Primary erythromelalgia is a rare condition that’s characterized by erythema, an increased skin temperature and burning pain in the extremities. The pain is often very severe, and treating erythromelalgia is frustrating and difficult. We report here on the case of a 12-year old girl with primary erythromelalgia in both lower extremities. The pain was refractory to medical treatment, but a bilateral sympathetic block with lidocaine and triamcinolone resulted in relief from the pain. Our experience with this disease demonstrates that sympathetic blocks are effective in improving the symptoms and they may be attempted on erythromelalgia patients who do not respond to other treatments, including medication and epidural blocks.

Armillary sphere, generally known as, not only astronomical instrument for observing astronomical phenomena but also symbolizes the royal authority and royal political ideology which is based on Confucianism. Among the well-reputed Confucian scholars were built their own armillary spheres. However, these armillary spheres which exist are damaged and most of parts of its have been lost. We analyzed and measured the remnants of armillary spheres which were made by Toegye Lee Hwang, Uam Song Si-Yeol and Goedam Bae Sang-Yeol who were well-reputed Confucian scholars in Joseon Dynasty, and have been executed the restorations of Toegye Lee Hwang and Song Si-Yeols armillary sphere based on the drawings which were drawn as the original form by analysis and measurement of its remnants.

This study evaluated the convenience and heating performance of 4 heated vests on the market through a trial of the vests. Participants were four healthy men who wore the garments outside in cold temperatures typical of the garments' real conditions of use. As the results, all the participants preferred the product, having an easily operable controller in ergonomic aspects and the good insulation for keeping the body temperature. The heating performance of vests was the most important factor in selecting the best product in this test. Indeed, the vests themselves found not to be sufficiently warm in the experimental condition. Thus, heated vests with the enhanced heating performance should be developed so that temperatures in the allowed range can be safely accessed.

Since the World Health Organization (WHO) classification for central nervous system neoplasms was declared in 2000, chordoid glioma of the third ventricle has been noted as a newly recognized tumor for central nervous system neoplasms. Although there is not enough universal experience to know the nature of this tumor due to its rarity, the origin of chordoid glioma was guardedly proposed to be the ependymal cells of the third ventricle. Such an idea has been primarily based on the specific location of the tumor, that is, third ventricle, suprasellae, and hypothalamus. However, we report a rare case of histologically confirmed chordoid glioma located in the left thalamus, not attached to any of the midline structures having unusual neuroradiological characteristics.

Authors describe a patient who developed a myelopathy associated with Guillain-Barr$\'{e}$ syndrome and cervical myelopathy. We provide radiological evidence of non-compressive herniated cervical intervertebral disc with cord signal changes and show the clinical and electrophysiological result of coexisting Guillain-Barr$\'{e}$ syndrome and cervical myelopathy. We tried to introduce and review the case of Guillain-Barr$\'{e}$ syndrome which was combined with cervical myelopathy to let us recollect the presumptive cause.

The common etiologies of pneumocephalus, presence of air in the intracranial cavity, are trauma and cranial surgery. Pneumocephalus after spinal surgery is an unusual postoperative complication. We report the case of a male 59-year-old man who developed a pneumacephalus after posterior lumbar surgery for spinal stenosis. Intraoperatively, a cerebrospinal fluid leak following a dural tear was noted and immediately repaired. The next day, the patient complained of headache and dizziness. Head and lumbar computed tomography scans revealed significant air in the frontal region, several cisterns, intraventricle, and extra-dural area in the spine canal. Symptoms were spontaneously resolved within 2 weeks with conservative management.

This study aimed to quantify antibiotic consumption and expenditures for acute upper respiratory tract infections (URIs) (J00-J06) in outpatients from 2009 to 2011. We used WHO ATC classification and DDDs in measuring antibiotic consumption. National Health Insurance and Medical Aid claims data were analyzed. Antibiotic consumption has decreased from 4.44 DDD/1,000inhabitants/day in 2009, to 4.43 in 2010 and 3.74 in 2011. The estimated expenditures were 8,206 won/1,000inhabitants/day in 2009, 8,379 in 2010, and 7,004 in 2011. Clinics accounted for 89.8% and 86.0% of antibiotic consumption and expenditures respectively for the acute URIs in 2011. We need to monitor antibiotic consumption consistently, and promote judicious antibiotic use.

Sildenafil citrate ($Viagra^{(R)}$ Pfeizer US Pharmaceutical Group, New York, NY, USA) is a potent vasodilating agent to treat male erectile dysfunction. Among its adverse effects, hemorrhagic stroke has not been widely reported yet. We present a case of a 33-year-old healthy man who ingested 50 mg sildenafil a half hour before onset of headache, nervousness and speech disturbance. Head computed tomogram of this stuporous man showed huge intracerebral hemorrhage and thick subarachnoid hemorrhage, but angiography failed to disclose any vascular anomalies. Subsequent surgical procedure was followed, and rehabilitation was provided thereafter. Sildenafil seems to act by redistributing arterial blood flow, and concurrent sympathetic hyperactivity, which lead to such hemorrhagic presentation. Extreme caution should be paid on even in a young adult male patient wven without known risk factors.

A college student who exhibited several post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) symptoms was used as a case study in order to investigate the therapeutic effects of sandplay therapy for PTSD sufferers. In total, 27 sessions of the sandplay treatment program were used to conduct psychological tests before and after the sessions. Any changes in the manner of expressions on the sand box during the treatment, and the results of pre and post psychological tests on aspects of depression, anxiety and interrelationships were analyzed. Overall results showed that the subject exhibited progressive behavioral improvement and signs of recovery. Psychological tests revealed reduced levels of depression and anxiety, and improved interrelationship scores. In conclusion, sandplay therapy does exhibit positive benefits as an effective treatment modality for PTSD in adolescents and young adults.

Strategic agility plays a critical role in sustaining competitive advantage in the turbulent environment. This study examines the relationship between a logistics information system and, strategic agility through the analysis of "H" corporation case. The results of case study showed that the introduction of logistic information system facilitates the degree of strategic sensitivity, collective commitments and resource fluidity, which are primary elements of strategic agility. This study gives an insight to the practitioners who attempt to create strategic agility through the implementation of logistic information systems.
