HIGHEST WEIGHT VECTORS OF IRREDUCIBLE REPRESENTATIONS OF THE QUANTUM SUPERALGEBRA μq(gl(m, n))

  • The Iwahori-Hecke algebra $H_{k}$ ( $q^2$) of type A acts on the k-fold tensor product space of the natural representation of the quantum superalgebra (equation omitted)$_{q}$(gl(m, n)). We show the Hecke algebra $H_{k}$ ( $q^2$) and the quantum superalgebra (equation omitted)$_{q}$(gl(m n)) have commuting actions on the tensor product space, and determine the centralizer of each other. Using this result together with Gyoja's q-analogue of the Young symmetrizers, we construct highest weight vectors of irreducible summands of the tensor product space.

  • 본 논문에서는 3차원 사람얼굴의 굴곡표면에 대하여 특징 값들을 추출하여 회전벡터를 이용하여 회전한 후 그들을 분석, 표현하는 방법을 제안한다. 또한 실험을 통하여 정확하게 추출된 굴곡표면의 특징 값들은 3차원 사람얼굴을 세그멘테이션 하는데 적용되었다 사람얼굴의 표면은 메쉬(mesh)모델을 사용하여 파라메타를 계산, 추출하였으며, 추출된 특징 값들은 얼굴표면을 Gaussian과 Mean 곡면 분류표(classification)를 사용하여 임계 값을 사용하지 않고 3D 얼굴표면을 세그멘테이션 하였다.

Improved DT Algorithm Based Human Action Features Detection

  • The choice of the motion features influences the result of the human action recognition method directly. Many factors often influence the single feature differently, such as appearance of the human body, environment and video camera. So the accuracy of action recognition is restricted. On the bases of studying the representation and recognition of human actions, and giving fully consideration to the advantages and disadvantages of different features, the Dense Trajectories(DT) algorithm is a very classic algorithm in the field of behavior recognition feature extraction, but there are some defects in the use of optical flow images. In this paper, we will use the improved Dense Trajectories(iDT) algorithm to optimize and extract the optical flow features in the movement of human action, then we will combined with Support Vector Machine methods to identify human behavior, and use the image in the KTH database for training and testing.

  • In this paper, a new feature representation technique called Improved 2-directional 2-dimensional direct linear discriminant analysis (Improved $(2D)^2$ DLDA) is proposed. In the case of face recognition, thesmall sample size problem and need for many coefficients are often encountered. In order to solve these problems, the proposed method uses the direct LDA and 2-directional image scatter matrix. Moreover the selection method of feature vector and the method of similarity measure are proposed. The ORL face database is used to evaluate the performance of the proposed method. The experimental results show that the proposed method obtains better recognition rate and requires lesser memory than the direct LDA.

  • A hot-issued research topic in the workflow intelligence arena is the emerging topic of "workflow-supported organizational social networks." These specialized social networks have been proposed to primarily represent the process-driven work-sharing and work-collaborating relationships among the workflow-performers fulfilling a series of workflow-related operations in a workflow-supported organization. We can discover those organizational social networks, and visualize its analysis results as organizational knowledge. In this paper, we are particularly interested in how to visualize the degrees of closeness centralities among workflow-performers by proposing a graphical representation schema based on the Graph Markup Language, which is named to ccWSSN-GraphML. Additionally, we expatiate on the functional expansion of the closeness centralization formulas so as for the visualization framework to handle a group of workflow procedures (or a workflow package) with organizational workflow-performers.

Image Feature Representation Using Code Vectors for Retrieval

  • The paper presents an algorithm which uses code vectors to represent comer geometry information for searching the similar images from a database. The comers have been extracted by finding the intersections of the detected lines found using Hough transform. Taking the comer as the center coordinate, the angles of the intersecting lines are determined and are represented using code vectors. A code book has been used to code each comer geometry information and indexes to the code book are generated. For similarity measurement, the histogram of the code book indexes is used. This result in a significant small size feature matrix compared to the algorithms using color features. Experimental results show that use of code vectors is computationally efficient in similarity measurement and the comers being noise invariant produce good results in noisy environments.

파라메트릭기법을 이용한 3차원 자유곡면 생성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Freeform Surface Generation Using Parametric Method)

  • The objective of this study is to develop a PC level freeform surface modeling system which explicitly represents information of part geometry. Surface modeler uses nonuniform rational B-spline (NURBS) function with nonuniform knot vector for the flexible modeling work. The results of this study are as follows. 1) By implementation surface modeler through applying representation scheme proposed to represent free-form surface explicity, the technical foundation to develop free-from surface modeling system using parametric method. 2) Besides the role to model geometric shape of a surface, geometric modeler is developed to model arbitrary geometric shape. By doing this, the availability of the modeling system is improved. Geometric modeler can be utilized application fields such as collision test of tool and fixture, and tool path generation for NC machine tool.

New Geometric modeling method: reconstruction of surface using Reverse Engineering techniques

  • In reverse engineering area, it is rapidly developing reconstruction of surfaces from scanning or digitizing data, but geometric models of existing objects unavailable many industries. This paper describes new methodology of reverse engineering area, good strategies and important algorithms in reverse engineering area. Furthermore, proposing reconstruction of surface technique is presented. A method find base geometry and blending surface between them. Each based geometry is divided by triangular patch which are compared their normal vector for face grouping. Each group is categorized analytical surface such as a part of the cylinder, the sphere, the cone, and the plane that mean each based geometry surface. And then, each based geometry surface is implemented infinitive surface. Infinitive average surface's intersections are trimmed boundary representation model reconstruction. This method has several benefits such as the time efficiency and automatic functional modeling system in reverse engineering. Especially, it can be applied 3D scanner and 3D copier.

  • In this paper, we present a fuzzy-number-oriented methodology to model uncertain geometric robot environment and to manipulate geometric uncertainty between robot coordinate frames. We describe any geometric primitive of robot environment as a parameter vector in parameter space. Not only ill-known values of the parameterized geometric primitive but the uncertain quantities of coordinate transformation are represented by means of fuzzy numbers restricted to appropriate membership functions. For consistent interpretation about geometric primitives between different coordinate frames, we manipulate these uncertain quantities using fuzzy arithmetic.

  • This paper is proposed a fuzzy neural network controller based on the vector controlled induction motor drive system. The hybrid combination of fuzzy control and neural network will produce a powerful representation flexibility and numerical processing capability. Also, this paper is proposed estimation and control of speed of induction motor using ANN Controller. The back propagation neural network technique is used to provide a real time adaptive estimation of the motor speed. The error between the desired state variable and the actual one is back-propagated to adjust the rotor speed, so that the actual state variable will coincide with the desired one. The back propagation mechanism is easy to derive and the estimated speed tracks precisely the actual motor speed. This paper is proposed the theoretical analysis as well as the simulation results to verify the effectiveness of the new method.
