실측진동파형을 이용한 비탈면 발파진동 해석 사례 (A Case Study on the Blasting Analysis of Slope Using Monitored Vibration Waveform)

  • 화약을 이용한 지반굴착은 진동 및 소음 등의 공해가 필연적으로 수반되기 때문에 민원발생 및 주변 구조물에 영향을 미칠 수 있다. 특히, 발파작업 구간 부근에 지장물이 위치하게 되는 경우, 발파진동에 대한 안정성 평가는 매우 중요한 항목이 된다 발파진동안정성 평가 시 기존에는 시험발파를 통하여 대상지역의 발파진동식을 추정하고, 거리 및 장약량을 고려한 단순평가법이 많이 사용되어 왔으나, 이는 대상지역의 지형 및 지반조건을 현실적으로 고려하지 못한 방법이다 이를 보완하기 위해 최근에는 대상지역의 지형 및 지반조건을 연속체 또는 불연속체로 모사한 동적수치해석법이 적용되고 있다. 일반적으로 터널이나 비탈면 발파진동 수치해석시에는 다수의 발파공 모델링이 현실적으로 거의 불가능하여, 단일발파공, 특히 심발공에서 추정된 발파압력을 최종 굴착면에서의 등가압력으로 환산하여 발파하중으로 적용하게 된다. 이와 같은 이론적인 계산식이나 경험식에 의해 추정된 발파압력을 이용한 방법은 단일 발파공에서의 폭발압력에 대해 연구된 결과로서, 폭발상태를 이상적인 것으로 가정하고 폭발에너지를 구하게 된다. 따라서, 최종 굴착면에 적용된 등가압력은 지반조건을 고려하지 못하여 동일한 단면 및 발파조건에서는 동일한 발파하중이 산정된다. 즉, 기존의 발파하중 산정법은 대상지역의 지반조건을 고려하지 못하여, 해석결과의 신뢰도를 저하시키는 원인이 된다. 본 사례연구에서는 발파하중 산정 및 해석결과의 신뢰도를 제고하기 위하여, 대상지역의 시험발파시 획득된 실측진동파형을 이용한 발파하중 산정법을 통하여 비탈면 발파굴착시 주변 지장물의 안정성 평가를 수행하였다.

바이스펙트럼 해석을 이용한 생체조직 내에서의 진동의 비선형 전파특성 계측 (Measurement of Nonlinear Propagation Characteristics of Vibration in the Tissue Using Bispectral Analysis)

  • It is well known that nonlinear propagation characteristics of the wave in the tissue may give very useful information for the medical diagnoisis. In this paper, a new method to detect nonlinear propa gation characteristics of the internal vibration in the tissue for the low frequency mechanical vibra lion by using bispectral analysis is proposed. In the method, low frequency vibration of $f_0(=100Hz)$ is applied on the surface of the object, and the waveform of the internal vibration ${\times}{\;}(t)$ is measured from Doppler frequency modulation of silmultaneously transmitted probing ultrasonic waves. Then, the bispectra of the signal ${\times}{\;}(t.)$ at the frequencies ($f_0,{\;}f_0$) and ($f_0,{\;}2f_0$) are calculated to estimate the nonlinear propagation characteristics as their magnitude ratio, where since bispectrum is free from the gallssian additive noise we can get the value with high S/N. Basic experimental system is con structed by using 3.0 MHz probing ultrasonic waves and the several experiments are carried out for some phantoms. Results show the superiority of the proposed method to the conventional method using power spectrum and also its usefulness for the tissue characterization.

  • The measured vibration on a machine or a structure is shaped by the excitation waveform and the path transfer function. Mechanism diagnostics tends to focus on retrieving source featurce by minimzing the effects of the structural path, while in structural diagnostics we are more interested in minimizing source effects and retrieving path parameters. In structural diagnostics, therefore, there are experimental issues of gathering data that are independent source effects and finding a transfer function signature that reveals structural defects. This paper describes how the transfer function can be obtained more accurately by experiment using the compatibility relationship which is newly discovered.

  • Community noise has been great concerned in public. A traffic noise from a road or a railway has affected too mush damage on quiet living environment. In this paper, a measured noise signal on a street has been applied to extract a noise source and a path by using a complex cepstrum. An example shows that the waveform of the source and the path could be separated if a temporal windowing is properly applied.

  • The sensor configuration of the magnetostrictive guided wave system can be described as a single continuous transducing element which makes it difficult to separate the individual modes from the reflected signal. In this work we develop the mode decomposition technique employing chirplet transform, which is able to separate the individual modes from dispersive and multimodal waveform measured with the magnetostrictive sensor, and to estimate the time-frequency centers and individual energies of the reflection, which would be used to locate and characterize defects. The reflection coefficients are calculated using the modal energies of the separated mode. Results from experimental results on a carbon steel pipe are presented, which show that the accurate and quantitative defect characterization could become enabled using the proposed technique.

  • MS 지발 전기뇌관을 사용하는 발파형태에 있어 파형은 거리와 주파수 정도에 따라 인접 단차 간 간섭의 정도가 상이하다. 이 간섭의 정도는 계측지점에서 발파진동의 크기에 영향을 미친다. 본 연구에서는 40ms 간격으로 분리되어 기폭되는 MS 지발 발파의 협동장약 특성을 고찰하고 MS지발 발파에서 발파진동의 협력을 최소화 할 수 있는 주파수에 따른 시차 설계 방법을 제시하였다.

Simulation results on a carbon steel pipe are presented, which show the accurate mode separation and more discernible time-frequency representation could become enabled using the proposed technique.

  • In this work we use the mode decomposition technique employing chirplet transform, which is able to separate the individual modes from dispersive and multimodal waveform measured with the magnetostrictive sensor. The mode decomposition technique is also used to estimate the time-frequency centers and individual energies of the reflection, which would be used to locate and characterize axial defects. The arrival times of the separated modes are calculated and the axial defect lengths can be evaluated by using the estimated arrival time. Results from an experiment on a carbon steel pipe are presented and it is shown that the accurate and quantitative defect characterization could become enabled using the proposed technique.

The Frequency Characteristics of Elastic Wave by Crack Propagation of SiC/SiC Composites

  • We studied on the nondestructive evaluation of the elastic wave signal of SiC ceramics and SiC/SiC composite ceramics under monotonic tensile loading. The elastic wave signal of cross and unidirectional SiC/SiC composite ceramics were obtained by pencil lead method and bending test. It was applied for the time-frequency method which used by the discrete wavelet analysis algorithm. The time-frequency analysis provides time variation of each frequency component involved in a waveform, which makes it possible to evaluate the contribution of SiC fiber frequency. The results were compared with the characteristic of frequency group from SiC slurry and fiber. Based on the results, if it is possible to shift up and design as a higher frequency group, we will can make the superior material better than those of exiting SiC/SiC composites.

Study of Winding Method to Reduce Stray Loss and Stator Core Vibration of Synchronous Machine

  • The fractional slot windings are widely used in rotating machine in order to increase the flexibility of design and improve the voltage waveform. However, the MMF wave of fractional-slot windings are found to contain unique harmonic component, which are designated as even order space flux harmonics, fractional number flux harmonics, or both. They may cause stray loss and stator core vibration. This paper proposes new winding methods "novel interspersed windings" and "expanded group windings" to reduce these harmonics. The advantages of two proposed windings are verified by using numerical analysis and measurement test of winding model.
