The present paper attempts to account for temptation of quit excercise of dance sports participant. purpose of this study is to find out the relationship among the Partner Violence experiences of dance sports participant, their temptation of quit excercise, their embarrassment and desire of accomplishment. The results of this study are as follows; First, there are differences in temptation of quit exercise according to personal characteristics. Second, after the analysis of the original structural model proposed in order to explain temptation of quit exercise of dan sports participants, it was found out that the modified model eliminating inappropriate factors, such as results which is a measurement variable of temptation of quit exercise. Third, in the following order, these factors had more relative influences on temptation of quit exercise of dance sports participants. Based on the above explanation, it was found out that partner violence experiences, embarrassment, and desire of accomplishment had direct causality with the temptation of quit exercise. Therefore, it is necessary to prevent and react appropriately to the possible violence of partner in order to lower the temptation of quit exercise of dance sports participants. Also, it is required for coaches and administers to make active and consistent efforts ro improve positive desire of accomplishment.
This study sought to explore factors affecting the adjustment of children living in shelters for battered women. Specifically, the impact of domestic violence on children's internal and external adjustment was examined using data from two samples: children who were exposed to marital violence and those who did not have violent experience. Likewise, this study identified the variables that distinguished the "resilient" children from the maladjusted group. The pathways by which protective factors considerably affected children's adjustment were also investigated. A total of 72 children in a women's shelter and their mothers and 76 children in nonviolent homes and their mothers were considered. ANOVA, logistic regression models, and path analysis were employed to process the data. Results revealed that children of battered women demonstrated a high frequency of aggressive and delinquent behaviors and had poor academic achievement and depressive mood compared to children coming from nonviolent homes. Likewise, children who were exposed to marital violence and were physically abused themselves were more likely show aggressive or delinquent behaviors compared to those who only witnessed marital violence. In addition, social support was found to be a protective factor in academic achievement. Predictors of delinquent behavior included the mother's education and income as well as the children's age and social support. Factors related to children's self-esteem included the social support and the mother's self-esteem. Moreover, woman battering has a direct effect on children's adjustment as well as indirect effect through children's academic achievement and self-esteem. Finally, woman battering indirectly affected children's academic achievement through the mother's depression or the child's social support. Based on these findings, practical implications of enhancing children's adjustment were discussed.
The purposes of this study are to identify the latent classes of school violence depending on bullying and victimized experience by type and the influences of individual-level and school-level variables on determining these latent profiles. For these research goals, the present study utilized data from the Seoul Education Longitudinal Study(SELS) 5th wave, containing data from 2,195 middle school students who experienced school violences more than once. Multilevel latent profile models were applied to examine school violence among students. Our results indicated that there were four latent classes; high-level bullying and victimized group (1.7%), mainly bullying group(2.1%), mainly victimized group(3.7%), verbal bullying and victimized group(92.5%). Gender, resilience, self-control, peer relationship, parental relationship were significant determinants of the latent profiles at student level. Teacher-student relationships, school violence prevention, gender ratio of school were significant determinants of the latent profiles at school level. The present study contributed to extending theoretical discussions by classifying students into groups based on frequency and different forms of bullying and victimization. Moreover, this study examined determinants of student and school level simultaneously by dealing with multilevel data.
Purpose: This study was attempted to illuminate danger signals through an extensive analysis of factors influencing adolescents' illicit drug use. On this basis, it built predictive factors of adolescents' illicit drug use. Method: A questionnaire was distributed to 1,238 subjects living in Seoul, and of them 1,082 answers were analyzed using the SAS 8.2 program. Also logistic regression analysis was conducted based on the stepwise selection method for constructing the predictive factors. Results: The findings of this study are as follows. Individual-related factors were psycho-somatic symptoms, self-esteem, fortune delinquent experience, and sexual-violence delinquent experience. Home-related factors were insincerity, threatening and the assessment of the parent (rearer)-adolescent communication type. Society-related factors were affection of friends and friends' attitude toward delinquency. Conclusion: These findings of this study suggest that a broad intervention program should be provided to nurture wholesome youth culture related to illicit drug use. It is also recommended that a variety of individual, home and society-related programs should be developed for drug users.
The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of terror information on fear of terror. This study examined how indirect delivery of terror information influence on the public's fear toward terror to identify the reason for fear toward terror and to analyze the varying influence based on the information type. Terror is an unjust way where individual or group with certain purpose use various types of violence such as murder, abduction, kidnapping, sniping, and plunder to raise social fear status and accomplish their own will. When terror occurs, many people show fear toward terror and they withdraw from all life activities due to fear. Thus, terror goes beyond creation of fear by using the violence. Instead, terror has a negative influence on people's lives in all social, economic, and cultural fields. This study examined how terror information influencing on indirect terror experience influences on the fear of terror. The result showed that both confirmed information and unconfirmed information influencing on indirect experience had significant influence on the fear of terror. Also, the result showed the unconfirmed terror information had higher influence on the fear compared to the confirmed information.
This study is a secondary data analysis study using the 1st Panel Survey of School Dropouts in Korea for investigating predictors of suicide attempts in out-of-school youths (OSYs). Data analysis were performed using the SPSS 26.0 statistical program. Suicide attempts were reported in 62 (8%) of the 776 participants included in the study. Logistic regression analysis revealed that suicide attempts before school dropout (OR=10.66), experience of violence victimization (OR=6.97), alcohol consumption (OR=3.73), depression (OR=2.62), parental attachment (OR=0.47), peer relationships (OR=0.63) before school dropout were significant predictors of suicide attempts. Prevention of suicide attempts by OSYs should be preceded by confirmation of their experience in suicide attempts before school dropout. In addition, it is required to establish a suicide prevention program considering psychological situations, interpersonal relationships, and violence experiences.
The purpose of this study was to investigate whether there is a moderating effect of protective factors on risk factors in affecting school adjustment of immigrant youths. For this purpose, this study analyzed 69,720 youths who weighed 6,079 children of youths ages 9-24 among the 2015 National Survey of Multicultural Families. From the results of the analysis, first, the discrimination experience, school violence and depression, which are risk factors of immigrant youths, all had negative effects on school adjustment. Parental relations, self-esteem, Korean language ability, and nationality acquisition, which are protective factors, all had a positive effect on school adjustment. Second, among the three risk factors in the school adjustment of immigrant youths, self-esteem and nationality acquisition variables were analyzed as the protective factors moderating depression, and the protective factors controlling school violence were analyzed as parental relationship, self-esteem, Korean ability and nationality acquisition variables. Based on the results of the analysis, decrease in immigrant youths' depression, coping with academic violence, and development and support of various competency development programs were suggested as major social welfare practices.

The purpose is van Manen's interpretation of verbal violence experienced by nursing students during their growing up period in order to use it as basic data to improve the verbal communication essential for solving nursing problems and performing tasks with guardians and peers. For this, 10 students enrolled in the nursing department of A University in Gyeonggi-do were selected and data were collected through in-depth interviews. Data analysis conducted an existential inquiry process to focus on the essence of experience. Five thematic statements in this study were as follows: 'Beginning with a trivial conversation', 'Getting confused mind', 'Being an opportunity to reflect on myself', 'Changing the frame of my thought' and 'Making a mature me'. As a result, it confirmed the necessity of strengthening language usage and personal competency that respect the other party. Therefore, it is suggested that follow-up studies on empathy or self-positive effects are needed for effective communication techniques.

The purpose of this study was to investigate 119 rescue party's violence experiences and to analyze their responses of violence experiences based on the pre-hospital emergency medical field. Data were collected from the self-administered survey of 226 rescue party in Jeollabuk-do area in Korea from January 1 through March 2, 2009. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics and logistic regression analysis using SPSS Win 12.0. The results were as follows: first, all of 119 rescue unit in the pre-hospital emergency medical field reported that they got violence experiences more than once a week, and 62% of rescue team were exposed to physical violence. Patient's factors that caused violence were drug abuse or alcohol(56.2%), on the other hand rescue party's factors were shortage of human resources. Second, 42% of the respondents replied that they did not have any educational experiences for prevention and coping methods about violence within 5 years. 77.4% of those surveyed indicated that they wanted to receive specific educations which can prevent and cope with violence. Third, the mean value of total violent response scores was 2.53, and emotional response score was 3.2, social response score was 2.22, and physical response score was 2.17. Fourth, violent response score related to general characteristics proposed that physical(t=-2.08, p=o.38), emotional(t=-7.13, p=.006), and total responses(t=-4.764, p=.000) were statistically significant. And emotional(t=4.257, p=.000) and total responses(t=8.1330, p=.000) related to age were also statistically significant. Finally, among current tenure qualification scores, social response(t=9.987, p=.012) and total score(t=8.130, p=.000) were statistically significant. Between fire departments, violent response score suggested that physical(t=9.987, p=.000), emotional(t=2.433, p=.012), social(t=6.738, p=.000), and total score(t=5.943, p=.000) were statistically significant.
