According to an analysis of 560 foreign-invested companies investing in South Korea's manufacturing industry, the following three facts were found. First, the proportion of sales by manufacturing foreign-invested companies is divided into 68.5 percent of domestic sales and 31.5 percent of exports. From 68.5 percent of domestic sales, sales to Korean companies are 60.5 percent, including 37.1 percent for large companies and 23.4 percent for small and medium-sized companies, while only 8.0 percent for domestic consumers. Second, the investment sectors of manufacturing foreign-invested enterprises are 'machine and equipment manufacturing', 'chemical and chemical-chemical material manufacturing-excluding pharmaceuticals', 'electronic components, computers, video, sound and communication equipment manufacturing' and 'vehicle and trailer manufacturing'. It overlaps with electric·electronics, petro-chemicals and automobiles, which are Korea's main industries and areas of Korean global companies. Third, 31.5 percent of the sales of foreign-invested companies in the manufacturing sector are exported. Foreign-invested companies export their products to use them for their parents or affiliates or to the third countries. The analysis shows that foreign-invested companies invested in Korea for B2B transactions with Korean companies. The implications are that Korea can attract foreign investments by utilizing Korean companies' demand for intermediate goods. Foreign-invested companies can invest in Korea in order to use Korea, which has signed free trade agreements with the US, the EU and ASEAN, as an export platform.

This thesis is a study of content development utilizing media outlets to date through digital humans. The trend of global content is that the video content industry, including the character business, is growing. Lil Michela, who was selected as one of the 25 most influential people on the Internet by Time magazine in 2018, Nasua, who appeared in a SK Telecom commercial, and Rosie, who appeared in a Shinhan Bank commercial, are representative. Digital humans, which are driving new content, are computer-generated human characters with various characteristics and are referred to as virtual humans, metahumans, and cyber humans. With the rise of the metaverse after COVID-19, digital humans are being utilized in various forms such as media and marketing as an element of visual content. In the form of media, we can see that the boundaries between the offline and digital worlds are converging, and in the form of marketing, we can see that digital humans connect consumers and products more naturally. In the form of interaction, it is possible to achieve two-way communication through various methods of operation, and through these factors, it is possible to go beyond behavioral communication in the form of memorialization to emotional communication through AI technology. What can be seen through these processes is that through the currently developing digital human production methods and AI functions, not only experts but also non-experts can create quality contents, and new directions of contents will appear, and contents that can provide immediate feedback by bringing consumers and creators closer together have been studied.

Live streaming commerce has emerged as an innovative e-commerce model. This study, based on the Elaboration Likelihood Model (ELM), aims to explore the impact of Key Opinion Consumers' (KOCs) attributes in live streaming commerce on purchase intentions on short video platforms. A survey was conducted with 411 consumers, and data analysis and hypothesis testing were performed using SPSS 24.0 and AMOS 23.0 software. Research has found that differences in consumers' information processing abilities lead to different pathway selections. Central route factors such as recommendation consistency, product involvement, and professionalism, as well as peripheral route factors such as recommendation timeliness, all have significant positive effects on consumers' purchase intention. However, visual cues in the peripheral route do not have a significant impact. This study aims to provide theoretical support and practical guidance for the development of the live streaming commerce industry, and to help companies adjust their promotion strategies based on differences in consumer information processing, thereby improving purchase conversion rates.
Due to technological advancements in viewing devices and the COVID-19 pandemic, a lot of OTT-only content is being produced and distributed as people shift from traditional movie theater viewing and broadcasters' fixed TV viewing to free-form OTT viewing using wired and wireless internet. As a result, the ability to leverage data from OTT audiences has become critical to the competitiveness of the industry. However, third parties other than OTT content providers are facing difficulties in acquiring OTT viewer data. In this paper, as a way to overcome the shortcomings of existing viewer data acquisition, we propose a method to extract audio and video data by developing an OTT viewing data acquisition agent using Web APIs by adopting a web browser environment that does not affect the performance of OS and viewing devices, so that third-party companies that need viewing data can utilize it.
The purpose of this study is to supply evidences through scoping review of educational intervention studies for donning and doffing PPE to prevent healthcare-associated infection provided to nurses and student nurses in Korea. Through the search engines RISS, KISS, and DBpia, 12 articles were chosen by searching through theses and journals which were published before May 1, 2024. According to the study result, relevant studies were 12, and the education programs provided to donning and doffing PPE to prevent healthcare-associated infection were classified into 1) simulation based education, 2) video and practice based education, and 3) non-contact education. Knowledge, performance confidence, self-efficacy, performance, attitude, and awareness were confirmed as effects of the intervention. Based on the results of this study, there is necessity to develop more diverse teaching and learning methods and evaluation methods for donning and doffing PPE that can prevent healthcare-associated infection in infectious disease and emerging infectious disease situations, and repeatedly conduct research on educational intervention for donning and doffing PPE.

OTT, transcending traditional set-top boxes, signifies a burgeoning platform that facilitates real-time video content streaming on user-friendly devices via the internet, thereby supplanting TV and movie services. This study aims to enhance the sustainability of OTT platforms in the highly competitive OTT industry by emphasizing the value of personalization and socialization in OTT services.The study focused on adult consumers using OTT services, securing 340 samples through an online survey for hypothesis testing. The hypothesis testing results suggest increased consumers' hedonic and functional value due to the content richness, content recommendation, and device diversity on OTT. Additionally, these values and social values have amplified the continuous usage intention. Furthermore, social value interacts with hedonic and functional values, enhancing the intention for continuous usage. Similarly, the susceptibility to informational influence also interacts with social value, reinforcing this usage intention. This study elucidates the value factors desired by OTT consumers, suggesting strategies for value enhancement at both platform and individual levels, thereby aiding in developing tailored strategies for OTT platforms to cater to consumer needs.

The rapid expansion of the real-time streaming industry is driven by the widespread adoption of portable devices and the growth of video platforms. Consequently, the demand for transmitting and receiving large volumes of content has increased, leading to traffic congestion and inefficiency in traditional IP address-based networks. To address these issues, Contents Centric Networking (CCN) is being researched as an alternative. CCN is a network architecture based on content names (what) rather than IP addresses (where), where each node has a cache space called Content Store (CS) to alleviate server bottlenecks and traffic congestion. However, in a CCN environment, the departure of intermediate nodes between clients and servers can lead to packet loss and degradation of service quality. Therefore, research on managing the departure of intermediate nodes in real-time environments is essential. This study proposes a new method for detecting the departure of intermediate nodes through RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indicator) monitoring and for efficiently creating backup paths.

Purpose: Clinical practicums via non-face-to-face methods were inevitable due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We developed an online program for emergency nursing care and identified the feasibility of the program and the learning achievements of students. Methods: This was a methodological study. The program was developed by three professors who taught theory and clinical practicum for adult nursing care and clinical experts. Students received four hours of video content and two task activities every week in four-week program. Real-time interactive video conferences were included. Qualitative and qualitative data were collected. Results: A total of 96 students participated in the program. The mean score for overall satisfaction with the online program was 4.72(±1.02) out of 6. Subjects that generally had high learning achievement scores were basic life support care, fall prevention, nursing documentation, infection control, and anaphylaxis care. As a result of a content analysis of 77 reflective logs on the advantages of this program, students reported that "experience in applying nursing process," "case-based learning and teaching method," and "No time and space constraints" were the program's best features. Conclusion: Collaboration between hospitals and universities for nursing is more important than ever to develop online content for effective clinical practicum.

This study explores the process of the actual content production and distribution, by creating a YouTube channel to promote the popular music contents produced by the researcher, which thus reflects the reality where the production of video contents rapidly increases. A YouTube channel titled "Alida Music", of which the focus was to promote indie musicians, was created on February 2019. The contents of 10 indie musicians were produced in one-take live format. The information of the indie musicians was displayed in the form of a screen business card, with their e-mail address and SNS account at the top. Therefore, this promotional design was named "Card Live". Promotional video contents marked with the QR code in the lower right on the screen were produced, along with the promotional phrase "Communicate directly with the artist through the QR code", which allows viewers to watch other contents of the indie musician when they scan the QR code. This research conducted a study on how to improve and promote "Card Live" contents of "Alida Music", which were produced through this process. A group interview targeting five indie musicians, among whom one participant deemed significant was selected to conduct a one-to-one in-depth interview. As a result of the study, the following three conclusions were drawn. First, YouTube was found to be the medium with the greatest influence and highest efficiency at the lowest cost. Second, the evaluation of the participants on "Card Live" were divided into the three categories: need for one-take live, the design elements of "Card Live", and scanning issues of the QR code. Third, there is a need for promotional methods that can effectively utilize the media aspects of YouTube: the channel management issues such as raising public awareness as well as the number of subscribers of "Alida Music" should be resolved and measures to effectively use various media including other SNS should be developed. In terms of its content, it is imperative to recruit diverse performers to make various contents, as well as to come up with ways to link "Card Live" contents with offline. Based on these results, "Card Live" contents should be further revised and complemented in order to provide interesting contents to consumers, which will further develop "Alida Music" as a platform where various musicians and companies meet, thereby inducing contracts with popular music agencies and generating advertising revenues. However, since this study was carried out only with the limited number of participants, future studies should include more participants to bring forth a variety of promotional plans and improvement measures. Also, in the era of consuming contents through smart devices, the fact that some features of "Card Live" were available only on PC, did not fully reflect the characteristics of the times. In the future research, various contents that smartphone users can access and view freely without PC should be produced.

In this study, the factors influencing the satisfaction of the online platform musical viewing method were investigated, and the effect of the satisfaction factors on the recommendation intention and rewatching intention of the online platform viewing method for musicals was investigated. In addition, the effect of the survey subjects' degree of involvement to musicals between the satisfaction of the online platform-based musical viewing method and recommendation intention, and rewatching intention was investigated. Satisfaction factors of online platform musicals, which are independent variables, were classified into image quality, convenience, economy, and interactivity, and dependent variables were classified into recommendation intention and rewatching intention of online platform musicals, and moderator variable was set to degree of involvement to musicals, and a total of 20 hypotheses were established. An online survey was conducted on 1,454 audiences who had experience watching musicals through the online platform from August 28 to September 7, 2021, and a total of 1,418 answers were used as valid samples. As a result of the analysis, the factors that make up the satisfaction of online platform musicals appeared in the order of convenience, video quality, economics, and interactivity. It was found that the satisfaction level of watching online platform musicals had a positive effect on the intention to recommend and rewatching online platform musicals in the path of all satisfaction factors. It was found that the moderating effect of the audience's involvement in musicals between online platform musical viewing satisfaction and recommendation intention and rewatching intention had a significant effect only between image quality and recommendation intention. It shows that audiences with high involvement in musicals have intention to recommend only when they are satisfied with the video quality of online platform musicals. Particularly important point is that the convenience factor was found to have the greatest influence on the satisfaction of online platform musical viewing method, but the image quality factor was found to have the greatest influence on the recommendation intention and rewatching intention of online platform musicals.
