Sport photographing by the Stereo-Camera generally used in Europ, Japan, etc was applied to the traffic-accident analysis more preferreatially than the measuring with Tape where some problems are found in its accuracy and duribility. Time for photographing and that for measuring a datum point were compared causes for accidents were analyzed by spot drawing PAMS, with a patameter of an exclusively used drawing set, after 3-dimensions were first measured and computed in Stereo-model. Also the collision-angle, the direction of the handle and the quartity of loss after a clash were computed by using a accident vehicle as a model those data was suggested as a way of potential practical the accidents at large.
This paper describes a cause of fire accidents on power system fire DC electric traction vehicles. We investigated fire scene of power line for DC electric traction vehicles. From analysis results, the cause of fire on power line turned out line to ground fault between a feeder of electric power services(pantagraph) and DC electric traction vehicle roof. Fire accident of DC electric traction vehicles be assumed that electric sparks had been produced between the pantagraph and the power line conductor by repetitively making contact and separation, maybe if some material like branches get in between connecting rod it makes progress line to ground fault. ZnO arresters are widely used to protect DC electric traction vehicles against overvoltages caused by lightning or switching surges. However, the arresters are deteriorated by commercial overvoltages and/or lightning one. The deteriorated arresters could lead power failures, such as line to ground fault by a thermal runaway resulting from the increases in leakage current even in a nominal power system voltage. Finally, the power failures would be causative of the fire accident.
Where an interchange is located just after a tunnel not only it is impossible to install the traffic signs in tunnel sections but also sufficient sight distance to identify the interchange can't be provided. The objective of this study is to suggest the safety based spacing between tunnel and interchange. For this study accident rate was used as an index representing characteristics for vehicle operation to suggest the appropriate spacing. Traffic volume and the number of accidents on freeway from 1992 to 1997 were analyzed. The relationship between accident rate and spacing represents negative logarithm function such that shorter spacing increases accident rate. An appropriate safety based spacing between tunnel and interchange for four lane freeway with the design speed of 100kph was found as 2.6km.
The development of Technology study for preventing of accident and reducing the risk through the intelligence of level crossing is provide the detection of stopped car at railway crossing with the most advanced intelligence technology such as sensor, computer, communication and date processing and transmit to the operational staff on broad for reaction or make the train stopped automatically through the connection with train. Also this study include that showing the situation of crossing railway when the train is approached and prevent the accident and reduce the risk through the connection of road transit signal system. On this study is performed the test through the date from spot level crossing and the development of video detection algorism for stopped road transit vehicle at level crossing with intelligent system.

The safety problems of buses have been arisen due to the increasing of road traffic. Occupant injuries are always possible in the rollover accident and the frontal impact. Thus the structure of bus should have sufficient strength to protect passengers under accidental loads. ECE(Economic Commission for Europe) regulation No.66 prescribes that the superstructure of the vehicle shall be sufficient strength for passengers' surviving and the residual space shall be preserved in the passenger compartment during and after the standard rollover accident situation. Rollover test and simulation on a large-sized bus was completed according to the regulation. The coordinates of the points on the bus were measured by photogrammetry system. The rollover situation was revived by structural crashes simulation software, PAM-CRASH, and it was checked that the structure still complied with the requirements of residual space during rollover situation. The residual space was preserved during rollover, so it was proved that the structure of the investigated bus had much probability of survival in rollover accidents.
The computer simulation techniques were adopted to evaluate the effects of seating positions of passenger under various accident scenarios. The baseline of computer simulation model was tuned by the sled impact tests which conducted under the upright and standard seating positions. This study shows the effect of relative velocity between occupant and struck vehicle while occupant is impacted to a front seat's seatback. Although, base on the current accident scenarios, The KHST is performed well enough to protect average adult male occupants. However, Results from the tests indicate small size occupant or higher impact speed may cause sever neck and femur injuries.

Accidents at level crossing have large portion on train accidents, and causes economical loss by train delay and operational interruption. Various safety equipments are employed to reduce the accident at level crossing, but existing warning device, and crossing barrier are simple train-oriented protection equipments. In this paper, intelligent railway level crossing system is proposed to prevent and reduce accidents. For train driver's prompt action, image of level crossing and obstacle warning message are continuously provided to train driver through wireless communication in level crossing control zone. Obstacle warning messages, which are extracted by computer vision processing of captured image at level crossing, are recognized by train driver through message color, flickering and warning sound. It helps train driver to decide how to take an action. Meanwhile, for vehicle driver's attention, location and speed of approaching train are given to roadside equipments. We identified the effect of proposed system through test installation at Sea train and Airport level crossing of Yeong-dong line.

In this paper, we are going to develop a collision accident prevention technology that automatically recognizes more than 98% of workers and obstacles in 360° around them during work/high-speed movement/cabin rotation, guides collision warning and secures the driver's viewing angle.

lately, vehicle blackbox increasing importance and usability Is needed accuracy and variety of information. because, blackbox help to analyze the exact cause of the accident and use as objective evidence in vehicle-related crime. In the paper, to overcome the limitations of the existing black box, use various sensors and vehicle information blackbox store current state of the vehicle with OBD-II protocol using vehicle state information and store exact current location and direction information of the vehicle with Gyro sensor and GPS and use global time of GPS for synchronization of information. In addition, blackbox back the information up with wifi. because, when blackbox damaged, dirvers were able to verify the information.
