본 연구는 다크투어리즘 관광지 중 하나인 서대문형무소 역사관을 대상으로 실제 관광자들의 관람동선과 관람행태를 분석하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 선행연구를 통해 도출된 관람동선 유형과 관람자의 행동기록 코드인 'Muse-Ethogram'을 기반으로 직접관찰법을 이용한 행태추적 조사를 실시하였다. 서대문형무소 역사관 관광자들의 관람동선과 관람행태를 분석한 결과, 제안동선(SA), 임의동선(UNA), 유도동선(DA)이 모두 나타났다. 관람자의 관람행태는 이동(M), 정지/관람(SL), 읽음(RE)이 전체적으로 가장 높은 빈도를 보였으며, 다크투어리즘만의 관람행태인 '감정을 표현함(EXP)'이라는 새로운 행태를 발견하였다. 관람자들의 행태패턴은 정지/관람-읽음-이동(SL-RE-M)의 빈도가 가장 높게 나타났다. 이상의 연구결과는 다크투어리즘 관광지의 콘텐츠 구성시 관람동선이나 관람행태, 전시방향관련 계획 및 설계 가이드라인으로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

The purpose of this study is to analyse the diagrammatic design approaches and programmatic design approaches in contemporary architecture, so that this reveals the sequential systems of circulation in the space and liberal movement of the visitors in the buildings of those diagrammatic and programmatic architecture. Contemporary architecture generates the new forms and meanings through the dynamic visions and perspectives. Such a variation of sequential vistas and dynamic visions produce a perception of time and a potential movements of axis in the perspective. This study give the systematic body to the relations among visions, movements, sequences, forms, circulations and time. Diagrammatic and programmatic design approaches show the heterogeneous spaces and the informal architectures in contemporary architecture. Therefore, movements of various view points, differrentiations of objects in the perspectives, and multiple view frames appears in the designs of initiative architects. In conclusion, this study systemizes the concepts of time, sequential movements, and perceptions of events in contemporary architecture through the analyse of 18 architectural works of important architects in 2000s. And this shows details of the transitional movement of space and the perception of time in contemporary Architecture. The Being of the active time constructs formal transformations, spacial differentiations, accumulations of human behaviors, and movements of circulations involved with experiences of the field of senses. Therefore, Zeitlichkeit is perceived through concepts of the sequences of those spaces, forms, behaviors, and memories.

Shiwha Lake is an excellent example of a body of water restored from a state of heavy pollution to a cleaner and more ecological state. This paper will explore techniques and methods available to landscape planning for the creation of new migratory birds habitats in Shiwha Lake. Because Shiwha lake is located adjacent to a new industrial site on reclaimed land, any planning effort aimed at restoring bird habitats must carefully consider the existing context. This plan had 3 goals; (1) to restore the coastal environment, (2) to create a habitat for migratory birds, and (3) to administer environmental education programs. To achieve these goals, several objectives were determined and planning criteria were proposed for topology, water environment(fresh, brackish and salt water swamps), zoning(for experts and general visitors), circulations, planting and mounding. The flora and fauna of the site was surveyed, and 5 alternatives were suggested and compared in several aspects. Planting species were carefully selected considering target birds and habitat requirements. In order to increase bio-diversity of the site, the plan proposed multi-staired mounds and extensive drainage systems. Bird watching facilities with natural materials, and the remote observing system using CCTV and the internet were some of the ecological techniques recommended by the plan. The bird watching trails are divided into two different zones for experts and general visitors.

This project has been designed for people to experience and understand the process, importance and benefit of coal fire plants. As the biggest and first typical Korean fire plant using coal, Boryeong fire plant has had important roll for the Korean industries. Even so, people has had wrong prejudice for the fire plant in terms of environmental protection. To do these kind of rolls, this museum has been designed with theme, "Boryeong fire plant mating symbiotic relationship between nature, human and technologies." The space was zoned with five major themes: i. circulation of energy in nature, ii. electric power and eco-fire plant, iii. future energy, iv roll for future of environment, v. Korea as the leading energy industry. The design has been developed focused on spatial experiences to make 'Design Sequence' with linear circulations haying several important destinations. The interior has been finished with minimal color and materials projected by big sized movie and various LED movie system. Concept of appordance has been used to make interactive experiences between exhibits and visitors.

미국 RCPL과 전주시립도서관의 여러 측면들을 비교 분석한 결과 RCPL이 예산, 직원수 등이 훨씬 많고 정보 매체의 양과 질, 이용횟수, 홍보 등 거의 모든 면에서 우수한 것으로 나타났다. 특히 전주시립도서관의 '지역민의 회원수 비율', 정보 매체의 질과 양, 대출건수, 독서회 참가자수, 홍보 등이 RCPL에 비하여 크게 부족한 것으로 나타났다. 다만 자원봉사자의 수는 전주시립도서관이 많았고 인구를 감안하지 않은 연간 방문자 수도 전주시립도서관이 더 많은 것으로 나타났다. 예산이나 인력이 제한되어 있는 상황에서 서비스의 질적 향상은 한계가 있으므로 도서관 관계자들은 더 많은 예산과 인력의 확보를 위하여 고민하여야 할 것이다. 더 많은 예산과 인력을 지원받기 위해서는 현재 전주시립도서관에서 실시하고 있는 서비스가 시민들에게 얼마나 많은 혜택을 주고 있는지 구체적 서비스의 내용을 시민과 행정당국에게 잘 홍보하여야 한다. 더불어 향후에 공공도서관에서도 기부금 모집 등록을 통하여 기부금을 활용할 수 있도록 적극적인 활동이 필요할 것으로 보인다.

This research is to analyze the public cases of information facilities in terms of central circulations in multi level volumes such as atrium or court which provide visual intervention between different spaces and physical connections such as bridges. Hunt Library design balances the understood pre-existing needs with the University's emerging needs to create a forward-thinking learning environment. While clearly a contemporary structure within a traditional context of the NCSU campus, the Hunt Library provides a positive platform for influencing its surroundings. Both technical and programmatic innovations are celebrated as part of the learning experience and provide a versatile and stimulating environment for students. Public library as open spaces connecting to an interactive social domain over communities can provide variety of learning environments, or technology based labs. There are many cases of the public information spaces with dynamic networks where participants can play their roles in physical space as well as in the intellectual stimulation. In the research, new public projects provide typologies of information spaces with user oriented media. The research is to address a creative transition between the reading space and the experimental links of the integration of state-of-the-art technology is highly visible in the building's design. The user-friendly browsing system that replaces the traditional browsing with the virtual shelves classified and archived by their form, is to reduce the storage space of the public library and it is to allow more space for collaborative learning. In addition to the intelligent robot of information storages, innovative features is the large-scale visualization space that supports team experiments to carry out collaborative online works and therefore the public library's various programs is to provide visitors with more efficient participatory environment.

본 연구는 서울시 역사공원 6개소를 대상으로 하여 역사공원의 가치를 대표하는 역사성, 교육성, 사회성이라는 세 가지 기준을 도출하고 역사문화자원의 유형, 공간 기능 및 배치, 이용 동선 및 접근성, 도입 시설의 유형과 용도를 분석하였다. 그 결과 다음과 같이 현황을 파악하고 개선 방안을 제시하였다. 첫째, 사육신 봉은 선농단 역사공원과 같은 문화재 중심 역사공원은 역사문화자원의 원형 보존에 중점을 둔 관리가 중심이 된다. 신계 양화진 이태원부군당 역사공원과 같은 비지정문화재 중심 역사공원은 역사문화자원을 기념하고 상징하는 활용에 중점을 두어야 한다. 둘째, 양화진 역사공원과 이태원부군당 역사공원은 정체성을 결정하는 역사문화자원이 혼재된 유형으로서 공원의 역사성에 대한 태도를 신중하게 고려할 필요성이 대두된다. 셋째, 봉은 역사공원과 신계 역사공원은 근린공원이었을 때보다 종교시설의 신 증축으로 인해서 시설율이 높아졌다. 공원시설 부지면적에 제한을 두지 않는 관련 법규의 자율성이 역사공원의 공공성을 약화시키는 문제점을 안고 있다. 넷째, 역사공원의 명칭 부여 시 해당 역사문화자원과 관련시키는 것이 바람직하므로 신계 역사공원은 '당고개순교성지역사공원'이라고 변경할 것을 제안한다. 다섯째, 통제되지 않은 다수의 출입구, 관람동선과 산책동선의 혼재, 폐쇄로 인한 접근성 불량 등의 문제를 인지하였다. 따라서 역사문화자원에 대한 이용자의 체험 기회를 늘릴 수 있도록 출입구와 관람동선을 명료하게 제시하고, 근린시설공간과 적절하게 분리해야 한다. 여섯째, 서울시 역사공원에는 근린공원에서 기능하는 공원 시설이 동일하게 도입되었다. 이때, 운동시설이나 야외음악당과 같은 교양시설의 경우 역사공원의 분위기를 고려하여 용도와 배치를 결정해야 한다. 일곱째, 역사공원 내 역사관, 문화관, 기념관, 홍보관이라고 명명된 역사관련시설이 원래 목적 외에 주민 편익시설과 종교시설로 이용되었다. 특정 집단의 공간 사유화로 인하여 역사공원의 공공성이 결여되지 않도록 제도적 장치에 대한 점검이 필요하다.
