차량 승차감에 미치는 공차의 영향 분석을 위한 해석적 방법 (Analytical Method to Analyze the Tolerance Effect on the Vehicle Ride Comfort)

  • Analytical method to analyze the tolerance effect on the vehicle ride comfort is suggested in this paper. Ride comfort is one of the most important performance indices which decide the vehicle design quality. In general, the ride comfort is affected by the variations of parameters of a vehicle model. Therefore, the effects of the parameters on the ride comfort need to be evaluated statistically based on the whole-body vibration of the vehicle. In this paper, weighted RMS values of the acceleration PSD of a seat position are used to define the ride comfort. The equations of motion and the sensitivity equations are derived based on a 5-DOF vehicle model. By employing the sensitivity information of the acceleration at the seat position, the tolerance effect on the vehicle ride comfort could be effectively analyzed.

  • Passengers and mounted equipments on a vehicle are exposed to the vibration when it is driven on the road. To minimize the vibration and improve the dynamic characteristics of a vehicle are important factors. Those are changed by modifying parameters of the vehicle. To save development cost and time, simulation methods using vibration model have been widely used before making the real vehicle. In this paper two aimed functions, displacement between wheels and the body and acceleration of the body, have been defined for the parameter sensitivity analysis of the large vehicle. Full Vehicle Model having 11 degrees of freedom applied to solve those issues.

사출 차량에서의 외란을 이용한 정밀 지향성 향상 연구 (A Study on Improvement of Aiming ability using Disturbance Measurement in the Firing Vehicle)

  • 지향성능은 발사차량의 정확성에 있어서 중요한 요소이다. 본 연구는 외란 가속도를 이용하여 지향구조물의 진동을 감지하는 방안과 실험 결과에 대하여 기술하였다. 주행 중 발생하는 진동 경향을 분석하기 위하여 가속도 자료를 이동평균과 힐버트 변환을 이용하여 신호 처리하였다. 다양한 외란에 대하여 가속도의 모드 계수를 얻었으며, 차량속도, 노면조건, 지향구조물의 특성을 차량 동특성의 진동을 변화시키는 요소로 간주하였다. 마지막으로 다양한 주행 조건의 진동 신호를 분류하기 위한 패턴인식에 역전파 신경망 이론을 이용하였다. 각 조건에 대하여 실험 결과를 비교 분석하였다.

차량의 둔턱 진행 모델 강제진동해석과 응답특성 (Forced Vibration Analysis and Response Characteristics of a Vehicle Dull Progress Model)

  • The forced vibration characteristics for two impulse forces with time lag was discussed in the vehicle dull progress model. Detailed numerical analyses of the time domain were performed systematically. By the two exciting impulse forces, the responses of displacement, the velocity, and the acceleration were investigated in detail for the vehicle's vibration. Notably, the forced vibration responses in the time domain can be used to identify and monitor several vehicle vibration models. In order to define the responses of displacement, the velocity, and the acceleration, we applied a numerical technique (i.e., the Runge-Kutta-Gill method[1,2]). These variables were subsequently used to analyze the vehicle's vibration according to the time lapse and while it passed over a bump stock; moreover, the characteristics of the variables were analyzed in detail according to their force conditions. Finally, the intrinsic characteristics of the forced vibration were discussed in the context of the automobile model. Overall, our results indicate that the tested method can be successfully applied under different damped conditions.

자율 주행 제어 인터페이스에 강건하며 빠르고 쉽게 적용 가능한 모델 독립식 종 방향 가속도 제어기 개발 및 성능 검증 (Model-Free Longitudinal Acceleration Controller Design and Implementation Quickly and Easily Applicable for Different Control Interfaces of Automated Vehicles Considering Unknown Disturbances)

  • This paper presents a longitudinal acceleration controller that can be applied to real vehicles (nonlinear and time-varing systems) with only a simple experiment regardless of the type of vehicle and the control interface structure. The controller consists of a feedforward term for fast response, a zero-throttle acceleration compensation term, and a feedback term (P gain) to compensate for errors in the feedforward term, and another feedback term (I gain) to respond to disturbances such as slope. In order to easily apply it to real vehicles, there are only two tuning parameters, feedforward terms of throttle and brake control. And the remaining parameters can be calculated immediately when the two parameters are decided. The tuning procedure is also unified so that it can be quickly and easily applied to various vehicles. The performance of the controller was evaluated using MATLAB/Simulink and Truksim's European Ben model. In addition, the controller was successfully implemented to 3 medium-sized vehicle (HMC Solati), which is composed of different control interface characteristic. Vehicle driving performance was evaluated on the test track and on the urban roads in Siheung and Seoul.

주행패턴의 상대 가속도에 따른 중소형 자동차의 온실가스 및 대기오염물질 배출 특성 (Greenhouse Gas and Pollutant Emission from Light-Duty Vehicles Regarding the Relative Positive Acceleration)

  • Although driving patterns strongly influence greenhouse gas and air pollutant emission rate from light duty vehicles, emission measurements have been mainly based on chassis dynamometer testing with one standard driving pattern. And there has been limited work on quantifying the independent effect of driving parameters on emission rate because of multidimensional nature of real-world driving pattern. The objective of this study is to obtain the quantitative effect of relative positive acceleration (RPA) on vehicle emission rate. RPA has been used to define the occurrence of acceleration demanding large amounts of power in certain driving distance and shown to be a significant affecting parameter for real-world emission rate. 40 driving patterns have been developed with fixed driving parameters to investigate independent effect of RPA. For the same values of average vehicle speed and power, the trend in carbon dioxide emission rate and fuel consumption with respect to RPA is very clear. Emission rate of nitrogen oxide and particulate matter also increase with respect to RPA, but the trend is less clear. Carbon dioxide emission from diesel vehicle appear to be more affected by high accelerations compared to that from gasoline vehicle because of high intake air restriction during acceleration caused by turbocharger and intercooler. The results have implications for the possible reduction of environmental effects through better traffic planning and management, driver education and car design.

  • An adaptive nonlinear observer-based longitudinal control law for vehicles is presented in this paper. It is assumed that for vehicle i knows only the distance between vehicle i and the preceding vehicle, i-1. An adaptive nonlinear state observer for vehicle i is developed to estimate the velocity and acceleration of the preceding vehicle, i-1. The communication of the position, velocity, and acceleration information is not used in the proposed method. It will be shown by mathematical analysis that the longitudinal control of vehicle can be implemented without an communication of the informations. It will be proven that the observation errors of the nonlinear states converge to zero asymptotically. To show the effectiveness of the proposed method, the simulation results are presented for the longitudinal control of the vehicle.

도시철도차량의 차륜마모에 따른 횡가속도 패턴분석 (A Study on the Lateral Acceleration Pattern by the shape of Worn Wheel for the Urban Railway Vehicle)

  • A geometric contact conditions of wheel/rail affect the dynamic behavior of rolling stock. Mechanical force acted on the wheel/rail causes excessive wear and increase the maintenance cost. In this study, we have studied the dynamic behavior of the urban railway vehicle with new and worn wheel by VAMPIRE program. And we have tested the accelerations of wheelset on the conventional line. The results of simulation are compared with the measuring data of field test. It shows that the acceleration of worn wheel is greater than the acceleration of new wheel in the straight track line but on the contrary, the acceleration of new wheel is greater than the acceleration of worn wheel in curved track. That results explain that the new wheel is worn out greater than the worn wheel in curved track line and need to be maintained more seriously when running in curved track line.

고정익 항공기의 자율 곡예비행 (Autonomous Aerobatic Flight for Fixed Wing Aircraft)

  • 고정익 항공기가 3차원의 복잡한 경로를 추종하기 위해 필요한 비교적 간단하며 효과적인 유도 제어 방법을 제시한다. 소개되는 방법은 비선형 경로 추종 유도 기법을 외부 루프로 사용한다. 외부 루프는 원하는 경로와 함께 항공기의 현재 위치와 속도를 바탕으로 비행 경로를 변화하기 위한 가속도 명령을 생성한다. 가속도 명령은 중력과 벡터적으로 결합되어 Specific Force Acceleration을 만든다. 이렇게 생성된 Specific Force Acceleration은 내부 루프를 위한 명령으로 쓰이는데, 이는 항공기가 가속도 자체보다는 Specific Force Acceleration을 더 직접적으로 제어할 수 있기 때문이다. 나아가 배면 비행이나 Slow Roll, Knife-Edge 등과 같은 옆미끄럼짐 기동을 하기 위해 필요한 롤 자세 제어 기법도 제시한다. 마지막으로 표준이 되는 여러 가지 곡예비행 경로들에 대한 시뮬레이션을 수행함으로써 제시된 기법의 성능을 검증한다.

  • 차량에서 스트러트 인슐레이터는 도로노면으로부터 발생하는 소음과 진동을 방지하는 역할을 한다. 대부분의 점탄성 마운트들은 고무로 되어있으며 천연고무가 주성분이다. 이러한 고무 부품들은 초기에는 제 역할을 하지만 오랜 시간 고온과 반복하중에 노출되면 성능저하가 일어난다. 고무성능 변화는 NVH를 떨어뜨리고 승차감을 저하시킨다. 본 연구에서는 차량실험을 통해 스프링 변위를 측정하였고, 재현실험에서 가속도 센서를 이용하여 운행거리와 차량연식에 따른 인슐레이터 고무성능을 가속도 값, 고무 영구 변형량, 경도를 나타내었다.
