가상 트라이아웃을 이용한 소음기 케이스 성형에 관한 연구 (A Study on Forming of Silencer Case Using Virtual Tryout Method)

  • 본 논문에서는 가상 트라이아웃 방식을 이용하여 소음기 케이스의 성형에 관한 연구를 수행하였다. 먼저 사각 블랭크로부터 성형 중 변형이 일어나지 않는 부분을 코너컷하여 적정 블랭크를 설계하였고 파이프 삽입부와 어깨 반경부에 발생하는 주름을 방지하기 위해 적정 드로비드를 설계하였다. 마지막으로 파이프 삽입부 주위에 발생하는 주름과 파단을 방지하기 위해 형상비드를 설계하였다. 가상트라이 아웃방식으로 결정된 성형조건에 따라 소음기 케이스의 시제품을 제작하고 해석결과와 비교한 결과 시제품의 성형성, 두께 분포 등이 해석 결과와 잘 일치함을 알 수 있었다.

  • As the new model development lead time becoming shorter and the market requirements becoming more strict, automobile manufacturer begins to utilize 3-dimensional CAD system based techniques such as DMU (Digital Mock-up), Rf (Rapid Prototyping), VE (Virtual Engineering) to meet the market trends. But, no satisfactory utilities have been developed yet, to represent emotional properties such as embossment on the surface of interior parts, touch originated from material characteristics in virtual environment, so it is inevitable to manufacture prototype parts to verify actual feeling which passengers feel in automobile. This paper suggests a methodology to enhance the human sensitivity via embodying embossment on the surface of prototype car interior trim without deterioration of dimensional accuracy using RIM (Reaction Injection Molding) and thermoforming method.

  • 기존의 가상 시작품은 3D 그래픽스를 이용하여 모델링된 제품 영상을 제공하였다. 이러한 가상 시작품은 단지 전통적인 입력 장치인 키보드와 마우스를 이용하여 다룰 수 있을 뿐, 조작부를 사용자가 직접 만져보고 조작하는 것은 불가능했다. 본 논문에서는 사용자가 실제 제품을 조작하는 듯한 느낌을 얻을 수 있도록 하는, 실감가상시작을 위한 햅틱 다이얼을 시스템을 제안한다. 햅틱 다이얼은 모터를 통해 사용자가 실제의 기계적인 다이얼과 유사한 감을 느낄 수 있도록 제어된다. 또한, 사용자가 다이얼을 조작하는 정보는 시스템에 입력되어 가상시작품이 작동하는 모습을 화면상에서 확인할 수 있도록 하였다. 이러한 실감 가상시작 시스템은 사용자 피드백을 통해, 설계 프로세스 초기 단계에서부터 제품 인터페이스를 디자인할 수 있도록 도움을 줄 것이다.

  • This paper is about implementation issues for use of the Internet technology in education. An examination of the current status of virtual university provides guidance for subsequent prototype development. A virtual university is the Internet based process by which students increase their specific knowledge and skills via electronic interaction with content and people. Virtual university enables colleges and universities to provide students and faculty with network access to courseware and educational materials on multimedia servers free from time and geography constraints. In this paper, we present a prototype instruction support system (ISS). The ISS consists of the following components in architecture: Internet, software, hardware, database systems, users, and workflow. The ISS also assists several functions as follows: lecture notes, register processes, attendance checks, built-in boards, grading systems, questions and answers, electronic libraries, chats, and search engines. Our work will provide a guideline for the development of a virtual classroom for distance education and learning.

  • To reduce the leadtime for a new model according to the strict market requirements, automobile manufacturer begins to utilize 3-dimensional CAD based techniques such as DMU(Digital Mock-Up). Guitar Tab Digit Recognition and Play using Prototype based Classification

  • This paper is to recognize and play tab chords from guitar musical sheets. The musical chord area of an input image is segmented by changing the image in saturation and applying the Grabcut algorithm. Based on a template matching, our approach detects tab starting sections on a segmented musical area. The virtual block method is introduced to search blanks over chord lines and extract tab fret segments, which doesn't cause the computation loss to remove tab lines. In the experimental tests, the prototype based classification outperforms Bayesian method and the nearest neighbor rule with the whole set of training data and its performance is similar to that of the support vector machine. The experimental result shows that the prediction rate is about 99.0% and the number of selected prototypes is below 3.0%.

  • 정부는 선진외국을 중심으로 진행되고 있는 CALS의 개념을 국내 건설산업에 적용하여 건설산업의 선진화 및 국가경쟁력을 확보하고자 건설CALS의 핵심부분인 CITIS체계 개발에 노력을 기울이고 있다. 그러나, 아직 가상헙업공간으로서의 기능이 부족하고 현장 적용을 통한 기능개선 띤 기반확산 노력이 미흡한 실정이다. 본 연구의 목적은 건설 CITIS체계의 지속적인 적용을 위한 기반조성 띤 성능개선을 위한 시도로서 프로젝트 참가자간의 정보교류 및 협업을 지원하기 위한 가상기업 개념을 정립하고 이에 기반한 CITIS 개선모델을 제안하는데 있다. 이를 위해, 일선 도로건설현장을 대상으로 실증시험 사업을 수행하여 건설 CITIS의 효과를 검증하고 가상기업으로서의 CITIS가 갖추어아 할 시스템 성능개선 방안을 도출하였다.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop the education content that induce energetically the adolescent's participation and learning for the education of suicide prevention. In order to realize it, we suggested the novel education methods based on virtual reality and HMD (Head Mounted Display), and developed the prototype system. This study intends to evaluate the effect of the proposed prototype system as a new education method with experiment and survey. This approach can show us the different possibility of adolescent's suicide prevention education.

  • The door closer is a typical system which consists of spring and damper. The door closer is a device to close the door more slowly. The virtual prototypes of cylinder-type door closer are developed. The simulations of virtual prototype are performed to obtain the load history of the guide pin. The structural strength assessment of the guide pin is performed to verify a design safety. The fatigue life and damage of the guide pin are predicted using a FEMFAT 4.3h based on the finite element analysis.

  • In this paper, analysis, design, control and prototype construction of a wearable wire-driven haptic interface called HapticPen is discussed. This device can be considered as a wire driven parallel mechanism which three wires are attached to a pen-tip. Wire tensions are provided utilizing three DC servo motors which are attached to a solid frame on the user's body. This device is designed as input as well as output device for a wearable PC. User can write letters or figures on a virtual plate in space. Pen-tip trajectory in space is calculated using motor encoders and force feedback resulting from contact between pen and virtual plate is provided for constraining the pen-tip motion onto the virtual plane that can be easily setup by arbitrary non-collinear three points in space. In this paper kinematic model, workspace analysis, application analysis, control and prototype construction of this device are presented. Preliminary experiments on handwriting in space show feasibility of the proposed device in wearable environments.
