  • In this letter, a novel antenna with a miniaturized aperture is proposed. The substrate including a split-ring resonator array is inserted into a size-reduced open-ended waveguide. For a low return loss and high radiation efficiency, the ring arrangement is optimized, and a stepped transition using H-plane discontinuity is proposed. The proposed antenna achieves a 70% aperture reduction compared to a conventional standard waveguide antenna of WR-187 (47.6 mm${\times}$22.2 mm). The return loss drops significantly at three frequencies, and a reasonable gain is achieved. The aperture-miniaturized antenna can be used in many antenna applications such as near-field measurement.

  • The circular cavity resonator which can measure the dielectric properties of dielectrics in the V -band(50㎓∼75㎓) frequency range was designed and fabricated. Exciting and detecting of the resonator is performed by WR15 rectangular waveguides using Bethe's small hole coupling. GaAs and PTFE plate samples were used for the verification of the performance of the fabricated circular cavity resonator. In the measurement of GaAs and PTFE using that resonator, the permittivity were measured as I2.87 and 2.14, respectively.

  • The event study analyzes returns around event date at a time. Event study provides estimation periods and cumulative returns. Stock split announcements are generally associated with positive abnormal returns. It is important to investigate the responses of stocks to new information contained in the announcements of stock splits. So It is important to study the long term performance in the case of Stock Split. This Study forced to two approach method in evaluating the performance, the event time portfolio approach and calendar time portfolio approach. The event time portfolio approach exists the CAR model, BHAR model and WR model. And the calendar time portfolio approach has the 3 factor model, 4 factor model, CTAR model, and RATS model.

  • This experiment was carried out to investigate the degrees and directions of dominance, and gene distributions by analysing diallel crosses of oriental varieties. The analysis of Wr-Vr indicated non-allelic gene interaction for days to (lowering and number of leaves. Five Plant characteristics showed different degrees of dominance : incomplete dominance for Plant height and leaf shape, over dominance for , wield and sugar, and complete dominance for nicotine. It was shown that additive genetic variance was predominant for plant height, leaf shape, and total sugar. More number of dominant genes were present in Kavala and canthi for Plant height; Basma, Samsun and Izmir for leaf shape ; and Basma and Samsun (or nicotine. Their directions of dominance were tall height, narrow leaves, and low nicotine, respectively.

  • The non-rigid molecule group theory in which the dynamical symmetry operations are defined as physical operations is applied to deduce the character table of the full non-rigid molecule group (f-NRG) of 2,3,5,6-Tetramethylpyrazine The f-NRG of this molecule is seen to be isomorphic to the group $\mathbb{Z}_3{\wr}(\mathbb{Z}_2{\times}\mathbb{Z}_2)$, where $\mathbb{Z}_n$ is the cyclic group of order n, of order 324 which has 45 conjugacy classes. We determine the some properties and relations between characters of the group. Also, we examine the symmetry group of this molecule and show that its symmetry group is $\mathbb{Z}_2{\times}\mathbb{Z}_2$.

  • This paper describes study on the preparation of ferrite powder for bonded mallets. The specimen which has the basic composition of SrO$.$nF$_2$O$_3$ with n=5.9 is in nonstoichiomatric region. Calcination is performed under N$_2$ atmosphere 1175$^{\circ}C$, 1200$^{\circ}C$, 1225$^{\circ}C$, 1250$^{\circ}C$ and 1275$^{\circ}C$ respectively. Then, Cooling is carried out in the furnace. In order to increase coecivity and obtain uniform grain size, we add to the specimen 0.7wt%CaCO$_3$, 0.3wt % SiO$_2$, 0.5wt%Na$_2$SiO$_3$ and 0.5wr% Al$_2$O$_3$. Also, in order to increase milling effect, carbon coating on sample particles is tried. As the result, single magnetic domain partic1e with Size of 1$\mu\textrm{m}$ in obtained and magnetic properties are improved.

Exciting and detecting of the resonator is peformed by WR15 rectangular waveguides using Bethe's small hole coupling. • The purpose of this study is to suggest a hyperfine maskless writing technique by using the nanoindentation and HF wet etching technique. Indents were made on the surface of Pyrex7740 glass by the hyperfine indentation process with a Berkovich diamond indenter, and they were etched in $50\;wr\%$ HF solution. After etching process, convex structure was obtained due to the deformation-induced hillock phenomena. In this study, effects of indentation process parameters (etching time, normal load, loading .ate, hold-time at the maximum load) on the morphologies of the indented surfaces after isotopic etching were investigated from an angle of deformation energies. Finally, sample characters were written to show the possibility of the application.

  • A 2.45 GHz electron cyclotron resonance (ECR) plasma source with a belt magnet assembly configuration (BMC) was developed for hyperthermal neutral beam (HNB) generation. A plasma source for high flux HNB generation should be satisfied with the requirements: low pressure operation, high density, and thin plasma. The ECR plasma source with BMC achieved high density at low operation pressure due to electron confinement enhancement caused by high mirror ratio and drifts in toroidal direction. The 2.45 GHz microwave launcher had a circularly bended WR340 waveguide with slits. The microwave E-field profile induced by the microwave launcher was studied in this paper. The E-field profile was a cups field perpendicular to B-filed at ECR zone. The optimized E-field profile and B-field were found for effective ECR heating.

  • Geochemical and Sm-Nd isotopic results are reported for amphibolite of the Muju area, Ryeongnam massif. Major and trace element data analyzed indicate that the parental rock of the Muju amphibolite is tholeiitic basalt. The Sm-Nd amphibole-WR-plagioclase data define an isochron corresponding to $1766{\pm}121Ma$ ($1{\sigma}$) (MSWD=1.10) with an initial ratio of $0.51032{\pm}15$. We interpret this age as a metamorphic age of the Muju amphibolite. Tectonic discrimination diagrams clearly fail when they are applied to the Muju amphibolite probably due to compositional variations resulting from crustal contamination and/or degrees of partial melting.
