Trend on the Recycling Technologies for Waste Electric and Electronic Equipment by the Patent Analysis (특허검색(特許檢索)에 의한 폐전기(廢電氣).전자기기(電子器機) 재활용(再活用) 기술(技術) 동향(動向))

  • The patents were searched to investigate the trend and the direction of technologies about the recycling of WEEE (waste electric and electronic equipment). Database was collected from WIPS site, and then 223 patents were selected by investigating abstracts. The patents from 1986 to 2007 were analyzed according to countries, international patent classification (IPC), companies, technologies, and recycling-target materials. The most patents were applied in Japan and by Japan companies. Patents about physical pretreatment technology are the most among the patents of the WEEE recycling technologies. Patents about printed circuit boards among target materials are the most because of its high value-added.

  • R&D trend for Auxiliary Power Supply(APU) of electric vehicle can be well understood by analyzing patents at home and abroad. Based on this trend analysis, domestic technology development direction is proposed. To get technique trend, patents of Korea, Japan, Europe and America published until February of 2014 are analyzed by WIPS DB. First, power converter and transformer two big category are classified. Power converter can be classified into resonant DC to DC converter and resonant Half bridge inverter; transformer can be classified into high frequency transformer, ferrite transformer and matching transformer. By analyzing R&D trend of different counties, companies and years, specific technology needed to be developed and trend of technology can be accurately grasped.

Investigation and Empirical Validation of Industry Uncertainty Risk Factors Impacting on Bankruptcy Risk of the Firm (기업부도위험에 영향을 미치는 산업 불확실성 위험요인의 탐색과 실증 분석)

  • In this paper, we present empirical testing result to examine the validity of inbound supply and outbound demand risk factors in the sense of early predicting the firm's bankruptcy risk level. The risk factors are drawn from industry uncertainty attributes categorized as uncertainties of input market (inbound supply), and product market (outbound demand). On the basis of input-output table, industry level inbound and outbound sectors are identified to formalize supply chain structures, relevant inbound and outbound uncertainty attributes and corresponding risk factors. Subsequently, publicly available macro-economic indicators are used to appropriately quantify these risk factors. Total 68 industry level bankruptcy risk forecasting results are presented with the average R-square scores of between 53.4% and 37.1% with varying time lag. The findings offers useful insights to incorporate supply chain risk to the body of firm's bankruptcy risk level prediction literature.

  • 드론 기술이 발전하면서 물품 배달에 드론이 이용되는 등 드론은 우리 생활 전반에 자리 잡으려 하고 있다. 하지만 대부분의 드론이 기본적인 사용자 인증 과정도 없이 보안에 매우 취약한 상태이다. 본 논문에서는 드론의 취약점을 증명하기 위해 Parrot사의 AR. Drone을 대상으로 Wi-Fi 연결을 통한 인증해제, telnet을 통한 명령 수행, ftp 서버를 통한 파일 변조 공격을 적용해 보고, 이러한 취약점에 대해 무선 AP의 비밀번호를 복잡하게 설정하는 방법, 무선 침입 방지 시스템을 사용하는 방법, NAP 또는 NAC 솔루션을 구축하는 방법과 같은 적절한 대응 방안을 논의한다.

IEEE 802.11w 무선 보안 표준 기술

  • IT기술의 발전으로 인하여 스마트 폰, 테블릿 PC, 노트북 등의 고사양을 가진 모바일 단말의 보급률이 증가하고 있으며, 모바일 단말이 사용하는 IEEE 802.11 표준 기술 또한 지속적인 보완작업과 개정작업을 통해 지원하는 주파수 대역 확장 되었으며, 데이터 전송속도도 빨라지고 있다. 하지만 기술이 발전하고 있음에도 불구하고, Management Frame의 무결성 확인 과정의 부재로 인한 보안 취약성이 아직 남아 있으며, 이를 악용하는 악성행위자의 ARP Spoofing 공격, AP DoS(Denial of Service) 공격, Mac Spoofing 을 기반한 Rouge AP 공격 등에 취약하다. 공공기관, 회사에서는 위 같은 취약점으로부터 무선네트워크를 보호하기 위해 WIPS 시스템을 도입하였지만, 이 또한 Management Frame의 취약성을 근본적으로 해결 할 수 없었다. 때문에 IEEE 802.11 워킹그룹은 Management Frame 보안성을 향상시킨 IEEE 802.11w-2009 표준 기술이 제안 하였으며, 이로 인해 Management Frame의 무결성을 확인하지 않아 발생하는 취약성으로 인한 보안 위협을 근본적으로 방지 할 수 있게 되었다. 하지만 IEEE 802.11w 표준 환경을 적용함으로써 새로운 유형의 보안 위협이 발생되었다. 따라서 본고에서는 IEEE 802.11w 표준에 대하여 살펴보며, IEEE 802.11w 표준 환경에서의 보안 기술에 대한 동향 알아본다.

  • 현대 사회는 노트북, 스마트폰 등 무선 통신기기의 발전, 확산 및 유무선 통합 컨텐츠의 활발한 개발로 인해 어느 때보다 무선랜의 사용이 확산되고 있다. 하지만 물리적인 침투를 해야만 공격 및 내부정보 접근이 가능한 유선 네트워크에 비해 전파 도달 범위 내의 어디서나 누구나 접속이 가능한 무선 네트워크는 상대적으로 보안 취약점을 내포하고 있다. 이러한 취약점 개선을 위한 가장 중요한 정보가 무선 네트워크에 접속 대상인 인가, 비인가 사용자 정보를 얼마나 효율적으로 수집 관리하는 가에 있다. 현재는 OA 및 보안 관리자가 수동적으로 수집,관리하는 무선기기 정보를 본 논문에서는 자동화 수집 시스템 및 무선 침입차단시스템(WIPS)와 연계한 시스템 아키텍쳐를 제시하고 구현하였으며, 실제 이동통신사 무선 네트워크에 적용하여 정보 수집율이 향상되고 외부 침입에 대한 능동적 대처 능력이 향상되었음을 확인 하였다.

  • Manufacturing systems like a motor production process are analyzed using simulations than numerical analyses and/or heuristic methods due to their stochastic properties. The SME(small and medium enterprise) producing automotive motors that develop CIM systems to improve production performance is focused as an application site. We analyze and understand the system exactly using layout based simulation, and then we will suggest the initial feashible production-plan dependent on the layout to overcome weak-points of the current system(i.e., high WIPs, bottle-neck processes, due-date delays and etc.). And, solutions are suggested to increase performances of SMEs producing automotive motors in this paper. The simulation model built in this study is moedlled and analyzed with fully object-oriented methodology using SiMPLE++TM according to properties of production processes of the automotive motor. And, we will introduce ways to verify the model with developed templates for reusability when new needs will be occurred such as designing a new ship, extension or rearrangement of the system, change of production-plans, receiving urgent orders, and so on.

  • Wire Ion Plasma Source (WIPS) is a plasma device which has a thin wire anode, a coaxially-set cylindrical cathode and electrodes located in both ends of the cylinder. The potential between the anode and cathode changes logarithmically by this electrode configuration. This electrode configuration enables high-density plasma to produce even at a low anode voltage. Since the electrode configuration is axially symmetric and long. plasma with axially uniform number density can be produced. Using particle-in-cell(PIC) and Monte Carlo collision(MCC), we investigate the traiectory of electrons and the characteristics of D.C. discharge in Wire ton Plasma Source.

Analysis of Domestic Patent Information on Hydroponics Field (수경재배 분야의 국내 특허 정보 분석)

  • This study was conducted to collect the basic data fo the development ot hydroponic technique and the efficient promotion of water culture. We have also analysed the water culture associated domestic patent application informations searching for on-line internet site with an admission fee (http://www2.wips.co.kr) from the year 1983 to January, 2006. Fifty nine patent applications related to the hydroponics were searched for in this study. Main patent contents applied were as followed in the order of that nineteen applications about the hydroponic equipments by 32.2%, thirteen applications about the materials used in water culture by 22.0%, eleven applications about the composition of nutrient solution by 18.6%, nine applications about the cultural methods by 15.3%, and seven applications about the cultural media by 11.9%. The compositions of nutrient solution and the cultural methods intended for specific crops were increased in number following five applications about tomato plants and four applications about potatoes. Thirty three patents (55.9%) were mainly applied before the year 2000. Main patent contents were the compositions of nutrient solution before the year 2000 in contrast to the cultural methods and substrates after the year 2000.

A Study of the Effect of Intangible Asset on Firm Value : Focused on KOSDAQ-Listed Medium-Sized Companies (기업의 무형자산이 기업가치에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 : 코스닥 상장 중견기업을 중심으로)

  • According to the growing importance of science and technology policy, investment in research and development (R&D) has been increased. In this context, a patent as one of outcome of firm's systematic R&D investment is the way to hold a dominant position in companies' technology competitiveness and also to protect technology right. This study attempts to find the effects of input resources and intellectual property production activity on company value. It conducted empirical analysis based on 238 KOSDAQ-listed and medium-sized firms. Using the previous research, this study configurated research variables about activity of patent production, company value, and input of resources. Through these variables, it aims to know the effect of input of resources and activity of patent production on company value. First, the result of regression analysis shows that R&D cost has the positive effect on a patent production and sales promotion cost positively affects on the registration of the trademark. Second, the output of regression analysis indicates that a patent has the positive effect on company value but a trademark has not. With regard to the input of resources, R&D cost has the influence on company value but sales promotion cost has not. This study attempts to find the effectiveness of company's intellectual property registration on its value and suggests a way that the systematic R&D investment contributes the growth of company value.
