우 더욱 높아지나 관람동기가 배우 보기인 경우에는 그렇지 않았다. 셋째, 중국 응답자의 경우 뮤지컬 평가와 관람의도와의 관계에서 관람의도는 어떠한 상호작용효과도 일으키지 않았다. 결론적으로 배우를 보기 위해 뮤지컬을 관람하는 사람들보다 음악 감상을 위해 뮤지컬을 관람하는 사람들에게 있어서 뮤지컬 평가가 보다 직접적으로 관람의도를 유발한다는 것을 발견했다. 또한 한국과 상이한 공연 관람문화를 가진 중국에서는 관람동기가 갖는 이러한 차별적 조절효과가 존재하지 않는다는 것을 발견했다.

서울 일부 지역 청소년의 음식 콘텐츠 시청과 영양지수(NQ-A)와의 관련성 (Association between Food Content Watching and Nutrition Quotient in Adolescents (NQ-A) in Seoul)

  • In this study, we identified the differences in food content watching habits and nutrition quotient in adolescent (NQ-A). A total number of 811 subjects were surveyed to establish their general characteristics, food content watching habits, and NQ-A using a self-administered questionnaire. In addition, the mediating effect of watching motivation between the type of food content watched and the NQ-A score was determined. The classification by the type of the food content mainly watched showed that 405 participants (49.9%) watched the Mukbang content, 244 (30.1%) the Cookbang content, and 162 (20.0%) another contents. Among the content watching motives in the Cookbang content group, information acquisition and enjoyment were predominant, whereas emotional satisfaction had the lowest frequency. Compared to the Mukbang content group, when the Cookbang content group mediated information acquisition motivation, the scores of the total, diversity, balance, and practice of NQ-A score areas increased. Compared to the Mukbang content group, the score in the moderation area decreased when the Cookbang content group mediated enjoyment motivation. If food content with accurate information and interesting content are produced and used for adolescent nutrition education, the education will be highly effective.

Raising Critical Awareness of Watching American TV Cartoons in an ESL Context

  • The study focused on exploring the ways that young ESL learners can cultivate media literacy by asking critical questions about the messages embedded in popular American TV cartoons. The participants in the study were five Korean children who came from three different families that had been living in a Midwestern college-town in the U. S. for less than two years. Research methods include analysis of interviews, video-taped sessions and photos of children's drawings. The children were asked about their American cartoon viewing habits as well as critical questions after watching two episodes of their favorite cartoons-Pok$\acute{e}$mon and SpongeBob. The analysis revealed that on one hand popular culture played an important role in helping children to adjust to a new culture and in motivating them to learn English. Further, the children believed that watching American cartoons was helping them improve their English skills. On the other hand, it appeared that they were not accustomed to being asked critical questions and thinking critically while watching American cartoons. Participation in the study increased the children's familiarity with critical questions and critical thinking to varying degrees. Pedagogical implications and suggestions for teachers are discussed.

OTT 시청에 따른 획득충족이 이용자의 행동 의도에 미치는 영향 (Impact of Gratifications Obtained on Behavioral Intention Watching OTT Services)

  • 본 연구는 이용과 충족이론을 적용하여 OTT 이용자의 행동 의도를 예측하는 데 목적이 있다. 본 연구는 이용과 충족이론의 핵심 개념인 획득충족의 구성요인으로 콘텐츠 품질, 콘텐츠 다양성, 여가활동 가능성, 오락 추구성, 시청의 편리성, 그리고 요금의 합리성을 선정하였다. 분석 결과, 획득충족의 구성요인 중 콘텐츠 품질과 콘텐츠 다양성은 유의수준 0.01에서 그리고 오락 추구성과 시청의 편리성은 유의수준 0.05에서 이용자 행동 의도에 유의미한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 반면, 여가활동 가능성과 요금의 합리성은 이용자 행동 의도에 유의미한 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 파악되었다. 본 연구는 이런 분석 결과를 토대로, 기존 미디어를 대상으로 한 연구와 본 연구의 차이점을 설명하고 OTT를 대상으로 이용과 충족이론의 확장 가능성을 검토하였다.

A Study on the Influence of Watching Youtube Sound Content (ASMR) on Youth Learning and Life

  • Recently we have lots of Youtube contents and their influence. But Just a few Studies have announced Youtube content's effect. The purpose of this paper is to see if ASMR content, which is popular through Youtube recently, helps teenagers stabilize their minds and improve their learning abilities. To that end, a survey of teenagers found that ASMR content is very familiar to teenagers, and that 66.7 percent of teenagers use ASMR content for sleep and learning. About the change before and after watching, half of the respondents said they felt a positive difference in learning and psychological stability. As a result, ASMR is a significant content for teenagers with a specific purpose. Therefore, policies such as 'after-school' in terms of school education are proposed as alternatives rather than unilateral measures such as banning ASMR content to teenagers.

초등학생의 TV 시청 및 인터넷 이용 실태와 식습관의 관련성 연구 - 광주.전남 일부지역을 중심으로 - (Relationship of TV Watching, Internet Usage and Dietary Habits of Elementary School Children in Gwangju and Jeonnam Area)

  • This study was conducted to examine the relationship between dietary habits and time spent watching TV and using internet, in elementary school children. The data were collected by a questionnaire survey of 712 elementary school children, within Gwangju and Jeonnam area. The SPSS 12.0/win program was used to analyze the 523 samples. Amount of TV-watching time was found to be related to the dietary habit score in the subjects. The children who watch TV "less than 1 hour/day" on weekdays had a better dietary habit score than those who watch TV "more than 1 hour" (p<0.0001). The children who watch TV "less than 2 hours/day" on weekends had a better dietary habit than the children who watch TV "more than 2 hours/day" (p<0.0001). The internet usage was also related to the dietary habit score in these children: those who use internet "less than 1 hour/day" on weekdays had a better dietary habit score than the children who use internet "more than 2 hours/day" (p<0.0001). The children who use internet "less than 2 hours/day" on weekends had a better dietary habit score than the children who use internet "more than 2 hours/day" (p<0.0001). These results indicate that the children tend to have a better diet when their TV and internet time is limited and thus healthy dietary behavior is negatively associated with a sedentary pattern of activity in elementary school children.

유아교육기관에서의 뮤지컬 관람 실태와 활성화 개선 방안 연구 (A Study on the strengthening of Watching the Children's Musicals in the early childhood Education Institutions)

  • 본 연구는 유아교육기관에서의 뮤지컬 관람에 대한 현장의 실태를 알아보고, 문제점 및 활성화 개선방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 이에 다음과 같은 연구 문제를 선정하였다. 첫째, 유아교육기관의 뮤지컬 관람이 어떻게 실시되어지고 있는가 둘째, 유아교육기관의 뮤지컬 관람과 연계한 교육활동은 어떻게 이루어지고 있는가 셋째, 뮤지컬의 관람의 문제점과 개선방안은 어떠한가 이다. 이를 알아보기 위해 유치원 어린이집 교사 159명을 대상으로 얻은 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 유아교육기관 대부분의 유아들은 뮤지컬 관람을 매우 흥미로워하며 새롭고 다양한 경험의 제공과 새로운 문화를 접할 수 있다고 하였다. 둘째, 뮤지컬 관람 시 사전교육 활동으로는 홍보지, 미디어 홍보영상 등을 활용한다고 답하였으며, 사후활동으로는 뮤지컬관람의 내용과 관련하여 그리기미술활동, 이야기 꾸미기활동, 동극활동으로 전개했을 때 교육적으로 효과적 이였다고 하였다. 셋째, 뮤지컬관람을 실시할 때 문제점으로는 단체유아들의 이동에 있어 통제의 어려움이 많다고 답하였다. 이러한 결과를 통해 뮤지컬관람의 교육적 효과의 중요성을 강조하고 다양한 교육접근 방법의 뮤지컬관람을 경험할 수 있는 기회의 확대를 제안하였다.

인터랙티브 드라마의 시청동기, 몰입, 시청만족도, 시청충성도 간 관계에 관한 연구: 중국 시청자를 중심으로 (A Study on the Relationships among Audience Motivation, Viewing Flow, Satisfaction, and Loyalty in Watching Interactive Drama: Focused on Chinese Audience)

  • Purpose - The purpose of this study is to understand the motivating factors of Chinese audience who watch the interactive drama, and suggest the effects of audience' motivation on viewing flow, satisfaction, and loyalty. Design/methodology/approach - To achieve the purpose of the study, a questionnaire survey on the Internet was conducted from September 26, 2021 to October 14, 2021, and data from 332 Chinese respondents were collected. Findings - Findings of this study are 1) audience motivation of watching the interactive drama is composed of 6 factors including the pursuit of entertainment and information, curiosity, interaction, sense of control and indirect experience; 2) the pursuit of entertainment and information, interaction and indirect experience have positive effects on viewing flow; 3) all six factors of audience motivation have positive effects on audience satisfaction; 4) four motivating factors including the pursuit of entertainment, curiosity, interaction and indirect experience have positive effects on audience loyalty. 5) viewing flow and audience satisfaction respectively has some partial mediating effects on the relationship between audience motivation and audience loyalty. Research implications or Originality - Results of this study suggest that in order to increase audience loyalty to interactive dramas, in addition to fulfilling the pursuit of entertainment, which is the basic motive for watching any drama, it is important to fulfill motivating factors related to the unique characteristics of interactive dramas such as curiosity, interaction, and indirect experience. In order for these motivating factors to lead to audience loyalty, it is more effective when viewing flow and audience satisfaction are accompanied.

건강가정지원센터 내 한부모가정 관련 사업 현황과 개선방향에 관한 연구 (A Study of Programs for Single-parent Families in a Family Support Centers)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the healthy family education, healthy family counseling, a healthy family culture, and healthy families integrated programs for single parent families in family support centers, The data collected came from 59 family support centers located in Seoul and Kyunggi-Do, Korea. Subjects included both single parents and their children. The children were of elementary school age. The types of programs were education, counseling, culture, and integrated program. Education programs were process separately for the parents and for the children. Counseling programs were mostly group-type program that aimed at improving the parent-children relationship. The contents included sections on anger management, reducing stress, enriching self-esteem. The culture programs involved experiences, camps that included cooking, watching movies, similar activities. Integrated programs involved respite support, rearing support, mentor-mentee partnerships, and the formation of self-help groups.
