Coastal landforms such as sand beach and coastal sand dune are changing dynamically, and the research about them is being conducted. Conventionally the leveling method has been applied to measuring heights of dynamic morphological surface in coastal landforms. We applied the photograrmmetric method which was not considered to measure the heights on coastal sand dune’s profile to calculating the heights of coastal sand dune; that is, the heights of unknown points on coastal sand dune’s profile was reckoned from the digital photographs’stereo pairs through bundle adjustment and backward transform of collinearity condition equation. we used six GCPs to perform bundle adjustment. After backward transform the error of heights between surveyed value and computed value was estimated around 10cm. In general, the pole is not adamantly fixed on the surface of coastal sand dune because of its softness, and then the disturbance of coastal sand dune adjoining surveyed area can be made in small area. Digital photogrammetry can solve the problem which conventional leveling method has, and be replaced it.
Purpose: This research has been conducted in order to understand the major factors that affect self-esteem of adolescents. Methods: Data was collected by questionnaires from 1155 students at middle and high school in Seoul and Kyungkido, Korea. The Instrument tools utilized in this study were self-esteem, body-image, problematic behavior, depression, school adjustment, social support tool and thoroughly modified to verify validity and reliability. The collected data have been analyzed using SPSS 11.0 program. The variable of family harmony and counseling partner was treated as a dummy variable. Seven outliers which were bigger than 3 in absolute value were found, so after taking them off, Multiple Regression was used for further analysis. Result: The major factors that affect self-esteem of adolescents were depression, social support, body-image, problematic behavior, school adjustment, and family harmony, which explained $54.7\%$ of self-esteem. Conclusion: It has been confirmed that the regression equation model of this research may serve as a self-esteem prediction factors in adolescents.
This paper describes an unequal Bagley divider using uniform transmission lines with adjustment electrical lengths between output ports. To obtain an arbitrary dividing ratio of Bagley divider, we have only adjusted the electrical lengths of the transmission line between output ports. All the transmission lines have the same characteristic impedance value. This design method does not require an impedance transformer for port matching. For verification, we simulated and fabricated a 3-way, 1:2:1 and 5-way, 2:3:4:3:2 ratio Bagley divider with an operating frequency of 2 GHz. The experimental results are in agreement with the simulated results.

This dissertation is assumed to continuously occur adjustment cost on present investment. So, I derived from time-nonseparable production-based CAPM and tested the performance of model through data. I also compared time-nonseparable production-based CAPM with time-separable production-based CAPM and CCAPM, CAPM through testifying the performance of model. At the part of applied application, I estimated time-nonseparable PCAPM-betas. The data of Korea consists of 320 listed companies on Korea Stock Exchange (KOSPI) from first quarter 1987 to first quarter 2002. This data also is categorized by scale and industries. Additionally, I estimated time-nonseparable PCAPM-betas through 500 listed companies of New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) from first quarter 1973 to first quarter 2002. I observed the statistical significance of 230 firms by 320 companies in Korea. After that, I compared time-nonseparable PCAPM-betas by firms with time-separable production-based CAPM-betas and CCAPM-betas, CAPM-betas through individual firms. At empirical test, I found that estimated parameter of adjustment cost on time-nonseparable production-based CAPM by scale and industries in Korea had positive value and statistical significance, Moreover, this approach proved to resolve the underestimation of adjustment cost on time-separable production-based CAPM by scale and industries. I also found that the time-nonseparable PCAPM performed better than time-separable production-based CAPM and CCAPM, CAPM. The result from U.S data proved to have similarity to that of Korea. Specifically, I found that time-nonseparable PCAPM-betas by firms performed better than CAPM-betas on individual firms in Korea.

The geometric chart has proven more effective than Shewhart p or np charts to monitor the proportion nonconforming in high-quality processes. Implementing a geometric chart commonly requires the assumption that the in-control proportion nonconforming is known or accurately estimated. However, accurate parameter estimation is very difficult and may require a larger sample size than that available in practice in high-quality process where the proportion of nonconforming items is very small. Thus, the error in the parameter estimation increases and may lead to deterioration in the performance of the control chart if a sample size is inadequate. We suggest adjusting the control limits in order to improve the performance when a sample size is insufficient to estimate the parameter. We propose a linear function for the adjustment constant, which is a function of the sample size, the number of nonconforming items in a sample, and the false alarm rate. We also compare the performance of the geometric charts without and with adjustment using the expected value of the average run length (ARL) and the standard deviation of the ARL (SDARL).
The financial value of early stage start-up has a tendency to depend more on the non-financial factors, but these are not efficiently reflected in the traditional valuation models. Therefore, most of valuation practices for early stage start-ups heavily relied on the guts of experts. To remedy this, this study suggests a model to directly reflect the non-financial factors especially for the real options approach. Actual process of valuation and the adjustment way were developed considering the characteristics of early stage start-ups in the game industry.
This paper offers a method of magnetic compass adjustment for the vessel alongside the wharf using newly designed magnetic north former, which makes the same magnetic field-change as the turning vessel does. The characteristics of the magnetic north former was examined by observing the deviation curves of the magnetic compass installed on the compass deviascop at laboratory. The magnetic north former consists of A and B arms which hold the permanent bar magnets at the both ends of each arm. The arm is to rotae in the horizontal plane about the vertical axis fixed at the center boss of the magnetic compass and it is to compensate the horizontal plane about the vertical axis fixed at the center boss of the magnetic compass and it is to compensate the horizontal component of the earth's field. The B arm makes the artificial magnetic north around the magnetic compass for every ship's heading. The results of investigation are summarized as follows ; 1. The observation and correction of magnetic compass deviation can be done without swinging the ship, of the effect of D coefficient is negligible. 2. The residual deviation curve of the magnetic compass depends on the accuracy of deduced value of ship's multplier($\lambda$). 3. The errors due to the inaccuracy of deduced value of ship's multiplier change in the same way as the B and C coefficient do.
We point out the limitations of Bloomberg Adjustment beta, shows that long-term beta does not converge with 1 and suggests an alternative to using proxy beta as beta's long-term forecast. We analyze whether the beta produced in the manner proposed by Bloomberg beta or proxy beta meets the purpose of calculating capital costs, for example, for the evaluation of corporate value. In particular, We apply in impairment valuations of assets and some analysis of how it affects. The proposal of the article applied in cases of analysis results are as follows : First, unlike the Bloomberg approach, long-term beta does not converge with market beta and therefore is not suitable as market forecast by beta. Second, estimating the suggested proxy beta as beta's predictive value resulted in Bloomberg beta and other adjustment Beta in the case categories, and the gap was large. Third, applying proxy beta results in a more appropriate valuation of the impairment loss on assets.
This study was designed to investigate the changes of nurses' role model, perceptions toward occupation, and self actualization value in terms of the phases of socialization process. Two hundred and sixty nine nurses working in clinical settings were randomly selected from 15 general hospitals despersed over Seoul and Kyungki province. Data were gathered by the standardized Perceptual Orientation Test, the Self-actualization Test, and Questionnaires on role models and phases of socialization process developed by the investigators from October 1985 to March 1986. The data were analysed by ANOVA and Pearson's Correlation Coefficient. The results were as follows: 1. The average time period required for the shift of phases of socialization process were; phase Ⅰ, role adjustment, took average 10 months of employment: Phase Ⅱ, interpersonal adjustment, 12 months: and Phase Ⅲ, role conflict, 15 months respectively. Conflict resolution, phase Ⅳ, began to take place 18 months of employment; and shifted to phase V, internalization and self-actualization at 25 months of employment. 2. Throughout 5 consecutive phase, the number of immediate superior nurse model was dominantly the highest among the role models. The number of head nurse role model increased at phase Ⅱ, phase Ⅲ, and phase Ⅳ. Respondents with school model in phase I tended to transfer to work model at phase Ⅱ. 3. The perceptions toward occupation were not significantly influenced by the Phases of socialization process. 4. The score of self-actualization value was not significantly influenced by the phases of socialization process. 5. In regard to perceptions toward occupation, nursing director model group showed significantly lower score in phase I (p<.01). 6. The comparison of self-actualization value between the 5 phases revealed significant difference in phase I: in particular among respondents with school model at p<.05. To conclude: 1. The phase Ⅲ of socialization process is the period of role conflict which occur at 15 months of employment, an6 conflict resolution, phase Ⅳ, begins at 18 months of employment on the average in clinical settings. 2. The immediate superior nurse and the head nurse are important role models for nurses all through their socialization process.
Geodetic surveying using precise GPS equipment are used without analysis with a statistical verification of GPS observed value and it was preformed by necessity to integration projection of digital topographic map and nautical Chart for integration geographic information system construction. The purpose of this study proposes method that improve accuracy of GPS observed value and direction that integrally manage digital topographic map and electronic nautical chart in analyzing the boundary line error between digital topographic map and nautical Chart. For improvement of the precision of GPS observed value, the author studied precision-analysis of GPS observed value by geometric strength and variance factor in 3 control points used in GPS network adjustment. And like this, produce EDM measurement using this GPS observation results and compare the whole boundary point error when set digital topographic map and nautical chart by these boundary.
