태권도 품새 옆차기시 타겟 높이 변화에 따른 운동학적 분석 (Kinematic and Kinetic Analysis of Taekwondo Poomsae Side Kick according to Various Heights of the Target)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study is to present the scientific and quantitative data by finding the common points and differences of the side-kick according to the height change through the difference of the side kick motion performance according to the three target height changes and the function of the lower limbs muscle in side kick motion of Taekwondo Poomsae. Method: For this, total 14 players were selected who were registered in Korea Taekwondo Association and skilled group 7 players who had a medal from national competition and 7 players who did not have Taekwondo experience from department of physics. 4 video cameras to the feature on side kick per target height, and the subjects' support foot was located on the ground reactor and the practice was conducted 3 times: waist, chest, and head as the target height. the basic materials were collected by using Kwon 3D XP program and the T-test was conducted to verify the statistic difference between groups (SPSS 24.0). At this time, the statistics significance level was set as .05 and the following conclusion was obtained. Results: The lower the proficiency and the higher the height, the more the joint coordination between the hip and the knee. Conclusion: Summary of the result shows a common point that the change of target's height makes the lower the proficiency and the higher the height, the more the joint coordination between the hip and the knee. Also, the higher the target's height became, the greater angular momentum of thighs, shanks, foot became in common.

중소병원 적정성 평가를 담당하는 간호사의 지식 및 교육 요구도 (The Knowledge and Education Needs of Nurses in Charge of Adequacy Evaluation in Small and Medium-Sized Hospitals)

  • Purpose: This study examined the knowledge and education needs of nurses in charge of adequacy evaluation in small and medium-sized hospitals. Methods: Study participants included 198 nurses in charge of adequacy evaluation in small and medium-sized hospitals. Data were collected from November 19 to 28, 2020 through an online survey. The data were analyzed by independent t-test and one way ANOVA analysis using the SPSS. Results: The knowledge score for the adequacy evaluation of small and medium-sized hospitals was 11.61±4.10 (total of 20 points), and the educational demand was 3.87±0.88 points on a 5-point scale. Regarding the necessity of education for adequacy evaluation of small and medium-sized hospitals, 80.3% of the participants claimed education as being necessary. "Online video lectures" were the most preferred (22.7%) education method, and "2 times" was the most frequent education (47.0%); "1 hour" was the usual duration of class (48.5%). Conclusion: It is necessary to develop and apply an educational program reflecting the measure of educational needs to improve the knowledge level of nurses in charge of adequacy evaluation in small and medium-sized hospitals.

임상한의학 실시간 비대면교육의 평가를 위한 설문조사 연구 (Survey Research for Evaluation of Real-time Non-face-to-face Medical Education in Clinical Korean Medicine)

  • Objectives: This survey research was conducted to evaluate real-time non-face-to-face education in clinical Korean medicine conducted during the COVID-19 outbreak. Methods: This study was conducted with all 3rd and 4th grade students of the Department of Korean Medicine, Gachon University. The Korean Internal Medicine (Pulmonary) lecture course was held from April 1st to July 1st, 2020 for one semester. The lectures were conducted through real-time non-face-to-face education using the Cisco Webex program, and the lectures were mainly conducted by sharing a PowerPoint summarizing textbook. The questionnaire consisted of 3 parts and a total of 18 questions. The survey was conducted anonymously to ensure the confidentiality of all responses. Results: The overall score for real-time non-face-to-face education was 74.69±18.15 points. The efficiency of real-time non-face-to-face education was 2.12±0.78 points, and opinions on the expansion of future use were 2.08±0.91 points and were generally positive. The ratio of non-face-to-face education and face-to-face education in future clinical Korean medicine theory lectures was about 63:27, with a higher proportion of non-face-to-face education. Conclusions: Promoting clinical Korean medicine as a non-face-to-face education has generally been positively evaluated in terms of efficiency and overall, and its use should be expanded in the future. In particular, it will be necessary to use non-face-to-face education in the theory classes of clinical Korean medicine. However, technical problems involving internet, video, equipment, and communication tools will need to be improved in the future.

  • 재능거래 플랫폼은 프로그램 코딩이나 미디어 콘텐츠 제작(동영상, 음악, 발표자료 등), 디자인, 학습, 수리 등의 거래를 중개하는 플랫폼이다. 기존 재능거래 플랫폼은 서버-클라이언트 모델 기반의 서비스를 제공하여, 서버를 운영하는 비용과 거래에 대한 중재 인건비가 발생하여 이용자들이 높은 서비스 수수료를 부담하는 단점이 있다. 본 논문은 이더리움 플랫폼 기반 분산앱(dApp)으로 시스템을 통해 거래 정보를 블록에 올려 서버 및 데이터베이스 운영 비용을 절감하는 방법을 제안한다. 아울러 스마트콘트랙트를 통해 거래 중재자 인건비를 절감하여 거래수수료를 낮추는 방법을 제안한다. 블록체인 기반 재능거래 플랫폼과 기존 재능거래 플랫폼의 비용 처리 절차 및 거래수수료의 크기를 비교 분석한다.

  • IP 카메라는 원격지에서도 감시할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, UTP를 통해 전원 공급도 가능한 장점을 가지고 있으므로 아날로그 CCTV를 급속하게 대체하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 IP 카메라에 널리 적용되고 있는 ONVIF 표준의 프로토콜 구조와 그 외에도 이를 지원하기 위한 인터넷 프로토콜들을 소개하고, 상용보드 상에서 ONVIF 디바이스를 구현한다. 이러한 기능들은 클라이언트 (PC)의 관리 프로그램에서 제어 가능하지만, 사생활 보호 마스크나 열화상 카메라의 온도표시, 관심 영역과 같은 기능은 디바이스 상에서 웹 뷰어를 통해 구현한다. 실험을 통해 IP 카메라와 클라이언트 프로그램이 주고받는 SOAP 메시지와 스트리밍되는 영상을 통해 ONVIF Profile S와 웹 뷰어 기능을 확인한다.

Study on the Development of Training Programs for Standardized Patients of the Practical Examination Portion of the National Dental Licensing Examination

  • Purpose: The practical examination portion of the National Dental Licensing Examination (NDLE) is slated to be administered in the latter half of 2021 in the form of a clinical performance examination that comprehensively evaluates the patient-dentist interaction using standardized patients (SPs). The SPs should be equipped with the basic qualities and capacity as evaluators for a fair and reliable administration of the test. Materials and Methods: In this study, we analyzed the existing training materials for SPs who participated in domestic and overseas practical tests for the development of training materials for SPs through seminars and surveys of 11 dentistry schools and colleges. Result: First, SPs should be selected according to the basic quality criteria and capacity, which they must possess, and the preliminary basic training about the details which they must have knowledge of and be provided through videorecorded cases before the implementation of the preliminary field training. Second, the roles of SPs and the calibration process of the evaluation result forms are needed when conducting the preliminary field training for SPs. After watching video-recorded scenario cases, the SPs participate in discussions about the watched videos before proceeding to calibration practices of evaluation result forms. Third, because the Type A questionnaire of the practical examination of the NDLE is dependent on the SPs' capacity and training, the fairness of the practical test is largely dependent on the SPs. Therefore, practicing the roles as evaluators and evaluation training should be provided using practical test items that can improve the reliability of the test and show a high level of reproducibility about the same case. Conclusion: The findings of this study will be utilized for the development of training materials for SPs, so they can participate in the administration of a fair and reliable practical examination of the NDLE.

온라인 문제중심학습을 활용한 '가정교육론' 수업 사례 연구 (A Case Study on the 'Theory of Home Economics Education' Using Online ProblemBased Learning)

  • The objective of this study was to conduct a 'Theory of Home Economics Education' class using online problem-based learning(PBL) for prospective home economics(HE) teachers. The aim was to enable teachers to analyze the learning experience in the classroom, and to prepare operational strategies for online PBL on this basis. In order to achieve this, online PBL was applied to 31 students participating in the 'Theory of Home Economics Education' at the Department of HE in a university in Seoul, and the results were collected from the learning process. This also involved a reflective journal, a survey on the learning experience and the impacts was conducted. Moreover, analysis was undertaken on the learning activities, learning difficulties, and improvements. The main research results are as follows. Firstly, students accessed Webex, an online video conferencing program, and performed two PBL tasks: 'Making Home Economics Promotion Materials' and 'Presenting Teaching Strategies to Improve Learner's Immersion in Online Classes'. Secondly, learners established their own identity of HE learned about the HE class plans themselves. They also encountered realistic experience as HE teachers and learned communication and collaboration skills. Furthermore, they acquired creative problem-solving and self-directed learning ability, community consciousness, as well as the attitude of consideration and respect. Thirdly, students lacked knowledge of learning content and encountered difficulty in solving data research, analysis processes, and unstructured problems. They were affected by a lack of time and encountered problem in communicating with other team members in an online environment. As an improvement in online class operation, it was considrered necessary to reduce the learning burden by securing time and reducing the number of assignments, as well as to explain active interaction with instructors and PBL.

담화 맥락을 고려한 예비과학교사의 발문 반성 과정에서 나타나는 특징 (Characteristics of Pre-service Science Teachers' Reflection of Questions Considering the Context of Discourse)

  • 이 연구는 담화 맥락을 고려한 교사의 발문 향상 워크숍을 개발하기 위한 연구로 4학년 예비과학교사 4명이 연구에 참여하였다. 예비과학교사들은 워크숍에 참여하였고 이들이 발문을 반성하는 과정에서 나타나는 특징을 담화 맥락을 고려하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 예비과학교사가 자신의 발문을 반성하는 과정에서 '새롭게 알게 된 발문 유형을 적극적으로 고려', '학생의 정의적 측면에 대한 고려 부족', '학생의 응답 여부를 중요한 반성 요소로 고려', '발문 빈도를 바탕으로 한 발문 평가', '단일한 발문에 초점을 둔 반성', '다양한 PCK 요소에 대한 종합적인 고려 부족'의 6가지 주요 특징이 나타났다. 이를 바탕으로 담화 맥락을 고려한 교사의 발문 향상 프로그램을 개발하기 위한 방안을 제안하고 논의하였다.

Experience of operating a medical humanities course at one medical school during the COVID-19: a retrospective study

  • Background: This study summarizes the experience of operating a 'Medical Humanities' course, which was taught remotely to maintain activities and discussions at medical schools in Daegu, Korea during the sudden and unexpected coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). Methods: The subjects of this study were 73 first- and 79 second-grade medical students who took the medical humanities (1) and (2) courses among first- and second-grade students of Yeungnam University College of Medicine in 2020. Of the 152 students who agreed to the online survey, 123 completed the survey. Self-, environmental, and program evaluations were conducted on the study subjects, and differences according to grade and gender were analyzed. Results: As a result of the study, a significant difference between self-evaluation and environmental evaluation was confirmed. Self-evaluation was determined to be higher in the first grade than in the second grade. The environmental evaluation showed that male students were more satisfied than female students and students generally had difficulties in the classroom environment. Of the applications used in class, the highest satisfaction was observed with KakaoTalk (Kakao Corp.) and Zoom (Zoom Video Communications Inc.). At the end of COVID-19, the students preferred online classes. Conclusion: If the learning environment for online classes is well prepared and systematic provisions are made, such as class operations that are suitable for the subject, effective education and learning can be achieved by taking advantage of both face-to-face and online classes.

Who has a high level of food literacy, and who does not?: a qualitative study of college students in South Korea

  • BACKGROUND/OBJECTIVES: Unhealthy food choices among young adults are common globally, and the incidence of chronic diseases, such as obesity, is rising. Food literacy (FL) is important for improving and maintaining individual health in a rapidly changing food environment and can form the basis for following a sustainable diet. Therefore, it is essential to improve FL among young adults, particularly college students, who are in the formative years of their lifelong food habits. This study examined the facilitators and barriers of FL and related dietary behavior among college students in South Korea. SUBJECTS/METHODS: This study recruited 25 college students with different residence types using convenience and snowball sampling. In-person, telephone, and video interviews were conducted from March to November 2021. The interview data were analyzed using framework analysis based on the socio-ecological model. RESULTS: At the individual level, prior good experiences with food were the most frequently mentioned facilitator. In contrast, the major barriers were a lack of knowledge, financial hardship, irregular schedules, and academic stress. At the interpersonal level, the influences of family and peers, such as early exposure to healthy eating habits and opportunities to have easy accessibility to farms and farming, are major facilitators, but the lack of a sense of community was the major barrier. At the environmental level, the major barriers were unfavorable food environments at home and in neighborhoods, such as the absence of kitchens in housing and large packaging of produce at markets. CONCLUSIONS: Many factors affected the students' FL and related healthy eating practices. These findings suggest that a campus-based FL program should be developed by reflecting on these facilitators and barriers.
