This study was performed to detect enterococci strain as an indicator of faecal contamination, to identify of 16S rDNA sequence and vancomycin resistance by MIC (Minimum Inhibitory Concentration) test from drinking spring-water samples in Seoul. The detection frequency of enterococci was 42 (19.8%) among 212 samples, and its concentration was ranged from 0 to 110 CFU/100 mL. These results were confirmed the possibility as an indicator microorganisms that similar to the frequency of E. coli detection (t test p-value 0.268, significant level 0.05). Isolated 56 enterococci samples were identified by 16S rDNA sequence data and their NCBI BLAST searching. They were identified to Enterococcus faecalis of 24 samples, E. faecium (10), E. casseliflavus (10), E. gallinarum (3), E. hirae (2), E. durans (2), E. sanguinicola (1). E. faecalis was dominant species that clinical case report of a domestic was similar. Vancomycin resistant enterococci (VRE) of 53 samples showed that vanB and vanC1/C2 type with 2 and 12 case, respectively. These results indicated that the drinking spring-water quarantined to fecal pollution for block out outbreak of gastrointestinal symptom with using such as disinfection process.

Goodness of fit test statistics based on the information discrepancy have been shown to perform very well (Vasicek 1976, Dudewicz and van der Meulen 1981, Chandra et al 1982, Gohkale 1983, Arizona and Ohta 1989, Ebrahimi et al 1992, etc). Although the test is well defined for the non-censored case, censored case has not been discussed in the literature. Therefore we consider a goodness of fit test based on the partial Kullback-Leibler(KL) information with the type II censored data. We derive the partial KL information of the null distribution function and a nonparametric distribution function, and establish a goodness of fit test statistic. We consider the exponential and normal distributions and made Monte Calro simulations to compare the test statistics with some existing tests.
The GPS/INS integration system navigation can provide improved navigation performance and has been widely used as a main navigation system for military and commercial vehicles. When two navigation systems are tightly coupled and the structure is complicated, a fault in either the GPS or the INS can lead to a disastrous failure of the whole integration system. This paper proposes a real-time fault detection method for an AGPS/INS integration system. The proposed fault detection method comprises a BIT and a fault detection algorithm based on chi-square test. It is implemented by real-time software modules to apply the AGPS/INS integration system and van test is carried out to evaluate its performance.

Numerical analyses were performed using a one-dimensional Euler equation and Godunov Harten-Lax-Van Leer(HLL) Riemann solver in order to study the deceleration characteristics of a 155 mm projectile in a soft recovery system. The soft recovery system consisting of a series of pressure tubes is a system that decelerates the test projectile fired at supersonic speed using a high-pressure gas and filled water inside. Therefore, depending on the gas pressure and the amount of water filling, the deceleration and the exit velocity of the test projectile inside the pressure tube are determined. In this paper, the deceleration characteristics of the test projectile were analyzed according to the gas pressure and water mass filled.
A field test program was conducted for the newly placed concrete pavement of US Interstate Highway 10 between March 26th and 28th, 2003. The test section was located between Van Horn and Sierra Blanca in Hudspeth County approximately 130 km east of El Paso, Texas. The main objective of the test was collecting moisture-related data to validate the models of effective curing thickness, evaporation rate, and moisture-based maturity. Effect of moisture loss on drying shrinkage strain was studied using additional test instrumentation.

In this study, electrophoretic paint (E-paint) was deposited on the knife-abraded surface of AZ31 magnesium alloy (AZ31), and its adhesion and corrosion resistance were examined by tape peel-test and salt spray test, respectively. E-paint started to deposit on AZ31 Mg alloy after an inductance time and pores were found in the E-paint layer which is ascribed to hydrogen bubbles generated on the surface during the painting process. The pores disappeared after curing for 15 min at $160^{\circ}C$. The E-paint on AZ31 exhibited good adhesion after immersion in deionized water for 500 h at $40^{\circ}C$. The E-paint sample without scratch showed no corrosion after 1500 h of salt spray test. However, on the scratched sample, blisters were visible adjacent to the scratched sites after 500 h of salt spray test.

Arizono and Ohta(1989) studied goodness of fit test of normality using the entropy estimator proposed by Vasicek (1976) Recently van Es(1992) and Correa(1995) proposed an estimator of entropy. In this paper we propose goodness of fit test statistics for normality based on Vasicek ven Es and Correa. And we compare the power of the proposed test statistics with Kolmogorov-Smirnov Kuiper Cramer von Mises Watson Anderson-Darling and Finkelstein and Schefer statistics.

The Richards' equation attracts the attention of several scientific researchers due to its importance in the hydrogeology field especially porous soil. This work presents a numerical method to solve the two dimensional Richards' equation. The pressure form and the mixed form of Richards' equation are solved numerically using a bivariate diamond finite volumes scheme. Euler explicit scheme is used for the time discretization. Different test cases are done to validate the accuracy and the efficiency of our numerical model and to compare the possible numerical strategies. We started with a first simple test case of Richards' pressure form where the hydraulic capacity and the hydraulic conductivity are taken constant and then a second test case where the hydrodynamics parameters are linear variables. Finally, a third test case where the soil parameters are taken according the Van Gunchten empirical model is presented.
Objectives: It is known that bioactive materials interact with the dentin to undergo biomineralization. The exact role of moisture in this interaction is unknown. Here, we investigate the effects of dentin moisture conditions on the dislocation resistance of two bioactive root canal sealers (MTA Fillapex [Angelus Solucoes Odontologicas] and GuttaFlow BioSeal [Colténe/Whaledent AG]) at 3 weeks and 3 months after obturation. Materials and Methods: Mandibular premolars (n = 120) were prepared and randomly divided into 3 groups based on the dentin condition: group 1, dry dentin; group 2, moist dentin; group 3, wet dentin. Each group was divided into 2 subgroups for root canal filling: MTA Fillapex and GuttaFlow BioSeal. Dislocation resistance was evaluated by measuring the push-out bond strength at 3 weeks and 3 months. Failure modes were examined under a stereomicroscope. Data were statistically analyzed by Kruskal-Wallis test with a significance level of 5%. Results: Moist dentin resulted in higher bond strength values for both materials at both time points. This was significantly higher than wet and dry dentin for both the sealers at the 3 months (p < 0.05), while at 3 weeks it was significant only for GuttaFlow Bioseal. The different moisture conditions demonstrated similar trends in their effects on the dislocation resistance of the 2 root canal sealers. Conclusions: The dentin moisture conditions had a significant impact on its interaction with the bioactive materials tested. Maintaining moist dentin, but not dry or wet dentin, may be advantageous before the filling root canals with bioactive sealers.

Background: Our aim is to determine the interobserver reliability for surgeons to detect Hill-Sachs lesions on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), the certainty of judgement, and the effects of surgeon characteristics on agreement. Methods: Twenty-nine patients with Hill-Sachs lesions or other lesions with a similar appearance on MRIs were presented to 20 surgeons without any patient characteristics. The surgeons answered questions on the presence of Hill-Sachs lesions and the certainty of diagnosis. Interobserver agreement was assessed using the Fleiss' kappa (κ) and percentage of agreement. Agreement between surgeons was compared using a technique similar to the pairwise t-test for means, based on large-sample linear approximation of Fleiss' kappa, with Bonferroni correction. Results: The agreement between surgeons in detecting Hill-Sachs lesions on MRI was fair (69% agreement; κ, 0.304; p<0.001). In 84% of the cases, surgeons were certain or highly certain about the presence of a Hill-Sachs lesion. Conclusions: Although surgeons reported high levels of certainty for their ability to detect Hill-Sachs lesions, there was only a fair amount of agreement between surgeons in detecting Hill-Sachs lesions on MRI. This indicates that clear criteria for defining Hill-Sachs lesions are lacking, which hampers accurate diagnosis and can compromise treatment.
