High power density on-board power supply is implemented by using flat transformer. In the high frequency switching converters, large leakage inductance increases the switching stress and duty cycle loss, which sometimes limits maximum switching frequency. The flat transformer is designed by using special core structure, which has very low profile and low temperature rise since the thermal loading is spread evenly over a larger area. 100W, 3.3V output on board supply is built and tested and 50.7W/$\textrm{inch}^{3}$ power density is achieved.

The experiment was conducted to predict air movements and to analyzxe the ventilation characteristics in ventilated greenhouse. Relatively high wind velocity was checked near windward inlet, but near leeward outlet and indoor very low wind velocity near to zero was checked . Despite of much influent air, indoor temperature was watched as high values uniformly due to inadequate air flow in greenhouse and low ventilation efficiency of the greenhouse.
This paper describes an experiment of detecting a temperature and components of arc plasma of electrical circuit breaker with a spectroscopic system. The system includes an optical fiber, a monochromator which has three gratings from low to high resolution and ICCD of which time resolution is 50 ns. This system enables measuring a temperature and components of arc plasma of a circuit breaker which is generated and extinguished in a few ms. We use a Planck's law and Boltzmann Plot method for calculating a temperature of arc plasma. A Xenon lamp is used for calibrating the system and this is very important for calculating a temperature of arc plasma. In this study, Arc plasma of Ag and Cu contact was investigated and these represent the contact of low voltage and extra-ultra high voltage circuit breaker, respectively. 8 $kA_{rms}$ test current was applied with a capacitor bank.
We have studied the magnetization in fields up to 1T at 5K, the saturation magnetization dependence on temperature and the temperature dependence of AC-susceptibility at very low fields (5mOe to 50mOe) of glassy $Fe_{91-x}Zr_{7}B_{2}Ni_{x}$ (x = 0, 5, 10, 15) alloys. The temperature dependence of the magnetization follows the predictions of spin wave excitations with long wavelengths. At zero Ni concentration there is a clear competition between ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic interactions giving rise to spin-glass behaviour. The addition of Ni drastically modifies the magnetic properties: the antiferromagnetic exchange coupling is reduced and finally disappears, the spin wave stiffness increases from 39.5 to $87.3\;meV{\AA}^{2}$ and To increases from 230 K to 478 K. We develop a simple model to quantify the competing interactions and to relate the antiferromagnetically coupled Fe moments to the Ni concentration. We find that the initial susceptibility increases with increasing Ni content along with a decrease of the temperature dependence.
BACKGROUND: Kale (Brassica oleracea) biosynthesizes various phytochemicals including glucosinolates, flavonoids, and carotenoids. Phytochemicals of plants are influenced by light, temperature, carbon dioxide, and growing conditions. Specifically, carotenoids are affected by temperature, light, and oxygen. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of cold stress (day/night: $25^{\circ}C/20^{\circ}C$, $20^{\circ}C/15^{\circ}C$, $15^{\circ}C/10^{\circ}C$) on carotenoids in kale leaves. METHODS AND RESULTS: Kale was grown in pots for up to 50 days after sowing (DAS) in a greenhouse. For cold acclimation experiments, kale grown in growth chambers for 3 days and was subjected to low temperature for 4 days. The conditions maintained in the growth chambers were as follows: photoperiod, 12/12 h (day/night); light, fluorescent; and relative humidity, 60%. Carotenoid (lutein, ${\alpha}-carotene$, zeaxanthin, ${\beta}-carotene$) contents were analyzed by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). The total carotenoid content gradually increased during cold acclimation for 3 days. When kale was subjected to cold stress, the total carotenoid content was high at $25^{\circ}C/20^{\circ}C$ treatment, but low at $15^{\circ}C/10^{\circ}C$ treatment. The total carotenoid content of kale leaves continuously grown in greenhouse decreased from 50 to 57 DAS (1,418 and 1,160 mgkg-1 dry wt., respectively). The lutein, ${\alpha}-carotene$, and ${\beta}-carotene$ contents were very low and the zeaxanthin contents were very high at $15^{\circ}C/10^{\circ}C$ treatment. When kale was subjected to cold stress, the ratio of individual to the total carotenoid contents of kale leaves was 4553% for -carotene and 210% for zeaxanthin. CONCLUSION: The ${\beta}-carotene$ and zeaxanthin contents in kale leaves indicate their sensitiveness toward cold stress.

The International Maritime Organization (IMO) has confirmed a global limit of 0.5 % for sulfur in fuel oil used on board ships with effect from January 1, 2020. Among various alternatives to respond to these regulations on sulfur content in fuel oil, such as LNG ships, SOx scrubbers, and very-low-sulfur fuel oil (VLSFO). VLSFO is preferred owing to its low investment costs. As more ships are expected to use VLSFO, VLSFO spills are expected to increase. In particular, when the seawater temperature is below the pour point of VLSFO, VLSFO solidifies when it is spilled, which makes controlling spills difficult. In this study, six types of VLSFO produced in Korea and one type of high-sulfur fuel oil (MF380) were compared in terms of the dispersibility of dispersants according to the seawater temperature conditions. The results confirmed that the six type of VLSFO did not satisfy the domestic standards for dispersant rate (60 % or more for 0.5 min, 20 % or more for 10 min). Morever, the dispersant rate of the six types of VLSFO was low compared with that of the high-sulfur fuel oil. The results of this study are expected to be used to set the direction of dispersant control in the case of VLSFO spills.
A pressure sensor for high temperature was fabricated by using a SDB(Silicon-Direct-Bonding) wafer with a Si/$SiO_{2}$/ Si structure. High pressure sensitivity was shown from the sensor using a single crystal silicon of the first layer as a piezoresistive layer. It also was made feasible to use under the high temperature as of over $120^{\circ}C$, which is generally known as the critical temperature for the general silicon sensor, by isolating the piezoresistive layer dielectrically and thermally from the silicon substrate with a silicon dioxide layer of the second layer. The pressure sensor fabricated in this research showed very high sensitivity as of $183.6{\mu}V/V{\cdot}kPa$, and its characteristics also showed an excellent linearity with low hysteresis. This sensor was usable up to the high temperature range of $300^{\circ}C$.

According to the domestic specification, the curing of the specimen for strength management used to determine the time of the mold deformity of the structure concrete in early spring and early autumn is cured in the field structure condition. However, when the seal curing is performed in the field, the temperature of the specimen is very low compared to the temperature of the actual structure, so the strength of the structure concrete predicted based on the strength of the specimen is much undervalued than the actual one, which causes the mold to be deformed. Therefore, this study analyzed the temperature history and compressive strength characteristics of the specimen for strength management through other sealing curing at 5℃ and concrete of the actual structure, and presented the most suitable curing method.
Generally, the rainfall and the influent of wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs) have strong relationship at the case of combined sewers. With the fact that the influent variations in terms of quantity and sewage quality is the most common and significant disturbance, the impact factor to the characteristics of sewage should be searched for. In this paper, the relationship between weather conditions such as humidity, temperature and rainfall and influent flowrate and contaminant concentration was analysed using factor analysis. Additionally, 3 influent types were deduced using cluster analysis and the distributions of operational variables were compared to the each groups by one-way ANOVA. The applied dataset were clustered to three groups that have the similar weather and influent conditions. These different conditions can cause the different operating conditions at WWTPs. That is, the Group 1 is for the condition with high humidity and rainfall, so DO concentration in the reactor was very high but MLSS concentration was very low because of too large flowrate. However, the Group 3 is classified to the case having low humidity, temperature, and rainfall, therefore, the SRT was the longest and the SVI was the highest due to the worst settleability in the winter for a year.
This study reports the effects of $H_2S$ gas concentration on the properties of $Cu_2ZnSnS_4(CZTS)$ thin films. Specifically, sulfurization process with low $H_2S$ concentrations of 0.05% and 0.1%, along with 5% $H_2S$ gas, was studied. CZTS films were directly synthesized on Mo/Si substrates by chemical bath deposition method using copper sulfate, zinc sulfate heptahydrate, tin chloride dihydrate, and sodium thiosulfate pentahydrate. Smooth CZTS films were grown on substrates at optimized chemical bath deposition condition. The CZTS films sulfurized at low $H_2S$ concentrations of 0.05 % and 0.1% showed very rough and porous film morphology, whereas the film sulfurized at 5% $H_2S$ yielded a very smooth and dense film morphology. The CZTS films were fully crystallized in kesterite crystal form when they were sulfurized at $500^{\circ}C$ for 1 h. The kesterite CZTS film showed a reasonably good room-temperature photoluminescence spectrum that peaked in a range of 1.4 eV to 1.5 eV, consistent with the optimal bandgap for CZTS solar cell applications.
