  • 본 논문에서는 대표적인 실시간 운영체제인 VxWorks를 대상으로 인터넷 접속 지원 모듈을 개발하고 기능을 시험하였다. 개발된 인터넷 접속 지원 모듈은 네트워크 라이브러리와 DHCP 클라이언트, TFTP 클라이언트/서버, 텔넷 클라이언트 프로그램으로 구성되어 있으며, VxWorks에서 인터넷 접속을 위한 네트워크 환경 설정과 파일 송/수신, 원격 시스템 접속 기능 등을 제공하고 있다.

  • To support distributed environment that is independent and standardized between heterogeneous system, a study on the TAO(The ACE ORB) communication middleware based on the RT-CORBA is highly being done. The TAO supports real-time features not on the general purpose operating system like Windows or Linux but on the real time operating system like Vxworks or LynxOS. In this paper, we build and construct environment that supports a thread-level real time feature by porting the TAO on VxWorks target. Also we validate the ported TAO by network communication with the TAO of Windows.

  • This Paper deal with a design, making a prtotype and test methods of Real-time towed Line Array Sensor Data processing board for fast data communication and long range transmission with SFM(Serial FPDP Module) through Optic-fiber channel. The LAS A,B,C group Data from towed line array sensor which is installed in FFX(Fast Frigate eXperimental) of Korean Navy is packed a previously agreed protocol and transmitted to the Signal processing unit. Consider the limited space of VME 6U size, LAS Data processing board is designed with MPC8265 PowerPC Controller of Freescale for main system control and Altera's CycloneIII FPGA for sensor data packing, self-test simulation data generation, S/W FIFO et cetera. LAS Data processing board have VxWorks, the RTOS(Real Time Operating System) that present many device drivers, peripheral control libraries on board for real-time data processing.

  • If the control system that works important job fails, economical loss occurred. Hence, to guarantee high reliability, it must be duplicated. In the case of traditional duplication mechanism, dedicated operating system with duplication functions were built. This required much development and maintenance cost. They can be saved, if we use commercial operating system and its development environment.This paper proposes a duplication mechanism for the system based on commercial 0S. The system that explained in this paper is BSC(Base Station Controller). The duplicated BSC system uses concurrent write memory for synchronization and VxWorks as an operating system. We propose how the task supporting duplication functions is executed without delay and preemption, how to synchronize standby's memory with active' s, and how to use concurrent-write memory easily with VxWorks' s partition. We also describe the takeover procedure when the active detects its hardware fault and when the standby recognizes the failure of the active.

  • A railway SCADA system is a control systems that provide the trains with the electricity. A railway SCADA system sends commands to the RTUs(remote terminal unit) and then it gathers status information of the field devices in the RTUs or controls field devices connected with the RTUs. The RTU can controls input output modules directly, gathers the status information of the field devices connected with it, and send the information to the control center. In this way, a railway SCADA system monitors and controls the electricity power for running trains. The cyber attackers may use some vulnerabilities in the railway SCADA system software to attack critical infrastructures. The vulnerabilities might be created in the railway software development process. Therefore it need to detect and remove the vulnerabilities in the control system. In this paper we propose a new control protocol fuzzing method to detect the vulnerabilities in the DNP3 protocol based application running on VxWorks in RTU(Remote Terminal Unit) that is a component of the centralized traffic control system for railway. Debug-channel based fuzzing method is required to obtain process status information from the VxWorks.

Establishment and evaluation of the VX2 orthotopic lung cancer rabbit model: a ultra-minimal invasive percutaneous puncture inoculation method

  • The purpose of the present work is to establish an ultra-minimal invasive percutaneous puncture inoculation method for a VX2 orthotopic lung cancer rabbit model with fewer technical difficulties, lower mortality of rabbits, a higher success rate and a shorter operation time, to evaluate the growth, metastasis and apoptosis of tumor by CT scans, necropsy, histological examination, flow cytometry and immunohistochemistry. The average inoculation time was 10-15 min per rabbit. The tumorbearing rate was 100%. More than 90% of the tumor-bearing rabbits showed local solitary tumor with 2-10 mm diameters after two weeks post-inoculation, and the rate of chest seeding was only 8.3% (2/24). The tumors diameters increased to 4-16 mm, and irregularly short thorns were observed 3 weeks after inoculation. Five weeks post-inoculation, the liquefaction necrosis and a cavity developed, and the size of tumor grew further. Before natural death, the CT images showed that the tumors spread to the chest. The flow cytometry and immunohistochemistry indicated that there was less apoptosis in VX2 orthotopic lung cancer rabbit model compared to chemotherapy drug treatment group. Minimal invasive percutaneous puncture inoculation is an easy, fast and accurate method to establish the VX2 orthotopic lung cancer rabbit model, an ideal in situ tumor model similar to human malignant tumor growth.

  • 자바는 플랫폼 독립성, 보안, 멀티 쓰레드 지원, 가베지 콜렉터 등 많은 장점을 갖고 있는 언어이다. 하지만 현재의 자바 가상 기계(JVM)는 시간 제약 조건을 갖는 주기적인 태스크 수행, 실시간 스케쥴링 등 실시간 응용을 위한 지원이 미흡한 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 실시간 운영체제인 VxWorks와 내장형 JVM인 퍼스널 자바 상에서 실시간 응용 프로그램의 지원을 위한 자바 쓰레드를 설계, 구현한다. 이를 위해 기존의 자바 쓰레드에 시작시간, 주기, 종료시한 등의 시간 속성을 삽입하고, 실시간 자바 쓰레드 API 클래스를 구현한다. 실시간 스케쥴러를 세가지 방식으로 구현한다. 첫째는, JVM을 수정하지 않고 시간 속성에 따라 쓰레드에 우선 순위를 할당하여 스케쥴링하는 방식이고, 둘째는 JVM을 수정하여 시간 속성에 따라 VxWorks 커널 스케쥴러를 통해 스케쥴링하는 방식이며, 셋째는 독립적인 스케쥴링 태스크를 구현하는 방식이다. 쓰레드 생성, 문맥 교환 등의 오버헤드와 스케쥴링 시 종료시한 초과 비율 등의 기준을 통해 각각의 성능을 비교한 결과, VxWorks 커널 스케쥴러를 이용한 방식이 가장 적합하다는 결론을 얻을 수 있었다.

  • DTC(Data Terminal Controller) for UAV has been developed using FPGA. It provides the functions of Error Correction and Time-division Mux/Demux for stable data-link. RTOS VxWorks also has been used for real-time control of data-link. FPGA Design of DTC facilitates the modification and extension of various I/O device, and VxWorks ensures real-time availability of data-link control and provides flexibilities of changes of S/W design. The DTC is expected to be deployed easily for various UAV systems.

  • 이 글에서는 Multi-Tasking Real Time O.S인 VxWorks를 기본으로 하여 다중센서 융합(Multi-Sensor Fusion) 능력을 갖는 다중 로봇 협조제어 시스템의 구현에 대하여 살펴보았다. 본 제어 시스템은 두대 로봇의 제어에 필요한 장애물 회피, 조건 동작(Conditional Motion) 혹은 동시동작(Concurrent Motion)과 외부 디바이스와의 동기 Motion(Conveyor Tracking)을 수행할 수 있게 구현하였고, 몇몇 작업을 통해 우수성을 입증하였다. 앞으로 본 연구와 관련한 추후 과제로는 1) 자유도가 6관절형인 수직다관절 매니퓰레이터를 위한 충돌회피 알고리즘의 개발, 2) Two Arm Robot의 상대 위치를 위한 Auto-Calibration 시스템의 개발, 3) CAD Based Trajectory 생성 등이 있다.
