사진측량에 의한 교통사고분석처리 및 활용방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on Traffic Accident Analysis Treatment and a plan Practical Use by Photogrammetry)

  • 교통사고분석처리에 있어서 거리측정기를 가지고 측정하는 것은 정확도 및 보존관계에 문제를 야기하고 있기 때문에 유럽 및 일본에서 사용하는 스테레오카메라를 사용하여 현장에서 직접 촬영하였다. 촬영 및 기준점측량의 시간을 비교하였고 입체모델에서 삼차원좌표를 측정 계산한 후 전용도화기PAMS을 이용하여 현장도를 작성하여 사고원인을 분석하였고 또한 사고차양을 모델로 하여 차양충돌후의 각도, 핸들의 방향실손양을 계산하여 사고처리에 대한 활용방안을 제시하였다.

전기철도 전원계통에서의 화재사고 사례 분석 (Analysis of Fire Accident on Power Line for DC Electric Traction Vehicles)

  • This paper describes a cause of fire accidents on power system fire DC electric traction vehicles. We investigated fire scene of power line for DC electric traction vehicles. From analysis results, the cause of fire on power line turned out line to ground fault between a feeder of electric power services(pantagraph) and DC electric traction vehicle roof. Fire accident of DC electric traction vehicles be assumed that electric sparks had been produced between the pantagraph and the power line conductor by repetitively making contact and separation, maybe if some material like branches get in between connecting rod it makes progress line to ground fault. ZnO arresters are widely used to protect DC electric traction vehicles against overvoltages caused by lightning or switching surges. However, the arresters are deteriorated by commercial overvoltages and/or lightning one. The deteriorated arresters could lead power failures, such as line to ground fault by a thermal runaway resulting from the increases in leakage current even in a nominal power system voltage. Finally, the power failures would be causative of the fire accident.

터널과 인터체인지 이격거리 설계기준에 관한 연구 (Design Guideline for Spacing between Tunnel and Interchange)

  • 터널 통과후 인터체인지가 위치하는 구간은 터널내 표지판의 설치가 불가능하며 터널 직후 시거가 불충분한 특성이 있다. 본 연구는 터널 통과후 인터체인지가 근접하여 위치하는 구간의 차량 운행특성을 분석하여, 교통안전을 고려한 적정 이격거리를 제시하였다. 터널과 인터체인지 이격구간의 차량 운행특성 지표는 사고율을 기준으로 하였으며, 총 3개 노선, 7개 지점에 대하여 1992년부터 1997년까지 교통사고자료, 교통량자료가 사용되었다. 터널과 인터체인지가 근접하여 위치하는 구간의 사고율과 이격거리와의 관계는 음의 로그함수형태, 즉 터널과 인터체인지의 이격거리가 짧을수록 높은 사고율을 보이며 이격거리가 길어지면 사고율이 줄어드는 형태를 보이는 것으로 분석되었다. 설계속도 100km/h, 편도 2차로인 고속도로에서 교통 안전을 고려시 터널과 인터체인지 적정 이격거리는 2.6km로 산출되었다.

  • The development of Technology study for preventing of accident and reducing the risk through the intelligence of level crossing is provide the detection of stopped car at railway crossing with the most advanced intelligence technology such as sensor, computer, communication and date processing and transmit to the operational staff on broad for reaction or make the train stopped automatically through the connection with train. Also this study include that showing the situation of crossing railway when the train is approached and prevent the accident and reduce the risk through the connection of road transit signal system. On this study is performed the test through the date from spot level crossing and the development of video detection algorism for stopped road transit vehicle at level crossing with intelligent system.

대형 버스의 전복 해석과 측정법 (Rollover Analysis and Measurement of a Large-sized Bus)

  • The safety problems of buses have been arisen due to the increasing of road traffic. Occupant injuries are always possible in the rollover accident and the frontal impact. Thus the structure of bus should have sufficient strength to protect passengers under accidental loads. ECE(Economic Commission for Europe) regulation No.66 prescribes that the superstructure of the vehicle shall be sufficient strength for passengers' surviving and the residual space shall be preserved in the passenger compartment during and after the standard rollover accident situation. Rollover test and simulation on a large-sized bus was completed according to the regulation. The coordinates of the points on the bus were measured by photogrammetry system. The rollover situation was revived by structural crashes simulation software, PAM-CRASH, and it was checked that the structure still complied with the requirements of residual space during rollover situation. The residual space was preserved during rollover, so it was proved that the structure of the investigated bus had much probability of survival in rollover accidents.

  • The computer simulation techniques were adopted to evaluate the effects of seating positions of passenger under various accident scenarios. The baseline of computer simulation model was tuned by the sled impact tests which conducted under the upright and standard seating positions. This study shows the effect of relative velocity between occupant and struck vehicle while occupant is impacted to a front seat's seatback. Although, base on the current accident scenarios, The KHST is performed well enough to protect average adult male occupants. However, Results from the tests indicate small size occupant or higher impact speed may cause sever neck and femur injuries.

A Study on Intelligent Railway Level Crossing System for Accident Prevention

  • Accidents at level crossing have large portion on train accidents, and causes economical loss by train delay and operational interruption. Various safety equipments are employed to reduce the accident at level crossing, but existing warning device, and crossing barrier are simple train-oriented protection equipments. In this paper, intelligent railway level crossing system is proposed to prevent and reduce accidents. For train driver's prompt action, image of level crossing and obstacle warning message are continuously provided to train driver through wireless communication in level crossing control zone. Obstacle warning messages, which are extracted by computer vision processing of captured image at level crossing, are recognized by train driver through message color, flickering and warning sound. It helps train driver to decide how to take an action. Meanwhile, for vehicle driver's attention, location and speed of approaching train are given to roadside equipments. We identified the effect of proposed system through test installation at Sea train and Airport level crossing of Yeong-dong line.

  • 최근, 사용이 급증하고 있고 중요성이 높아지고 있는 차량용 블랙박스는 이제 보다 정확하고 다양한 정보를 요구하고 있다. 그 이유는 정확한 사고원인 분석에 도움을 주고 차량관련 범죄에 객관적인 증거자료로 사용될 수 있도록 하기 위함이다. 본 논문에서는 영상과 음정 정보에만 의존하던 기존의 블랙박스가 가지고 있는 한계를 극복하고자 다양한 센서들과 차량 내부정보를 사용 하였다. 우선 차량내부 정보를 알 수 있는 OBDII 프로토콜을 사용하여 차량의 현재 상태를 저장하였으며, 또한 외부센서로는 방향각을 알 수 있는 Gyro 센서와 GPS를 사용하여 정확한 현재위치 및 차량의 방향정보를 저장하였으며 차량의 사고 전후의 이동경로 및 방향을 알 수 있으며, 정보들의 동기화를 위해서는 GPS의 시간 정보를 사용하였다. 또한 wifi망을 사용하여 정보를 백업하여 블랙박스 손상 시에도 정보를 확인 할 수 있게 하였다.
