Generally, bridge designers must consider variable factors in design of bridge-structures. For this reason, it was difficult to make a design program till now. However, the rapid development of computers turns it into a possible one with considering complex factors and the advance of computer's language make us design programming. When we use the automatic design program including structural analysis(FEM), we can save the time and effort. Additionally, the automatic design program was generated to reduce the man' errors. Therefore, in this paper, the automatic design program of the Prestressed Concrete Slab Bridge was developed. This design program will support bridge designers with time that they can spend on a creative and efficient duty for development of design.

본 연구에서는 수치근접사진측량기법에 의한 DCS 420 디지털 카메라의 석재표면 거칠기 측정정확도 파악을 위하여 윈도우 환경의 Microsoft Visual basic 6.0으로 표면거칠기측정시스템을 구축하였다. 본 시스템을 통하여 거칠기가 거의 없는 이상적인 평면과 곡면인 돌의 표면 거칠기를 최소제곱법으로 기준면을 적용, 측정한 결과 $\pm$0.1 mm이하의 정확도로 측정할 수 있었다.

콘크리트 배합설계의 목적은 사용 조건에 따라 요구되는 성능을 만족시키는 콘크리트를 만들기 위하여 가장 경제적이며 실용적인 재료의 혼합비율을 결정하는 것이다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위해서는 배합설계에 대한 깊은 이해가 필요한 데 실제는 배합설계가 매우 어렵고 복잡한 일로 인식되어 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 배합설계이론을 고찰하고 비쥬얼 베이직으로 배합설계 프로그램을 작성함으로써 콘크리트 공학의 초보자도 이 프로그램을 이용하여 쉽게 배합설계를 할 수 있도록 하였다.

수학을 교육하다 보면 느끼는 것 중의 하나가 학생의 이해를 돕기 위하여 수학 내용을 시각적으로 알려주되 그 방법이 쉬운 것을 찾는 것이다. 컴퓨터의 발달과 보급으로 인하여 조그만 노력하면 이것이 가능하다는 것을 보여준다. Visual Basic은 윈도우 컴퓨터 언어로서 배우기가 쉬울 뿐 아니라, 이 언어를 이용하여 윈도우용 실행 화일을 쉽게 만들 수 있다. 이번 발표는 수치해석학에서 비선형방정식의 해를 구하는 과정을 그래픽을 이용하여 보여주는 프로그램 작성에 관한 것이다. 이것은 모든 수학의 주제에 이용할 수 있다는 가능성을 보여준다. 또한 이것의 종합적인 개발로 수학 교육에 관한 프로그램을 개발할 수 있다.

The greenhouse control system is designed by personal computer. This system should observe and control the growth conditions for crops in both plastic film and glass greenhouses. In this contribution puts emphasis on graphical user interface for greenhouse control system by personal computer under the aim of creating safer, more effective and more economical services. This system is developed for the requirements of the intelligent greenhouse control system and gives a lot of convenience for farmer who is not familiar with pc technique. The GUI and control system are programmed by Visual C++ and Visual Basic.

This paper describes a new mechanism of detecting object of interest from a noisy image, without using any a-priori knowledge about the target. It employs a parallel set of filters inspired upon biological findings of mammalian vision. In our proposed system, several basic features are extracted directly from original input visual stimuli, and these features are integrated based on their local competitive relations and statistical information. Through integration process, unnecessary features for detecting the target are spontaneously decreased, while useful features are enhanced. Experiments have been performed on a set of computer generated and real images corrupted with noise.

Fatigue strength database system was developed for Windows 95 on personal computer. The relational database management system Visual Foxpro 5.0 was used. The database system developed contains 3,147 S-N curves and 311 $\varepsilon$-N ones for 437 material symbols and has the ability to search data by material symbol that each specification marks differently. Visual Basic 5.0 was used for graphic presentation and statistical treatment of the data searched.
