  • Maglev is the vehicle which can run in levitated condition by the electro-magnets, and the vehicle can run without any contact condition. The vehicle is devided in two parts such as carbody and bogies, and the bogies are the driving device of the vehicle. There are many equipments in the bogie, and the frame endure many loads occurred in the operation of the vehicle. The bogie frame is designed and manufactured in the view of good safety and maintainability, and the engineers work to accomplish this purpose.

  • Hydroforming, the new production technology, has been used to manufacture many parts of vehicle in the recent auto industry. When Hydroforming is applied, it is possible to make parts simplification and flexible alteration of section shape in many advantages such as weight reduction, number of parts reduction or performance improvement. This research into shape optimization which reduces number of parts and weight maintaining performance was achieved. In this paper, the COWL CROSS BAA and MT'g BAKT parts of A car STEERING support SYSTEM was introduced by using Hydroforming.

  • 무인 자동차 시스템에 있어 차선추적과 물체회피 기술은 중요한 핵심기술 이다. 본 논문에서는 차량제어와 모델링, 센서 실험을 통하여 차선추적 및 물체회피 방법을 제안하고자 한다. 첫 번째 물체회피는 가/감속을 위한 종 방향 제어와 조향제어에 의한 횡 방향 제어 두 개의 부분으로 구성되어 진다. 각각의 시스템은 무인자동차의 제어를 위하여 차량의 위치, 주변환경 인식, 상황에 따른 빠른 처리를 요구한다. 차량의 제어 전략이 작동되는 동안 도로에서의 물체인식과 회피는 차량의 속도에 달려 있다. 두 번째 영상시스템을 통한 차선추석방법을 설명한다. 이 또한 두 부분으로 구성된다. 첫 번째 횡/종 제어를 위한 로도 모델이 포함된다. 두 번째 차선추적방법, 영상처리 알고리즘, 필터링 방법 및 영상처리 방법을 다룰 것이다. 마지막으로 본 논문에서는 실차실험을 통한 차선추적 및 물체회피 차량제어 및 모델링 방법을 제안한다.

The Control System Modeling and Experiment for the Tele-operated Unmanned Vehicle

  • The control system design and modeling of an unmanned vehicle by means of a new concept for better performance through a tole-operation system is suggested by sensor fusion. But, the control of a real vehicle is very difficult, because the system identification of the vehicle is hard to find the unknown factors and the disturbances of the experimental environment. For the longitudinal and lateral controls, the traction system and steering system models are set up and a tuning method to find the gain of the controller by experiments is presented. In this research, mechanical and electronic parts are implemented to operate the unmanned vehicle and data reconstruction method of information about the environment data coming from several sensors is presented by data plot for the vehicle navigation. This paper focuses on the integration of tole-operated unmanned vehicle. This vehicle mainly controlled lateral and longitudinal directions with actuators for controlling vehicle movement and sensors for the closed-loop controlled system.

  • Transfer Path Analysis (TPA) is commonly used, by car makers and parts suppliers, analysis process to root the cause of NVH problems. In general, TPA is an analyzing technique to find the contributing factors of noise/vibration problems, and their transfer path in vehicle. However, not only TPA is used to analyze the source of NVH problems but also is used to predict NVH performance prior to the proto vehicle, or to set the development target for next new vehicle. Automotive parts manufacturing companies have to set NVH performance target when developing new systems just as car makers have NVH target set for new vehicle. Nevertheless, most of components are currently being developed based on subjective evaluation without an objective target. To judge the suitability of using TPA to set NVH target of electric parking brake, this research analyzed the transfer path by setting them in two points of view; Chassis Module and Electric Parking Brake, and comparing the measured value and calculated value. From this result, NVH target of electric parking brake will be approached in level of vehicle, system and component.

  • The strength of the mounting bolt of a backing plate is investigated with field test to provide the basic data in the safety evaluation of the wheeled vehicle. As a result, during the braking performance test at a vehicle speed of 32km/h, the shearing stress of mounting bolt is 20.5kg/mm$^{2}$ because the translatory mass of the vehicle is increased 21.6 per cent to incorporate the rotating-mass effect of wheels and other permanently engaged rotating parts.

  • Hub-and-spoke transportation network is a powerful and useful network structure that takes full advantage of economies of scale on routes between hubs. In recent studies, the network structure is extended to hybrid hub-andspoke that allows direct transportation between spokes. In this study, we considered more extended network structure which is called hybrid multiple hub-and-spoke that has multiple hubs and allows direct transportation between spokes. We developed a mathematical optimization model for automotive service parts transportation planning under hybrid multiple hub-and-spoke network structure. The model suggests a long-term transportation route planning and a short-term vehicle assignment planning. The model is verified by simulation and validated in real world application to Hyundai Mobis automotive service parts transportation planning. From the simulation result, the model reduced the transportation cost about 24.7%, the total distance about 6.8% and the CO2 emissions about 8.8%. In real world application for 6 months from July to December 2010, the model reduced the transportation cost about 9.1% by changing the long-term transportation route without daily vehicle assignment planning.

  • 가시광촉매의 특성 및 가시광촉매가 코팅처리된 자동차내장재 nylon/polyester 복합섬유에 대한 VOCs의 저감에 대해 알아보았다. 가시광촉매 Weltouch의 결정구조는 아나타제상과 루타일상이 복합된 것으로 약 420nm이상의 파장을 갖는 빛에너지에서도 활성을 나타냈다. 또한 가시광촉매가 처리된 자동차내장재 nylon/polyester 복합 섬유에서 발생하는 VOCs 및 포름알데히드는 현저한 저감효과를 나타냈으며, 섬유를 25회 세탁을 행하여도 가시광촉매의 탈락없이 표면에 견고하게 부착되어 가스분해성능을 유지하는 것으로 나타나서 세탁내구성이 우수한 것을 확인하였다.

  • 전기체 복합재 무인항공기 개발을 위해 기체구조 제작과 관련만 설계시의 고려사항, 복합재 부품제작, 기체조립 업무를 요약하였다. 설계시에 제작요소를 고려하여, 일체성형, 일체접착 및 이차접착 등 복합재의 장점을 지대한 활용하기 위한 구조개념을 반영하였다. 설계된 부품을 성형하기 위만 복합재 부품 제작용 치공구를 설계 제작하였다. 비행체에 요구되는 외형 및 조립 치수 요구조건으로부터 조립치구를 설계하고 검사요구조건을 설정하여 제작에 적용하였다. 이와 같은 일련의 제작과정에 필요한 검사 항목 및 방법을 전용 규격화하여 양산품 품질보증활동에 활용할 수 있도록 기술자료화하였다.

알루미늄 디스크 브레이크의 성능 실험 및 해석에 관한 연구 (Study on Performance Experiment and Analysis of Aluminum Disc Brake)

  • The present research aims to develop aluminum disc brakes to replace existing cast iron disc brakes in automobiles. The foundation for developing an aluminum disc is laid by investigating the performance characteristics of existing cast iron disc brakes and comparing those characteristics with those of aluminum disc brakes. This study involves FEM thermal/structural analysis of disc materials and experimental tests using a brake dynamometer. The results of this study show that, aluminum discs have not only better thermal/mechanical properties than existing cast iron discs, including better heat, wear, and crack resistance, but also that aluminum discs. Weigh less than existing cast iron discs, which results in improved maneuverability. Aluminum discs will become a more essential part of automobiles as electric cars become the major means of transportation.
