  • The UBV light curves of a close eclipsing binary SW Lyn were obtained with the observations made at the Sobaeksan Astronomy Observatory during 7 nights from September 1983 to March 1987. These light curves show asymmetry to the secondary minimum light and the asymmetry is larger at the shorter wavelength light curve. Assuming that the star sport makes the asymmetry, we employed the WD code to make the B and V light curves solution. We confirmed that SW Lyu has near contact(semi-detached) Roche configuration and has the Case A evolution.

  • The absolute dimensions of low mass contact binary, GR Vir and HV Aqr were obtained using WD program from the published spectroscopic and photometric observational data. The evolutionary status of this type of system including GR Vir and HV Aqr has been considered. The primary stars of low mass contact binary system were located on the Terminal Age Main-sequence and secondary stars were located under the Zero Age Main-sequence in H-R diagram.

  • A total of 824 observations (206 in ${\Delta}B$, 206 in ${\Delta}V$, 206 in ${\Delta}R$, 206 in ${\Delta}I$ for CC Com were made on 3 nights from March 3 to April 3 in 2002 using the 61cm telescope with 2K CCD camera of the Sobaeksan Optical Astronomy Observatory of KASI. From our observations 9 times of minimum light were newly determined. Combined analysis of our new BVRI light curves with the double-lined radial velocity curves of Pribulla et al. (2007) were made with the 2004 Wilson-Devinney(WD) binary model code to yield new physical parameters of the CC Com system. Small asymmetries in light curves were explained with the adoption of two hot spots on the cool secondary.

  • A total of 920 observations (230 in ${\Delta}B$, 230 in ${\Delta}V$, 230 in ${\Delta}R$, 230 in ${\Delta}I$) for V523 Cas were made on 5 nights from January 6 to 24 in 2003 using the 61cm telescope with 2K CCD camera of the Sobaeksan Optical Astronomy Observatory of KASI. From our observations 9 times of minimum light were newly determined. • This paper aims to measure and evaluates the technical efficiency with two inputs and four outputs with the use of fuzzy DEA(Data Envelopment Analysis) in Korean RCC(Rescue Co-ordination Center)/RSC(Rescue Sub-Center). Especially, this paper included not only the marine accident data which occurred for the analysis in particular but also the possibility data of a potential marine accident by an Environmental Stress value and analyzed the technical efficiency. And in this paper, asymmetrical triangular fuzzy number is presented about inputs/ outputs data and a procedure is suggest for it solution. The basic idea is to transform the fuzzy CCR model into a crisp linear programming problem by applying an alternative ${\alpha}-cut$ approach. Also this paper propose a ranking method for fuzzy RCC/RSC using presented fuzzy DEA approach. The result, when ${\alpha}-cut$ is 0.5, efficiency priority should be in order to YS, BS, MP, TS, JJ, PH, US, IC, SC, DR, GS, TA, WD RCC/RSC. Finally, Inefficiency TA, WD RCC/RSC have to benchmarking with reference sets.

  • We present new BVR CCD photometric light curves for the close binary star V445 Cep. A new photometric solution and absolute physical dimensions of the system were derived by applying the Wilson-Devinney program to our observed light curves and radial velocity curves published by Pych et al. The evolutional status of V445 Cep was found to coincide with those of the general low mass ratio contact binary systems.

  • Due to increasing spectrum demand for new wireless devices applications, cooperative spectrum sensing (CSS) paradigm is the most promising solution to alleviate the spectrum shortage problem. However, in the interweave cognitive radio (CR) system, the inherent nature of CSS opens a hole to Byzantine attack, thereby resulting in a significant drop of the CSS security and efficiency. In view of this, a weighted differential sequential single symbol (WD3S) algorithm based on MATLAB platform is developed to accurately identify malicious users (MUs) and benefit useful sensing information from their malicious reports in this paper. In order to achieve this, a dynamic Byzantine attack model is proposed to describe malicious behaviors for MUs in an interweave CR system. On the basis of this, a method of data transmission consistency verification is formulated to evaluate the global decision's correctness and update the trust value (TrV) of secondary users (SUs), thereby accurately identifying MUs. Then, we innovatively reuse malicious sensing information from MUs by the weight allocation scheme. In addition, considering a high spectrum usage of primary network, a sequential and differential reporting way based on a single symbol is also proposed in the process of the sensing information submission. Finally, under various Byzantine attack types, we provide in-depth simulations to demonstrate the efficiency and security of the proposed WD3S.

  • This study synthesized pure anatase carbon doped $TiO_2$ photocatalysts supported on a stainless steel mesh using a sol-gel solution of 8% polyacrylonitrile (PAN)/dimethylformamide (DMF)/$TiCl_4$. The influence of the pyrolysis temperature and holding time on the morphological characteristics, particle sizes and surface area of the prepared catalyst was investigated. The prepared catalysts were characterized by several analytical methods: high resolution scanning electron microscopy (HRSEM), energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS), X-ray diffraction (XRD), Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET), and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). The XRD patterns showed that the supported $TiO_2$ nanocrystals are typically anatase, polycrystalline and body-centered tetragonal in structure. The EDS and XPS results complemented one another and confirmed the presence of carbon species in or on the $TiO_2$ layer, and the XPS data suggested the substitution of titanium in $TiO_2$ by carbon. Instead of using calcination, PAN pyrolysis was used to control the carbon content, and the mesoporosity was tailored by the applied temperature. The supported $TiO_2$ nanocrystals prepared by pyrolysis at 300, 350, and $400^{\circ}C$ for 3 h on a stainless steel mesh were actual supported carbon doped $TiO_2$ nanocrystals. Thus, $PAN/DMF/TiCl_4$ offers a facile, robust sol-gel related route for preparing supported carbon doped $TiO_2$ nanocomposites.
