In this paper, we propose an enhanced snapshot technique that solves performance degradation when snapshot is initiated for the storage cluster system. However, traditional snapshot technique has some limits adapted to large amount storage shared by multi-hosts in the following aspects. As volume size grows, (1) it deteriorates crucially the performance of write operations due to additional disk access to verify COW is performed. (2) Also it increases excessively the blocking time of write operation performed during the snapshot creation time. (3)Finally, it deteriorates the performance of write operations due to additional disk I/O for mapping block caused by the verification of COW. In this paper, we propose an efficient snapshot technique for large amount storage shared by multi-hosts in SAN Environments. We eliminate the blocking time of write operation caused by freezing while a snapshot creation is performing. Also to improve the performance of write operation when snapshot is taken, we introduce First Allocation Bit(FAB) and Snapshot Status Bit(SSB). It improves performance of write operation by reducing an additional disk access to volume disk for getting snapshot mapping block. We design and implement an efficient snapshot technique, while the snapshot deletion time, improve performance by deallocation of COW data block using SSB of original mapping entry without snapshot mapping entry obtained mapping block read from the shared disk.
For the sake of the Restoration(to the original state) of "Sanbeon-bang(刪繁方)", in this study observed carefully the bibliographical results of "Oedaebiyo-bang", "Cheongeumyo-bang", "Cheongeumik-bang" and "Uisim-bang", which directly quoted "Sanbeon-bang". "Sanbeon-bang" is mostly remained in "Oedaebiyo-bang", and the other provisions of "Sanbeon-bang" mostly lie scattered in "Cheongeumyo-bang" and "Cheongeumik-bang", established 100years before "Oedaebiyo-bang" and "Uisim-bang", established 200years after "Oedaebiyo-bang". And there are few other documents which quoted the "Sanbeon-bang". "Cheongeumyo-bang", a synthetic medical work was compiled in 652, and which refered large quantity of medical documents before Dang-dynasty(唐代) by Son Sa-mak(孫思邈). And he linked the technical opinion of himself. The comments of medicine, as well as the prescriptions are refleting the outcome before Dang-dynasty systematically. For the most part of the medical arguments in "Sanbeon-bang" lie scattered in "Cheongeumyo-bang". "Cheongeumik-bang", also a synthetic medical work which is for the sake of supplement of "Cheongeumyo-bang" was complied in 682 by Son Sa-mak. As well as "CheongeumYo-bang" it doesn't make clear the sources of quotation from "Sanbeon-bang". So it used as the data for confirmation. "Oedaebiyo-bang" was compiled in 752 of Dang-Dynasty by Wang Do(王燾) the a governor-general of Eop-gun. Wang Do was descended from a noble family, and usually visited the palace and dealed with large number of books in Hongmunguan(弘文館), the national library. He programmed the book on the base of wide scopic collection of medical documents. And he took charge of gverment post at the same time as Wang Bing(王氷) who compiled "Chaju-Hwangje-Naegyeong-Somun(次注黃帝內經素問)" in 762. So we can guess they might have seen the same documents and holded the medical knowledge in common. The 40 volume "Oedaebiyo-bang" was a great medical complete book in those days. In particular, it became the model of medical complete books of after ages. The description of the book is mostly the qutation of medical documents of before ages. The character is recording of quotation documents and the order of volume. On the base of the recording, we can reconstruct the table of contents of Sanbeon-bang. By way of the contens, we can understand the purpose of "Sanbeon-bang". Besides, I can see a lot of qouotations of "Sanbeon-bang" in "Cheongeum-bang" and "Uisim-bang" are repeatedly quotated in "Oedaebiyo-bang". For that reason, I observed the bibliographical results of "Oedaebiyo-bang" in detail. "Uisim-bang" was compiled in 982 by the Japanese Niwayasyori(丹波綱賴). It followed the example of the structure of "Oedaebiyo-bang", refered to the contents of "Cheongeumyo-bang", collected chinese medical classic books spreaded in Japan. It contains medical documents of before Su-Dang(隋唐)-era, indicated the source of quotation. The importance of the book is summarization and preservation of large quantity of chinese medicine before 10th century. In this study, a lot of the quotation in "Uisim-bang" from "Sanbeon-bang" were not in "Oedaebiyo-bang".

Since 2009 The Korean National Police Agency has been pushed "permissive left-turn" forward in order to making progress in Korean traffic operations system. Preceding researches manuals and guidelines present 6 standards(# of accidents # of lanes, pedestrian volume sight # of permissive left-turn lanes vehicle volume) as installation permissive left-turn. But in practical affairs it is most important that secure enough Gap-time between permissive left-turn vehicle and opposite through lane vehicle to make permissive left-turn vehicle move safer and more efficiently. This study suggests applying gap acceptance theory in microscopic model to permissive left-turn installation standards. Analysis methods of this study are field data survey statistical analysis and microscopic simulation analysis. This study collected field data by using AVI recording and measured permissive left-turn vehicle intersection passing time(T1) and against the opposite through lane vehicle Gap-time(T2). And statistical analysis performed about two values that measured before to predict the functionality between T1 and T2. These studies to overcome the limit of sample size carried out a microscopic simulation(VISSIM) plan and collect more samples to input statistical analysis.
In this study, the probability of secondary carcinogenesis was analyzed by measuring the exposure dose of surrounding normal organs during radiosurgery using a gamma knife. A pediatric phantom (Model 706-G, CIRS, USA) composed of human tissue-equivalent material was set to four tumor volumes of 0.25 cm3, 0.51 cm3, 1.01 cm3, and 2.03 cm3, and the average dose was 18.4 ± 3.4 Gy. After installing the Rando phantom on the table of the gamma knife surgical equipment, the OSLD nanoDot dosimeters were placed in the right eye, left eye, thyroid, thymus gland, right lung, and left lung to measure each exposure dose. The probability of cancer occurrence due to radiation exposure of surrounding normal organs during gamma knife radiosurgery for acoustic schwannoma disease was 4.08 cancers per 100,000 at a tumor volume of 2.03 cm3. This study is expected to be used as useful data in relation to stochastic effects in the future by studying the risk of secondary radiation exposure that can occur during stereotactic radiosurgery.
This study aims to analyze the secondary carcinogenesis rate caused by exposure of organs at risk of damage using a glass dosimeter during radiosurgery in vestibular schwannoma disease. Using a pediatric phantom of human tissue equivalent material, the volume of the tumor was set to a total of three volumes: 0.506 cm3, 1.008 cm3, and 2.032 cm3, and a radiosurgery plan was established with an average dose of 18.4 ± 3.4 Gy. After mounting the human body phantom on the table of surgical equipment, glass dosimeters were placed on the right eye, left eye, thyroid gland, thymus, right lung, and left lung to measure the exposure dose, respectively. In this study, the incidence of secondary cancer due to exposure to damaged organs during gamma knife radiosurgery in vestibular schwannoma disease with the largest tumor volume of 2.032 cm3 was measured with a glass dosimeter. This study studies the risk of secondary radiation exposure dose that can occur during stereotactic radiosurgery, and it is considered that it will be used as basic data in the field of radiation damage related to the stochastic effect of radiation in the future.

The purpose of this study was to develop a large representative data base for jeans marketing strategy This study was to survey brand features(launching year, launching company, design concept, sales volume, and price zone) in the current market, and was to examine brand awareness and it's relationship to segmented distribution regions, demo- graphic variables(sex, age, monthly household income, and seasonal clothing expenditure). This study was also to analyze brand image and consumer's seeking image. The 660 questionnaires were distributed and 618 reliable ones were used for statistical analysis. A SAS statistical package including frequency table, Chi-square test, factor analysis, analysis of variance(ANOVA), Duncan's multiple range test and paired-t test was used. The results are as follows: 1. Brand awareness involves "brand recall" based on asking a person to name the brand recalled first, and "brand recognition" based on asking to identify brand name from 30 given brands. The result of recall brand test indicated that Levi's was dominant brand. People recognized about 70.8% of brands on the average. Brand recognition was influenced by segmented distribution region and demographic variables. 2. There was significantly positive relationship between brand recognition and purchasing behavior. 3. National brands were more recognized than Licensed brands. 4. The result showed that "Nix" was best represented for sophisticated brand image, "Strom" for characteristic, "Jambangee" for resonable price, and "Levi's" for classic '||'&'||' comfortable brand image. 5. As a result of factor analysis on consumer's seeking image, six factors(characteristic, young, intelligent/sexy, comfortable, exotic and popular) were found. Several factors had a relationship with preferred design, demographic variables, fashion interest, and brand recognition. variables, fashion interest, and brand recognition.
Traditionally, finality has been regarded as one of virtues of arbitration. However in many cases absence of appeal process in arbitration is also a factor deterring people from choosing arbitration. Even though unsatisfied party may resort to a court for annulment of an award, it is allowed only when there are procedural defects. When there are substantive defects in matters of fact or matters of law, it is not easy or almost impossible to bring the case on the table again. The introduction of arbitration appeal process has been discussed in international arbitration fora, and some countries have already been adopting appeal process. Realizing this trend, it is time for us to consider adopting similar appeal process. Arbitration being based on the party autonomy, there's no good reason to prohibit appeal when the parties agree to do so. Arbitration appeal should be allowed within arbitration system itself, rather than resorting to a court, so that many virtues of arbitration can be maintained in the appeal. In designing an arbitration appeal system, following measures should be considered: minimum amount in dispute to trigger the right of appeal should be set in order to reduce the volume of appeal; losing appellant should be responsible for the legal cost of his opponent in order to deter non-meritorious appeals; time limits on initial appeal application and subsequent briefs should be set in order to accelerate appeal process; and, appeal tribunals should be composed of more experienced arbitrators in order to provide more accurate award. If we are equipped with a well designed appeal process within arbitration system, Korea will be able to emerge as an attractive international arbitration forum.

Objectives: Hundreds of thousands of call center workers are wearing an acoustic device for their businesses, such as telemarketing and customer counseling, and the number of the workers are increasing sharply. Because call center workers always talk to dozens of customers over the headset, they would be placed under the state of a higher risk with their hearing ability. The purpose of this study is to investigate factors that affect the hearing thresholds for the call center workers. Methods: This study investigated hearing losses of 101 workers of 5 call centers in Korea by executing puretone audiometry and self-administered questionnaires. A cross table analysis was processed to compare gender differences between male and female. Male and female hearing thresholds were compared with the Students' t-test, and one-way ANOVA was conducted to observe the difference between non-occupational and occupational characteristics in 2, 3, 4, 6, and 8 kHz hearing thresholds for the female workers. Additionally, multiple regression analysis was conducted to find the factors that affect the 4 kHz hearing thresholds. Results and Conclusions: Male hearing thresholds were higher than those of female except for 8 kHz. In the group having an ear related disease, hearing threshold of male left ear was highly affected rather than that of female in 4 kHz. There were significant differences in the variables of alcohol drinking (2 kHz) and headset volume (8 kHz) in both ears. While this study does not show any significant factors that affect the hearing thresholds in the occupational characteristics, the gender and the previous ear related diseases, non-occupational characteristics, were found as the factors in 4 kHz. It is suggested that the more detailed survey be performed to identify the occupational factors that affect the hearing thresholds in the call center workers based on the result derived from this study.

This study was carried out for the settlement and camber of earth dam by the changes of the density. The testing material was taken five kinds of Soil used as banking material and it was compacted by 100, 95, 90, 85 and 80% compaction degree. The results of the settlement of earth dam whose height ranges from 10m to 50m are as follows. 1.The more the fine particle (n) increases, the higher the liquid limit (WL) and the lower the dry density (rd) becomes as follows; rd=2. 22-0. 0052n (gr/cm$_3$) rd=2. 394-0. 0164WL rd=2. 185-(5. 8n-2. 5WL)X10-$_3$ 2. The higher the optimum moisture content (Wo) becomes, the lower the density becomes as follows; rt,=2. 68-0. 028Wo rd=2. 578-0. 04Wo 3. 3.Most of the consolidation occurs immediately by loading and the more the fine particle increases, the lower the coefficient of consolidation becomes. 4.The more the fine particle increases and lower the compaction degree (D) becomes, the lower the pre-consolidation load (Pc) becomes but on the contrary the compression index (Cc) becomes higher. Those equation is as follows. Pc=3. 32-(4. 3n-3. 0D) X10-2 (kg/cm$^2$) Cc=0. 41+(1. 33n-4. 44D) X10-$^3$ 5.The more the consolidation load (P) increases, the lower the coefficient of volume change (mv) becomes with mv=ap-b, the higher the consolidation ratio (u) becomes with U= (0. 6~1. 35)PO.4 6.The more the fine particle (n) increases, the more the settlement of dam occurs with U=anb and 60-80% of the settlement occurs under construction. 7.The camber of dam has higher value in condition that has more fine particle, poorer compaction and higher height of dam. In the dam construction about twice value of table 7 is required for dam safety.

The purposes of the study is to see as to how much of changes has occurred in the newly revised Home Economics Textbooks required by the 6th Curriculum as compared to those by the former the 5th Curriculum, and to seek future policy directions which can be improved even better, if any, for further revision. To implement this proposal, the study employs 8 different textbooks published in 1997 geared for the 6th Curriculum for data base. The components of the contents divides into two major parts. The first part falls into a category of holistic analysis of the textbooks, which gives a general perspective of the changes in the textbook revised. It includes those areas of changes in the total number of pages, cover page, illustrations, table of contents, appendices, unit cover, introductory remarks, summary and evaluation, etc. It also covers the information on authors of textbook. The latter part consists of several specific areas of major changes occurred in the textbooks for the 6th Curriculum. It covers such areas of changes in the composition of category and its weight, laboratory experiences, and illustrations and tables. To conclude the study, among many findings, two major points are of great importance to mention here. First, the new textbooks have adopted more of varieties in physical appearances and contents per se as to the older ones. And yet, there still found a weakness in numbers of authors participated to a full reflection of contents variety. In addition, the background of authors reflected on an unrealistic idealism which lacks the on-site information provided by the school teachers. Second, the strict regulations created by the Ministry of Education for developing textbook found restricting the authors creativity and thus contents variety of textbooks. Those restricting factors include letter type and size, coloring, paper quality, and volume size.
