본 논문에서는, 기존의 HTML로 기술된 웹 페이지를 그대로 유지하면서 휴대단말기를 이용하여 웹 페이지에 접근하려고 할 때, 휴대 단말기에서 웹 페이지를 기술하는 언어인 WML로 변환하여 사용자에게 서비스하는 Converting System을 설계 그리고 구현한다.

무선 이동 통신 인구의 증가와 무선 서비스에 대한 수요는 증가하고 있으며 이에 맞추어 무선휴대 장치의 성능도 빠르게 발전을 하고 있다. WAP 포럼에서 제정한 WML(Wireless Markup Language)을 사용한 무선 컨텐츠의 제작이 활발하게 이루어지고 있는 가운데 보다 더 동적인 WML 무선 컨텐츠의 요구가 증가하고 있다. 그로 인해 개발자가 실제와 같은 상황에서 WML과 WML Script 컨텐츠를 편리하게 테스팅 할 수 있는 환경이 필요하게 되었다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 CP(Content Provider)들이 작성된 WML(Wireless Markup Language) 컨텐츠(Content)를 쉽고 편리하게 브라우징하면서 테스팅 하기 위하여 필수적으로 요청되는 WAP(Wireless Application Protocol) 에뮬레이터 및 무선컨텐츠 제작에 필수적인 WMLScripts 해석기의 설계 및 구현에 대해 기술한다.

XML은 웹문서 기술을 위한 표준과 모들 유형의 정보에 대판 데이터 기술 언어로써 점차 그 사용 폭을 넓혀가고 있고 특히 E-commerce(인터넷 전자상거래)를 위한 웹문서 표준으로 자리를 잡아가고 있다. 또한 최근에는 이동전화를 사용하여 데이터 통신을 하는 WAP 즉 WML 역시 이동진화의 보급으로 인해 사용 폭이 매우 급속히 증가되고 있고 이로 인해 M-commerce(모바일 전자상거래)의 관심 역시 커지면서 WML이 M-commerce를 위한 표준이 되고 있다. 하지만 웹에서 작성된 XML데이터를 WML로 변환하는데 있어서 수작업으로 변환해야 하는 문제점을 안고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위한 방안으로써 모바일 인터넷 통신을 위해 임의의 XML문서를 자동으로 WML문서로 변환하여 즉시 원하는 XML데이터를 WML로 변환 가능하여 E-commerce와 M-commerce간에 원활한 데이터 변환이 가능한 시스템을 구현한다.

현재 WML 무선 인터넷 사이트를 제공하는 CP(Content Provider)들은 구축된 사이트의 오류 발생 여부를 확인하는데 많은 시간과 노력을 소모하고 있다. 특히, WML 컨텐츠를 제공하는 망 사업자들은 다수의 CP로부터 등록된 많은 수의 사이트를 제한된 시간이내 검증하는데 많은 어려움을 가진다. 본 논문에서는 무선 상의 CP가 제공하는 WL 컨텐츠의 효율적인 관리를 위해 WML(Wireless Markup Language) 사이트를 자동 검증해 주는 웹 기반의 검증 시스템을 설계 및 구현한다.

근래에 눈부신 통신 장비의 발달은 무선환겅에서 인터넷 사용을 가능케 하였고, 또한 인터넷 사용자의 다양한 욕구 증가로 인해 무선 인터넷 서비스에 대한 기대도 급증하는 결과를 낳았다. 이를 위해 많은 통신사업자들이 연합하여 단체를 구성하고 무선 인터넷을 위한 프로토콜 표준을 제정하여 실용화하고 있다. 현재 WAP은 이들 프로토콜들을 대표하고 있고 결과로 많은 컨텐츠들이 WML로 제작되어 서비스되고 있다. 하지만 인터넷 상의 다수의 웹 페이지들은 이미 HTML을 사용하여 제작되었고 이는 WAP이 지원하지 않는 언어이므로 사용자를 위해 WAP 환경에 맞는 WML로 변환하는 과정이 필요하게 되었다. 이와 더불이 제공되는 서비스의 개발과 관리 목적으로 유선상에서도 이를 확인할 수 있는 사용자 에이전트가 필요하게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 HTML 문서를 WML 문서로 변환하는 변환 플랫폼과 이를 유선상에서 확인하고 관리할 수 있는 사용자 에이전트에 대해 제안한다.

To access massive and various HTML documents that are in the web using wireless Internet equipments, another WML document that is equal to the HTML document must be written. In the case Web documents written by HTML are massive, the construction of a WML site with the same information needs much cost of space and time. This paper designs and implements the HTML-XML converter that alleviates such a problem. The HTML-XML converter translates the Web document written by HTML to the WML document for portable wireless equipments. The HTML-XML converter has advantages that it reconstructs WML document dynamically according to portable wireless equipments and processes various image formats such as GIF, JPG, BMP, and so on. The HTML-WML converter can be used as not only a utility of the WML editor but also a real time converter on wireless internet.

This study serves as basic research for the development of a new wood-based building finishing material that improved the weakness of inorganic materials such as gypsum board and magnesium board widely used as interior finishing materials and brought out the strength of the wood. The results of evaluating the physical and mechanical properties and the environmental effect related to hazardous substance discharge having manufactured a wood-magnesium laminated composite are as follows. The thermal conductivity and thermal resistance of WML board was improved by about 28~109 percent over magnesium board due to the low thermal conductivity of wood. The adhesive strength of WML board showed a similar result to that of plywood as it exceeds 0.7N/㎟, the adhesive standard of wood veneer which is presented by KS F 3101. Bending strength and screw holding strength were more improved by manufacturing WML board than magnesium board. The WML board manufactured in this study satisfied the criteria for emissions of hazardous substances prescribed in the Indoor Air Quality Control Act, and confirmed the possibility of development as a new wood-based composite material that can replace existing inorganic materials.

This paper describes the implementation of HTML converter for wireless internet access in wireless application protocol environment. The implemented HTML converter consists of the contents conversion module, the conversion rule set, the WML file generation module, and the frame contents reformatting module. Plain text contents are converted to WML contents through one by one mapping, referring to the converting rule set in the contents converting module. For frame contents, the first frameset sources are parsed and the request messages are reconstructed with all the file names, reconnecting to web server as much as the number of files to receive each documents and append to the first document. Finally, after the process of reformatting in the frame contents reformatting module, frame contents are converted to WML's table contents. For image map contents, the image map related tags are parsed and the names of html documents which are linked to any sites are extracted to be replaced with WML contents data and linked to those contents. The proposed conversion method for frame contents provides a better interface for the users convenience and interactions compared to the existing converters. Conversion of image maps in our converter is one of the features not currently supported by other converters.
