  • In this study a numerical method for soil-pile interaction analysis buried in multi-layered half planes is presented in frequency domain using FE-BE coupling. The total soil-pile interaction system is divided into two parts so called far field and near field beam elements are used for modeling a pile and coupled with plain strain elements for soil modeling. Boundary element formulation using the multi-layered dynamic fundamental solution is adopted to the far field and coupled with near field modeled by finite elements. In order to verify the proposed soil-pile interaction analysis method the dynamic responses of a pile on multi-layered dynamic fundamental solution is adopted to the far field and coupled with near field modeled by finite elements. In order to verify the proposed soil-pile interaction analysis method the dynamic responses of a pile on multi-layered half-planes are performed and compared with experiment results. Through this developed method the dynamic response analysis of a pile buried in multi-layered half planes can be calculated effectively in frequency domain.

  • The objective of this research is to verify the effect after development and application of a program for advance of number sense. This program presents an opportunity to explore suitable ways for the characteristics of problems by clarifying the meaning of number and operation through various thought processes, not focused on algorithm. To fulfill the objectives I developed the program for advance of number sense, and verify the effect on the improvement of number sense after applying to the developed program. As a result, it was confirm that this program was helpful to the improvement of the students' mathematical aptitude which resulted in a positive change in their attitude.

Verifying of steering performance of the steering bogie (조향대차의 곡선선로 주행시 조향성능 검토)

  • When the train is running on the small curved line, there would be severe contact between the rail and wheels, which cause noise and vibration as well as abnormal wear on the rail and the wheels. In order to solve these problems, the steering bogie has been developed. To verify steering performance of the steering bogie, steering angles of two trains, one is the advanced EMU with the steering bogie, another is a conventional EMU with the conventional bogie, were measured while running on the small curve. this comparing test shows that the steering bogie has much higher steering performance than the conventional bogie on the same curved line. To verify more performance data of the steering bogie, further testing and monitoring will be done with the advanced EMU in the test track.

  • In this paper, we introduce the concepts of multiple $L_p$ analytic Fourier-Feynman transform ($1{\leq}p$ < ${\infty})$ and a convolution product of functionals on abstract Wiener space and verify the existence of the multiple $L_p$ analytic Fourier-Feynman transform for functionls in the Fresnel class. Moreover, we verify that the Fresnel class is closed under the $L_p$ analytic Fourier-Feynman transformation and the convolution product, respectively. And we establish some relationships among the multiple $L_p$ analytic Fourier-Feynman transform and the convolution product on the Fresnel class.

Specially, RFID cannot manage emergency situations, since it is can only verify short distances.   • In this study, local dynamic characteristics of mountable PZT interfaces are numerically analyzed to verify their feasibility on impedance monitoring of the prestress-loss in tendon anchorage subsystems. Firstly, a prestressed tendon-anchorage system with mountable PZT interfaces is described. Two types of mountable interfaces which are different in geometric and boundary conditions are designed for impedance monitoring in the tendon-anchorage subsystems. Secondly, laboratory experiments are performed to evaluate the impedance monitoring via the two mountable PZT interfaces placed on the tendon-anchorage under the variation of prestress forces. Impedance features such as frequency-shifts and root-mean-square-deviations are quantified for the two PZT interfaces. Finally, local dynamic characteristics of the two PZT interfaces are numerically analyzed to verify their performances on impedance monitoring at the tendon-anchorage system. For the two PZT interfaces, the relationships between structural parameters and local vibration responses are examined by modal sensitivity analyses.

  • There are various studies on the fire suppression process but the study on second pollution from fire products is not enough yet. Therefor, in this study verify that environmentally-friendly properties($LC_{50}$) of foam extinguishing agent with increases its amount used through with Fish-Acute Toxicity Test using a fish named Misgurnus anguillicaudatus that is appointed by OECD Test Guideline. In conclusion, proven that environmentally friendly properties of the agent of hoseo university through 16 times of LC50 than that of market.

  • The purpose of this paper is to explore causal relationship between social capital and firm's performance using systems thinking analysis. In strategic networks, the relationship between the members is an important factor affecting the performance. For this reason, we study relationship between social capital and firm's performance on strategic networks. The results show: Firstly, as presented in the existing research, trust and performance are positive relationship(+) and verify the entire system on strategic networks. Secondly, due to exclusiveness and embeddedness of social capital, there is nonlinear relationship between social capital and the firm's performance. Thirdly, the key factor of firm's performance on strategic networks verify relationship dependency and trust.

  • The mutual relations and equivalence between the boundary conditions for electromagnetic waves are discussed in terms of a waveguide step. In order to verify our approach, the reflection characteristics of a rectangular waveguide step are compared with respect to the boundary conditions. The characteristics of a rectangular waveguide step are analyzed with a mode-matching technique. In order to verify our approach, convergence behaviors and electromagnetic distributions are shown.

  • Unsteady flows in a semi-induction system was investigated to verify their characteristics. A semi-induction system was designed and made to verify the Sow characteristics in an intake system. To attain an intact wave of an intake pulse, a single semi-intake system was adopted as a test rig. The system consists of an intake pipe and a rotary valve as a pulse generator, and a variable volume Helmholtz resonator. The variable volume Helmholtz resonator was mounted in the intake pipe to enhance a breathing capacity and engine performance. The phase and amplitude of the pulsating flow in an unsteady flow system were found to affect the charging capacity significantly. The behavior of pressure wave, their phase and amplitude were investigated in various regions. Some of the results obtained from experiments were described.
