This study will examine the visual composition by which Secretly Greatly, in a circumstance that even the good original Manhwas or Webtoon have not made a hit on the market until now, could attract the spectator, in other word, illustrate the analogousness of the images through analysing visual texts. The study draw, first of all, a meaning of the box office performance caused by analogousness of image, that is similarity between the webtoon and film. In addition, the study will come up with an answer to the question that the webtoon, not in a temporary trend but in a sustainable form, can make itself develop. For this, the study suggests a meaning, worth and importance of the transformation, analysing visual components of a webtoon to film adaptation, Secretly Greatly. It primarily ranges over visual components, mise-en-scène identified with its expression formula, frame to frame changes and colour and tone. The examination sets the cinema's visual expression manner against the webtoon's on their concrete components: the size of scene, movement, color and tone, narrative condition and its background, spatial composition and depth, contrast, expression manner and disposition manner.

Since 1966 when James Turrell completed his studies on Art, he has been working on the consistent theme of Art. For the 46 years of time, site contexts, scales, methods of light have been changed and they made Turrell's unique 'project series'. Each series has different spatial, visual-perceptual forms and characteristics from other series. The differences were caused by the given situations, but also Turrell intentionally pursued it. However, there are essential theme of art that has not changed in most of Turrell's projects. Target of this paper is to study the unchanged theme as well as the differences. The study starts with three questions: first, what is the geometrical space composition?, second, what is the visual-perceptual phenomenon?, third, what is the hidden consistent theme? This research focuses on three case projects: Wedgework, Space Division Constructions, Skyspaces. These project series are in between the early small object-like installations and the late mega-scale outdoor projects. The study found that geometrical space composition has important role to give visual-perceptual dynamism to the viewer. The phenomenological perception is connected to the questions of relationship between human and space, ultimately human and the world. Although the Merleau-Ponty's philosophy has been related to the work of Turrell in various previous studies, Cartesian 3-dimensional geometry has also crucial role to experiment a viewer's perceptual boundaries. Image of infinity is another aspect of three cases, especially Space Division Constructions and Skyspaces. Through these structure, Turrell's work lead to an ultimate question of meaning for human existence in infinite space. It is hoped that this paper is helpful for Architecture and Interior design field in which light and space are essential.

This study tried to analyze the composition relation of a form in Korean traditional architecture through the viewpoint of visual perception and through the analysis by the number and quantity, and to analyze and implied relationship between the form composition of the traditional architecture and the principles of perception in the contemporary viewpoint by reviewing all the aspects on how to be perceived. Architecture has been studied in the relationship of the form and the space both existing together, so has Korean traditional architecture. But in the present condition with the construction norm of the traditional architecture-well known for its beauty in shape-and documents not existing, so that the study on Korean traditional architecture in the aspects of the form has to be undertaken on the basis of researching the existing architecture theoretically and architecture-relating documents actually. Therefore this study tries to review the mathematical principle and the ideological background of those days, and the attitude of ancestors treatment to the architecture by researching the existing architectural figure. Using mathematical analysis method with the basis of the above synthetically, this study aims at the analysis in the aspects of the visual perception on the form of Korea an traditional architecture.

Modern consumers tend to show value-oriented, image-centered, individualized, and emotionalized consumption behavior, not the consumers who are simply provided with products. Department store industry actively corresponds to the changing consumption behaviors of consumers and pays attention to Visual Merchandising(VMD) as a strategy to visually differentiate stores and sales environments. This study shows 6 parts of effective VMD; presentation of product, product display, color composition, planning of lighting, POP and sign display.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics of interior space in his design hotel through the analysis of Tony Chi 's work and to present the direction of the design direction of the interior space of the design hotel in the future based on the results. The results are summarized as follows. First, the characteristics of the interior space of Tony Chi are divided into visual balance, repetitive rhythm, symbolic emphasis, exaggerated scale, design harmony, and physical borderlessness. Second, the spatial composition through visual balance was consistently shown in all cases, mainly by arranging elements such as furniture and lighting symmetrically. Third, the spatial composition through repetitive rhythm did not show its characteristics at the beginning of the works, but gradually appeared as repetitive rhythm expression using bold pattern. Fourth, Toni Chi constantly expressed the space composition through symbolic emphasis during the planning of the design hotel. Fifth, the exaggerated scale was mainly used to express the architectural detail vertically according to the height of the ceiling to express a grand space and appear in many works. Sixth, Toni Chi consistently expressed the composition of space through the harmony of design of oriental and western cultures, classical and modern designs in all cases. Seventh. In order to provide curiosity induction and aesthetic experience, spatial composition through physical borderlessness was used.

The purpose of this paper is to study on the spatial characteristics from the "The Holy Trinity" fresco painted by Masaccio in the early Renaissance paintings. The results of this study are as follows. 1. The elevation composition of the "The Holy Trinity" fresco is divided into the upper and lower structure through horizontal axis on horizontal line around vanishing point. The upper structure is composed of vertical axis formed through the disposition of the "Trinity" elements and horizontal axis on horizontal line. The lower structure is composed of the sarcophagus and skeleton in such inside and the altar supported through circular columns of left and right. 2. The section composition of the "The Holy Trinity" fresco is composed of the ceiling structure of cylindrical-shaped vault on upper part around basic square floor plan that is interior space and upper structure. The exterior space and lower structure is placed with sarcophagus in inner part that altar and step is projected as same height and width in the outside direction. 3. The basic floor composition of the "The Holy Trinity" fresco is planned by square shape around structural columns that is placed at corners as symmetry through transverse, longitudinal and diagonal axis. The whole floor composition planned through the altar and step that is in exterior space at front, the apse of round form at rear part and the structure of the middle story concept at interior. 4. The visual aspect of the "The Holy Trinity" fresco is composed of the stable balance in relation with distance and height because the interior and exterior space as well as the upper structure and lower structure is formed by regular proportion system. The elevation angle of visual range was planned to view in detail generally or partially the architectural composition system and element, characters through proper visual distance, center and position.

In film various techniques interact organically in order to bring a story to life and, by doing so, influence the audience's perception. The techniques composing the form of a film are part of a format-system and therefore have to be well adjusted to the content of the film to trigger an intended effect. It is then that these techniques boost the intensity of the audience's emotional experience. The subject of analysis in this study of aesthetic composition, which is part of the concept of visual narrative, is the movie "Silence", which depicts a disturbing story based on real events. The goal of this study is the analysis of composition techniques used to support the film's narrative structure, where elaborate frame-composition and techniques are applied with great efficiency. Another goal is also to illustrate the meaning of film-format and its importance. Looking deeper into the question of how meaning and emotions, which are inherent in a film, finally manifest themselves on screen through a single shot, where the cinematographer's ideas and aesthetic vision come together and also the question of how a narrative structure in the context of a film works- these questions are the essence of this study.

Digital media changed not only our lifestyle and sense of value but also art and space design, and development of technology will accelerate the alteration. It provided limitless possibility and inspiration to art, architecture and design. In this 'image' era, media communicate with us mostly in visual method, which gets to he realized by visual interface. The purpose of this study is to analyze the tendency of visual interface of contemporary interior design cases in the standpoint of digital media characteristics and suggest directions for future space design. The characteristics of digital media and interface are defined, and how the concept unfolded in art, design is also discussed. In interior design, the concepts come out as various types of visual interface, showing the characteristics of composition of material and immaterial, interaction between visual information and space users and among users, realization of cyberspace and simultaneous coexistence of multiple space-time multi-layer.

The purpose of this study is to objectively explain the visual sensibility of clothing pattern and develop the design of clothing pattern that satisfies the consumer's sensibility. The photos stimuli on clothing pattern are divided into source, presentation, layout and are composed of each 6 photos per chapter totally 48 photos and semantic differential bi-polar scales are consist of 27 couples sensibility words. The subjects were 400 females in the twenties. Data were analyzed by SAS. The major finds were as follows: 1. As a result of the factor analysis, 4 factors of visual sensibility were consist of Coordination, Hardness and Softness, Attention, Rhythm. 2. As to the difference of visual sensibility based on the composition of clothing pattern, there were differences Hardness and Softness, Rhythm by source and there were significant differences among 4 factors by presentation and layout. 3. According to the age and education level, there were significant differences in Attention, Rhythm and according to the consuming areas, there were significant differences in Coordination, Rhythm. 4. According to sensibility positioning, The clothing pattern was classified as soft-hard, simple-complicated. 5. As a result of the regression analysis, preference, consuming desire and satisfaction appears to be closely related. Good quality is related with total clothing image which is brought about composition of clothing pattern.

Utilizing a structure of operations known as Dissection-Motion-Operations (DMO), a set of mathematics propositions or area-formulas in school mathematics will be introduced through shape-to-shape transforms. The underlying theme for DMO is problem-solving through visual reasoning and proving manipulatively or electronically vs. rote learning and memorization. Visual reasoning is the focus here where two operations that constitute DMO are utilized. One operation is known as Dissection (or Decomposition) operation that operates on a given region in 2D or 3D and dissects it into a number of subregions. The second operation is known as Motion (or Composition) operation applied on the resultant sub-regions to form a distinct area (or volume)-equivalent region. In 2D for example, DMO can transform a given polygon into a variety of new and distinct polygons each of which is area-equivalent to the original polygon (cf [Rahim, M. H. & Sawada, D. (1986).
