CA 저장을 위한 사과의 최적 수확시기 결정 (Determination on the Optimal Harvest Date of Apples for CA Storage)

  • This study was carried out for the establishment of optic harvest date and storage condition of 'Fuji' apple for CA storage. Apples were picked at 10 day intervals from 17 Sept to 27 Oct.. Apples were analyzed for respiration rata, weight flesh firmness, titratable acidity, soluble solid, total sugar, reducing sugar, surface color and thiault value. In 1990, the optimal harvest season could be judged between 17 Oct. and 27 Oct. from the results of respiration rate rise and change of quality properties. Apples harvested on 27 Oct. wert stored at 2$^{\circ}C$ and 90~95% RH in 1%O2 + 3%CO2, 3%O2 + 3%CO2 and air for 9 months. After 9 months of storage, apples kept in CA storages had beater quality than apples kept in refrigeration storage. Especially, apples kept in 1%O2, + 3%CO2 were fumer and more acid than those kept in 3%O2 + 3%CO2 At the sensory evaluations, apples stored in CA were rated higher quality than apples stared refrigeration.

Feed Value of Whole-Crop Silage Rice by Cultivars and Plant Parts at Different Transplanting and Harvest Dates

  • This study was carried out to find out the changes in the growth characteristics and feed value of the three different whole-crop silage rice cultivars of whole-crop silage rice such as Jonong, Yeongwoo and Mogwoo to develop an efficient double cropping system. This study showed that there were significant differences biomass and feed values among cultivars but no clear difference among transplanting dates. Dry weight and height were in order of Mogwoo, Yeongwoo, Jonong (p<0.05). Dry weight and feed value of Jonong showed no significant difference after 21 days after heading (DAH), it was expected to be harvested before DAH 30 days. Yeongwoo showed a lower dry weight than Mogwoo, but heading date was earlier than Mogwoo, so one can expect a higher feed value than Mogwoo. Mogwoo had lower crude protein and total digestible nutrient than the other two cultivars but relative feed value in stem was higher than that of the other cultivars, but had higher dry weight than other cultivars so it was considered to take an advantage as a silage rice. Therefore, the results of this study suggest that the selection of whole-crop silage rice on the cropping system be made comprehensively by considering the heading characteristics of the cultivars and the feed value.

  • This presentation derives a distribution function of the terminal value and running maximum of two-dimensional Brownian motion {X(t) = (X$_1$(t), X$_2$(T))', t > 0}. One random variable of the joint distribution is the terminal time value of the Brownian motion {X$_1$(t), t > 0}. The other random variable is the partial-time running maximum of the Brownian motion {X$_2$(t), t > 0}. With this distribution function, this presentation also derives an explicit pricing formula for a barrier option whose monitoring period of the option starts at an arbitrary date and ends at another arbitrary date before maturity.

  • This research is concerned with n jobs, m parallel identical machines scheduling problem in which all jobs have a common due date. The objective of the research is to develop an optimum scheduling algorithm for determining an optimal job sequence, the optimal value of the common due date and the minimum makespan to minimize total cost. The total cost is based on the common due date cost, the earliness cost, the tardiness cost and the flow time cost of each job in the selected sequence. The optimum scheduling algorithm is developed. A numerical example is given to illustrate the scheduling algorithm.

어묵의 소비기한 설정을 위한 보관방법 별 어묵의 품질변화 연구 (A study on the quality change of fish cakes by storage conditions to set the use by date of fish cakes)

  • 본 연구에서는 어묵의 유통기한을 소비기한으로 변경하기 위해 품질평가를 진행하였다. 제품 품질 평가를 위해 보관 조건은 5, 10, 15 ℃로 설정하고 pH, 산가, 휘발성염기질소, 세균수, 대장균군 등 5가지 항목에 대한 실험을 진행하였다. 실험결과 어묵의 품질유지한계기간은 5 ℃에서 43일, 10 ℃에서 30일, 15 ℃에서 7일이었다. 품질평가에 사용된 5가지 시험항목 중 품질한계지표가 있는 항목은 산가, 세균수, 대장균군이었다. 그리고 3가지 보관조건에서 품질유지한계기간을 결정하는 지표는 세균수였다. 본 실험에 사용된 어묵의 유통기한은 10일이나 품질평가를 통해 10 ℃에서의 소비기한은 28.5일로, 품질유지한계기간인 30일에 안전계수 0.95를 곱한 값이다. 그러나 본 연구는 1개 업체의 어묵 1품목에 대한 품질평가를 수행하였기에, 본 연구에서 설정한 품질유지한계기간 및 소비기한을 보편적으로 사용하기에는 무리가 있다. 유통기한을 소비기한으로 변경하기 위해서는 다양한 제품에 대한 광범위한 품질 연구가 필요하다. 이 제도가 잘 갖춰진다면 올바른 음식물 섭취를 통해 음식물폐기물을 줄이는 데 도움이 될 수 있고, 소비자들은 안심하고 식품을 섭취할 수 있다.

공통납기를 고려한 주문생산형 일정계획문제 (Job Shop Scheduling Problems with Common Due Date)

  • This paper is concerned with an n jobs one machine Job shop scheduling problems in which all jobs have a common due date and unequal penalties occur when a job is completed before or after due date. The objective is to determine an optimal sequence and the corresponding common due date that yield the global minimum value of a penalty function Then a sequence that minimize the penalty function globally is a V-shaped sequence Using the idea of linear equations and a LGP(Linear Goal Programming), this paper shows that LGP and MAD(Mean Absolute Deviation) are equivalent problems. Therefore an efficient algorithm that is developed for MAD problem holds for LGP problem and vice-versa. A numerical example to account for the algorithm is provided.

Germination Percentages of Different Types of Sweet Corn in Relation to Harvesting Dates

  • Germination of sweet and super sweet corn is lower than normal corn due to the higher sugar and lower starch contents of kernels. Sweet corn seeds are easily deteriorated in the field under the unfavorable condition, therefore it is important to identify the optimal harvesting time for seed production. This trial was conducted to investigate the responses of germination percentage of shrunken-2(sh2), brittle(bt), sugary(su), and sugary enhancer(se) hybrids in relation to harvesting dates. Eight hybrids of four different gene sweet corns were harvested at 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, and 50 days after silking(DAS). Germination test was performed using paper towel method. Mean germination percentages across eight hybrids showed the highest value at 45 DAS. There were significant differences among genes and within gene for germination. Shrunken-2 hybrid Mecca was higher than su hybrids for germination, indicating that sh2 would not be poorer than su Late harvesting beyond the optimal harvesting date might not be desirable because of more lodging and ear rots. Theoretical optimal harvesting date estimated from the regression equation was 40.9 DAS, however, practical date for harvesting would be a few days later than the estimated date if seedling vigor might be considered. Kernel dry weight per ear showed similar response to germination. Regression equation showed the highest kernel dry weight at 40.7 DAS. Significant correlations between kernel dry weight and germination were observed, impling that kernel dry matter accumulation would be an important factor for germination.

In Vitro Evaluation of Antioxidant Potential of Date Palm Collected in Algeria using Electrochemical and Spectrophotometrical Techniques

  • In this study, we will determined the total phenolic content (TPC) and the antioxidant activity of the methanolic extract (ME) of date palm (Phoenix dactylifera. L) fruits (DPF) of four native cultivars from Algeria: Ghars (Gh), Chtaya (Cht), DeglaBeïda (DB) and Tinissine (Tns). The TPC of ME of DPF was measured by using Folin-Ciocalteu. Thereafter, the antioxidant capacity of various extracts was determined using DPPH test, reducing power and superoxide anion test. These results showed that dates had strongly scavenging activity on DPPH. The value of IC50 for DPPH radical test was 0.077 mg/ml in Cht. Also, Cht cultivar showed the best-reducing power, which was significantly higher than the other varieties. The less IC50 value in cyclic voltammetry method (CV), which meets the highest effective antioxidant, was 0.006 mg/ml in methanolic extract of Cht.

외식 프랜차이즈 기업의 SNS 마케팅 활동이 소비자 행동의도에 미치는 영향 (Impacts of Food-Service Franchise's SNS Marketing Activities on Customer Behavior Intention)

  • Purpose - Many companies use the Internet to conduct their business to maintain and acquire their customers. SNS is used as a site where users can create profiles, build personal networks, and then share and exchange information with others. Not only do people use SNS for their self-promotion, but they also promote their services by creating SNS pages. SNS is recognized as a medium for implementing effective advertising strategies and is being used as an important means of promoting the company. Therefore, in this study, we investigate the effect of SNS marketing characteristics of restaurant franchise firms on utilitarian value and hedonic value and examine their effects on purchase intention. Research design, data, and methodology - The data were collected from 20s-60s respondents who have used SNS for restaurant visit using Google survey. A total of 159 responses were collected and used for final analysis. Smart PLS 3.0 was used for the hypothesis test. Results - As a result of an analysis, it was shown that the influence of the playfulness and affordability of information on the utilitarian value had a significant positive effect. Interaction and up-to-date did not have a positive effect on utilitarian value. Interaction, affordability, and up-to-date have no significant positive effects on hedonic value. The playfulness of information has a positive effect on the hedonic value. Both utilitarian value and hedonic value had positive effects on purchase intention. Conclusions - The findings of this study suggest that the SNS marketers of restaurant franchisors should focus on the playfulness, affordability, and up-to-date rather than the interactivity of SNS. In marketing through SNS, the act of presenting the basis of information and enhancing the provision of information through objective criteria makes it possible to experience the practical value of information. It is necessary to develop differentiated contents which cause customers interest and fun and to induce many customers' purchase intent by providing objective and realistic information. In order to increase the customers' repurchase intentions toward the food service business, customers should maximize the hedonic value and practical value felt through information. It should also focus on providing information that customers are receptive to, rather than providing prompt information.
