  • Recently, the construction of gas insulated substation(GIS)s has been increased in Korea. But, the whole quantity of the VTs which were used in GIS has been imported. Under the circumstance that $SF_6$ gas power apparatus are being developed up to 800kV rating in Korea, the development of EHV $SF_6$ gas VT is essential for localizing the power apparatus. As for EHV VT, destructive ferroresonance can be generated due to the combination of capacitiances between poles of circuit breaker, ground capacitance of bus and nonlinear excitation property of VT core. But the theoretical analysis about ferroresonance has not been fully achieved in Korea. Therefore, in this paper the authors would like to contribute for localizing EHV $SF_6$ gas VT by developing the diagram of ferroresonance zone according to the parameters of the circuit and the saturable reactor.

Studies on the Improvement and Analysis of Data Entry Error to the AIS System for the Traffic Ships in the Korean Coastal Area (우리나라 연안해역을 통항하는 선박에 대한 AIS 데이터 입력 오류의 분석 및 개선 방안 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to survey input data error of ship automatic identification system (AIS) and suggest its improvement. The effects of AIS were observed. Input data error of AIS was investigated by dividing it into dynamic data, static data by targeting actual ships and its improvement method was suggested. The findings are as follows. Looking into accidents before and after AIS is enforced to install on the ship, total collision were decreased after AIS installed. Static data error of AIS took place mainly in the case that ship name, call sign, MMSI, IMO number, ship type, location of antenna (ship length and width) were wrongly input or those data were not input initially. Dynamic data error of AIS was represented by input error of ship's heading. As errors of voyage related data take place as well, confusion is made in sailing or ship condition. Counter measures against the above are as follows. First, reliability of AIS data information should be improved. Second, incessant concern and management should be made on the navigation officers.

  • It is very important to protect life, property at sea and marine environments from any pollution AIS, which was been carried out July 1st, 2002 by SOLAS ch. 5, is an communication system to enhance navigational safety by transmitting and receiving vessel information automatically. In this paper, we investigated the positive factors expected by introducing AIS. For this, ship's collision accidents were analyzed. Finally, we suggest methods to solve several problems related to operation in AIS.

  • 우리나라에서 해상교통관제시스템(Vessel Traffic Service, VTS) 구역을 설정하여, 관제사를 중심으로 한 VTS와 선박사이의 해상교통상황 등의 교환을 통해 항만의 안전과 항만운영의 효율을 높이고 있다. 향후, 연안으로 확대될 예정이다. 더 넓은 해역에 대해서는 해양안전종합정보시스템(GICOMS)이 있으며, 선박자동식별장치 (AIS), 장거리위치추적시스템 (LRIT) 등에서 송신하는 선박의 운항정보를 수신하여 전자해도에 표시하고 있다. 이와 같은 선박관제정보는 빅데이터로 향후 자동화된 분석과 제원체계가 요구된다. 여기서는 해상교통관제정보 기초 활용 연구로, 소청초 종합해양과학기지주변의 AIS (Automatic Identification System)정보를 사용하여 선박 활동 특성 해석을 진행하였다.

  • The application area based on UAV(Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) is continuously increasing as time passing by. In particular the UAVs which consist of more than four horizontal propellers and the functionality of VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) are utilized in diverse platforms and application products due to their safety and aerodynamically simpler design and architectures. Most UAV missions are controlled by GCSs(Ground Control System). The GCSs are generally connected to the internet and get electrical map and environmental information such as temperature, humidity, wind direction and so on. In this paper, we design a system that UAV has capability of approaching to a certain ship and monitoring her efficiently by using AIS(Auto Identification System) information.

자율운항선박의 운항 경로 예측 및 운항 해역 항적 정보 기반의 비상상황인식 프레임워크 설계

  • 본 논문에서는 자율운항선박의 예측 가능한 운항 경로 상에 잠재된 비상상황을 인식하기 위하여 운항 해역의 항적 정보를 활용한 방안과 이를 기반으로 충돌 위험과 같은 비상위험을 식별하는 프레임워크를 설계하였다. 설계한 프레임워크는 크게 항적 특성 분석 모듈, 항로예측 모듈, 위험 식별 모듈로 구성된다. 항적 특성 분석 모듈에서는 자율운항선박의 운항 해역에 관한 선박들의 항적 정보를 활용하기 위하여, 대상 VTS 관제 영역 내에서 취합된 누적 선박자동식별장치(AIS) 데이터를 이용하여 선박의 항적 특성을 분석하여 데이터베이스(DB)를 생성하였다. 그리고 운항 경로 예측 모듈에서는 누적된 항적 정보와 자율운항선박의 현재 운항 정보를 기반으로 특정 시간 동안의 운항 경로를 예측하기 위한 학습 네트워크 모델을 구성하였다. 마지막으로, 위험 식별 모듈에서는 예측한 운항 경로 상에 최근접점과 최근접점 거리 정보를 이용하여 충돌 위험 가능성이 있는 충돌위험영역을 식별하였다. 설계한 프레임워크는 자율운항선박의 육상 관제소에서 원격 제어를 통해 위험상황을 인지하고 회피할 수 있는 정보를 제공할 수 있음을 실제 항적 데이터를 활용하여 그 결과를 검증하였다.

  • An estimation algorithm of collision risk among multiple ships has been developed in order to reduce human error and prevent collision accidents. The algorithm is designed to calculate the collision risk among ships based on Fuzzy theory by using AIS data as traffic information. In this paper, to validate the algorithm, the AIS data of actual collision accident, which occurred between a product carrier and a cargo carrier in Busan harbor in 2009 are collected. The replay simulation is carried out on the actual AIS data and the collision risk is calculated in real time. In this paper, the features of the estimation algorithm of collision risk and the results of replay simulation based on AIS data of actual collision accident are discussed.

Stabilization of ship's heading in AIS of fishing vessel by a hybrid GPS/EM compass (어선 AIS에서의 하이브리드 GPS/EM 컴퍼스에 의한 선수방위 안정화)

  • The ship's heading information of hybrid GPS/EM compass were applied to the AIS of fishing vessel and examined the possibility of accuracy improvement. It is observed 453 each in AIS receiver of land among 3,982 each in AIS Rx/Tx transponder of the test ship at sea, and transmission interval according to the speed of ship is determined the 11.4% good transmitting data of the all information. In results, maximum compass error for the ship's heading of an EM compass was $19.1^{\circ}$. The variance of ship's heading owing to the speed of ship is surveyed. The COG (Course Over Ground) was changed extremely in $180^{\circ}W-179^{\circ}E$ range under 4.9knots, and in $24^{\circ}W-23^{\circ}E$ range over 4.9knots. Finally, using the ship's heading of EM compass and the COG from GPS for the autopilot system of a small fishing boat and the ship's heading information of AIS results in danger on the own ship's navigation safety and leads to make confusion both the others and VTS (Vessel Traffic Service) center. Therefore, the hybrid GPS/EM compass is identified as the best system for a small fishing boat and is allowed to offer continuously a ship's heading information with high accuracy and stability.

  • The prevention of marine accidents has been a major topic in marine society and various polides and countermeasures rave been developed, applied to the industries. 1he coastal VIS and navigational aids are considered as one of the effective methods to promote marine safety but they need relatively huge amount of budgets to build Thus prior to establishing these coastal VIS and navigational aids, it should be evaluated the navigational safety level in the coastal waterways from the Environmental Stress. So far as human beings are concerned, there are many types of fuzziness in the evaluation of navigational safety level. In order to reflect these fuzziness on this evaluation, this paper introduces the fuzzy integral suggested by Choquet to represent the fuzziness in the evaluation process. This paper aims to develop the method for this evaluation from the viewpoint of mariner's operational stress using the fuzzy measure and Choquet integral. In this paper, Korean coastal area is divided into 8 sectors and evaluated the priority for the needs of coastal VIS and navigational aids.

In order to improve the navigational safety level in the coastal waterways, the navigational safety level must be evaluated from the mariner's perception of safety. So far as human beings are concerned, there are many types of fuzziness in the evaluation of navigational safety level. In order to reflect these fuzziness on this evaluation, this paper introduces the fuzzy integral suggested by Choquet to represent the fuzziness in the evaluation process. This paper aims to develop the method for this evaluation from the viewpoint of mariner's operational stress using the fuzzy measure and Choquet integral. In this paper, Korean coastal area is divided into 8 sectors and evaluated the priority for the needs of coastal VTS and navigational aids. The results are found in the order named Mokpo, Yosu, Pohang, Inchon, Busan, Geoje, Gunsan, Donghae coastal area.
