저주파 가진 성형의 특성 분석 (Characteristic analysis of low frequency vibration forming)

  • In this paper, the low frequency vibration forming system is developed for micro-patterns formation on the metal substrate. many researchers have studied about micro-forming technologies such as micro deep drawing, press forming, forging, extrusion etc. for the formation of precise micro-patterns on the surface of metal substrates, multi-step forming process must be used to improve qualifies of the deformed patterns. Since the low frequency vibration forming system could easily deform the surface of metal substrates, several steps of multi-step forming process should be removed by using the low frequency vibration forming system. In order to find optimal process conditions, we have carried out low frequency vibration forming process with varying the vibration frequency from 110Hz to 500Hz.

  • Most of studies, using ESPI method, have handled tension, thermal and vibration analysis, and is limited to isotropic materials. However, tension and vibration simultaneously are loaded in real structure. Also, almost study using ESPI method is locally limited to the analysis on the isotropic materials and a few studies on the anisotropic materials have reported. Existing methods, such as the accelerometer method and FEA method, to analyze vibration have some disadvantages. Using the accelerometer method that is generally used to analyze vibration phenomena, it is impossible to analyze vibration on the oscillating body and one can observe no vibration mode shape during experiment. In case of the FEA method, it is difficult to define boundary conditions correctly if the shape of a body tested is complex, and one can just obtain vibration mode shapes on the peak amplitude in each modes. In this study, plane plate of stainless steel(STS304), isotropic material, that is used as structural steel is analyzed about vibration characteristics under tension. Also, in the study of stainless steel, the characteristics of composite material(AS4/PEEK) used as high strength structural material in aircraft is evaluated about vibration under tension, and studies the effect of tension on vibration.

ESPI를 이용한 광학식 정밀 계측 기술 (Optical technique of precision measurement using Electronic Speckle Pattern Interferometry)

  • 본 연구에서는 광학식 계측 기술인 ESPI에서 면외변위인 물체의 진동에 대한 분석을 수행하였다. 진동하는 물체는 고유한 노달 라인을 가지게 된다. 따라서 이를 분석함으로써 진동하는 물체에 대한 정보를 얻을 수 있다. 측정 물체로 스피커와 외팔보 평판을 사용하였으며, 이를 시간 평균 ESPI로 정성적으로 분석하였다. 본 연구의 실험 결과로 스피커에서는 진동 주파수 550Hz와 진폭 570mV에서 저차 모드 간섭무늬가 나타났으며, 진동 주파수 950Hz와 진폭 570mV에서 고차 모드 간섭무늬가 나타났다. 이러한 ESPI는 측정에 레이저를 이용하기 때문에 비파괴, 비접촉 검사이며, 높은 분해능을 가진다. 또한 레이저가 조사되는 영역이 측정 영역이 되므로 측정 물체의 크기에 제한되지 않는다.
