배면침하 영향을 고려한 보강토 옹벽의 I형 연결시스템 강도 평가 (Strength Evaluation of I-Type Connecting System on a Segmental Retaining Reinforced Wall Consideration the Backfill Settlement)

  • 본 연구에서는 기존의 보강토 옹벽의 주요부재인 블록과 지오그리드간의 문제점인 파손을 최소화하고 배면지반의 수직변위를 허용한 I형 연결판을 사용해 적용성을 살펴보았다. 접속방법의 변화로 지오그리드를 약 700mm경감시킬 수 있었으며, 실내역학 실험을 통해 연결부의 연결강도는 실험에 사용한 지오그리드의 최대광폭인장강도의 53%로 나타났다. 이는 실내실험의 한정된 모사로 인한 결과로 현장조건에서 지지부재의 역할을 고려할 때 우수한 연결강도를 나타낼 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

주기적인 상부 외란이 인가되는 2축 도립 진자의 자세 제어 (The Attitude Control of The Double Inverted Pendulum with Periodic Upper Disturbance)

  • The attitude control of a double inverted pendulum with a periodical disturbance at link top is dealt in this paper. The proposed system is consisted of the double inverted pendulum and a disturbance link. The lower link is hinged on the plate to free for rotation in the vertical plane. The upper link is connected to the lower link through a DC motor. The DC motor is used to control the posture of the pendulum by adjusting the position of the upper link. The periodical disturbance can be generated by the additional link attached at the end of link 2 through another DC motor, which is the modeling of a posture for a biped supporting with one leg. The motor for the joint simulates the knee joint(or hip joint) and the disturbance for the legs moving in air. The algorithm for controlling a proposed inverted pendulum is consisted of a state feedback control and a fuzzy logic controller. The fuzzy controller keeps the center of gravity of the biped within the specified range through the nonlinear feedback compensator. The state feedback control takes over the role to maintain a desired posture regardless the disturbance at the link top. In these case, the change of the angle and COG of an upper link is compensated with on-line. Simulations with a mathematical model are conducted to show the validity of the proposed controller.

  • 주상복합건물의 구조시스템은 휨변형에 의해 횡력에 저항하는 전단벽 구조와 전단변형에 의해 저항하는 라멘구조의 복합구조로 이루어져 있으며, 이 두 구조의 원활한 힘의 전달을 위하여 전이층에 주로 춤이 큰 보를 사용한다. 주상복합건물은 이러한 큰 질량과 강성을 갖는 전이층으로 인하여 유한요소법에 의한 해석 시 동적 해석을 수행하여야 하며, 일반적인 해석 절차로는 해결하기 어려운 많은 문제점을 야기한다. 일반적으로 주상복한건물의 해석시 전이층 바닥판은 강막을 적용하거나 판요소로 직접 입력하나 적절한 평가없이 사용되고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 강막 적용에 따른 영향을 평가하여 올바른 해석 방법을 제시한다.

Improved HSDT accounting for effect of thickness stretching in advanced composite plates

  • In this article, a higher shear deformation theory (HSDT) is improved to consider the influence of thickness stretching in functionally graded (FG) plates. The proposed HSDT has fewer numbers of variables and equations of motion than the first-order shear deformation theory (FSDT), but considers the transverse shear deformation influences without requiring shear correction coefficients. The kinematic of the present improved HSDT is modified by considering undetermined integral terms in in-plane displacements and a parabolic distribution of the vertical displacement within the thickness, and consequently, the thickness stretching influence is taken into account. Analytical solutions of simply supported FG plates are found, and the computed results are compared with 3D solutions and those generated by other HSDTs. Verification examples demonstrate that the developed theory is not only more accurate than the refined plate theory, but also comparable with the HSDTs which use more number of variables.

옵셋 스트립 휜 삽입 오일쿨러의 열전달에 관한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on Heat Transfer Characteristics of Oil Cooler Inserted Offset Strip Fin)

  • In this study, single-phase heat transfer experiments were conducted with oil cooler with offset strip fin using water. An experimental water loop has been developed to measure the single-phase heat transfer coefficient in a vertical oil cooler. Downflow of hot water in one channel receives heal from the cold water upflow of water in the other channel. Similar to the case of a plate heat exchanger, even at a very low Reynolds number, the flow in the on cooler with offset strip fin remains turbulent. The present data show that the heat transfer coefficient increases with the Reynolds number. Based. On the present data, empirical correlation of the heat transfer coefficient was proposed. Also, performance prediction analysis for oil cooler were executed and compared with experiments. ${\varepsilon}-NTU$ method was used in this prediction program. Independent variables are flow rates and inlet temperature. Compared with experimental data, the accuracy of the program is within the error bounds of ${\pm}5$% in the heat transfer rate.

KSR-III 매니폴드의 추진제 분사균일성 해석

  • 3단형 과학로켓의 주엔진 추진제의 분사균일성에 대하여 수치해석을 수행하고 설계 개선안을 도출하였다. 분사기 유로는 동일한 압력강하를 가지는 다공성 매질로 처리하였다. 산화제와 연료 모두 공급 유로의 반대쪽에서 분사속도가 높은 것으로 예측되었으며 이는 유동정체에 따른 정압 상승에 기인한다. 산화제 매니폴드 내부의 수직분리판에 유로를 구성함으로써 매니폴드 중심과 외곽에서의 분사균일성을 향상시킬 수 있었다. 산화제 공급유로가 경사를 가지더라도 분사균일성과 압력손실에 미치는 영향은 거의 없었다. 또한 산화제/ 연료에 대한 분사속도로부터 혼합비의 분포를 예측하였다.

New estimation methodology of six complex aerodynamic admittance functions

  • This paper describes a new method for the estimation of six complex aerodynamic admittance functions. The aerodynamic admittance functions relate buffeting forces to the incoming wind turbulent components, of which the estimation accuracy affects the prediction accuracy of the buffeting response of long-span bridges. There should be two aerodynamic admittance functions corresponding to the longitudinal and vertical turbulent components, respectively, for each gust buffeting force. Therefore, there are six aerodynamic admittance functions in all for the three buffeting forces. Sears function is a complex theoretical expression for the aerodynamic admittance function for a thin airfoil. Similarly, the aerodynamic admittance functions for a bridge deck should also be complex functions. This paper presents a separated frequency-by-frequency method for estimating the six complex aerodynamic admittance functions. A new experimental methodology using an active turbulence generator is developed to measure simultaneously all the six complex aerodynamic admittance functions. Wind tunnel tests of a thin plate model and a streamlined bridge section model are conducted in turbulent flow. The six complex aerodynamic admittance functions, determined by the developed methodology are compared with the Sears functions and Davenport's formula.

정사각틀 초음파 모터의 변위 특성 (Displacement Characteristics of the Square-frame Ultrasonic Motor)

  • A novel design of a simple square-frame USM (ultrasonic motor) was proposed. The stator of the motor consists of a square-frame shape elastic body and four rectangular plate ceramics. The four ceramics were attached to inner surfaces of the square frame elastic body. The same phase voltages were applied to the ceramics on horizontal surfaces, and 90 degree phase difference voltage were applied to the ceramics on vertical surfaces. To find a model that generates elliptical motion at outside of the stator, the finite element analysis program ATILA was used. The analyzed results were compared to the experimental results. As result, the model EL10EH3ET0.5CL4 which generates the maximum elliptical displacement was chosen by analyzing the resonance mode according to changes in frequency.

트러스를 기반으로 형성된 H-벌집형 샌드위치 심재 모델의 해석적 연구 (Analytical Study of H-Honeycomb Sandwich Core Structure Model based on Truss)

  • This paper is a study of the central structural unit model of the sandwich core structure. The applied model is based on the honeycomb structure formed by the truss, the H-shaped honeycomb structure formed by adding the truss of H shape to the space of the center portion, and the honeycomb structure formed by the plate. Applied material property is AISI 304 stainless steel, which has cost effectiveness and easy to get near place. The truss diameter of the model is three different type: 1mm, 2mm and 3mm. ABAQUS software is obtained to do the analysis and applied test is quasi-static loading. Boundary conditions for the analysis are that vertical direction loading at top place without any rotation and bottom surface is fixed. The test results show that the H-truss model has the highest stiffness and yield strength. Therefore, it is hoped that more and more researching for the development of a unit model in sandwich core structure has been investigating and that the developed sandwich core model can be applied into various industrial fields such as mechanical or aerospace industries.

절곡형 전단보강근을 사용한 슬래브-기둥 접합부의 이력 거동 (Hysteretic Behavior of Slab-Column Joint Using Bended Type Shear Reinforcement)

  • 본 연구에서는 거주형 무량판 구조의 뚫림 전단을 방지하기 위한 연속 절곡된 전단 보강근을 개발하였다. 이를 적용한 슬래브-기둥 접합부에 있어 개발 전단 보강근의 뚫림 전단 성능을 평가하기 위하여, 구조 성능 실험을 수행하였다. 실험 변수는 전단보강근이 없는 경우, 개발 전단보강근을 사용한 경우, 헤드 스터드를 사용한 경우이다. 수평하중에 대한 저항성능을 평가하기 위하여 일정축력하에서의 이력 하중 실험을 수행하였다. 실험결과는 전체 변위 및 접합부 강도 등으로 평가되었다. 이러한 결과로부터, 개발된 전단보강근이 층간변위비 거동에 있어 우수한 성능을 보유함을 확인할 수 있었다.
