Vehicle to Everything (V2X) communication has been growing to enhance traffic safety by employing advanced wireless communication systems. V2X communication is one core solution for governing and advancing future traffic safety and mobility. In this paper, we design the system level simulator (SLS) of Long Term Evolution (LTE)-based V2X and propose the adaptive transmission scheme for vehicle communication. The proposed scheme allocates the resource randomly in time and frequency domain, and transmit the message according to probability of transmission. The performance analysis is based on freeway case in periodic message transmission. Simulation results show that proposed scheme can improve the cumulative distribution function (CDF) of packet reception ratio (PRR) and average PRR.
The V2X cooperative communication system is fusion technology which makes vehicle manuver safer. To evaluate and anticipate effect of these kind of technology, it requires real-car based road construction, implementation of communication devices, hiring inspection specialized personnel. For this reason, many laboratories and universities experience difficulties to test their technology results. Also, the need of implementing reliable testbed for testing vehicle safety applications and V2X communication technology is increasing as V2X device development is being accelerated. In this paper, we implemented a system which synchronizes traffic and network simulators via developing External interface to set simulation based testing environment in order to solve the difficulties.
In recent emerging industry, Display field becomes bigger and bigger, and also semiconductor technology becomes high density integration. In Flat Panel Display, there is an issue that electrostatic phenomenon results in fine dust adsorption as electrostatic capacity increases due to bigger size. Destruction of high integrated circuit and pattern deterioration occur in semiconductor and this causes the problem of weakening of thermal resistance. In order to solve this sort of electrostatic failure in this process, Soft X-ray ionizer is mainly used. Soft X-ray Ionizer does not only generate electrical noise and minute particle but also is efficient to remove electrostatic as it has a wide range of ionization. X-ray Generating efficiency has an effect on soft X-ray Ionizer affects neutralizing performance. There exist variable factors such as type of anode, thickness, tube voltage etc., and it takes a lot of time and financial resource to find optimal performance by manufacturing with actual X-ray tube source. MCNPX (Monte Carlo N-Particle Extended) is used for simulation to solve this kind of problem, and optimum efficiency of X-ray generation is anticipated. In this study, X-ray generation efficiency was measured according to target material thickness using MCNPX under the conditions that tube voltage is 5 keV, 10 keV, 15 keV and the target Material is Tungsten(W), Gold(Au), Silver(Ag). At the result, Gold(Au) shows optimum efficiency. In Tube voltage 5 keV, optimal target thickness is $0.05{\mu}m$ and Largest energy of Light flux appears $2.22{\times}10^8$ x-ray flux. In Tube voltage 10 keV, optimal target Thickness is $0.18{\mu}m$ and Largest energy of Light flux appears $1.97{\times}10^9$ x-ray flux. In Tube voltage 15 keV, optimal target Thickness is $0.29{\mu}m$ and Largest energy of Light flux appears $4.59{\times}10^9$ x-ray flux.

Traffic management centers (TMC) collect real-time traffic data from the field and have powerful databases for analysing, recording, and archiving the data. Recent advanced sensor and communication technologies have been widely applied to intelligent transportation systems (ITS). Regarding sensors, various in-vehicle sensors, in addition to global positioning system (GPS) receiver, are capable of providing high resolution data representing vehicle maneuverings. Regarding communication technologies, advanced wireless communication technologies including vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) and vehicle-to-vehicle infrastructure (V2I), which are generally referred to as V2X, have been widely used for traffic information and operations (references). The V2X environment considers the transportation system as a network in which each element, such as the vehicles, infrastructure, and drivers, communicates and reacts systematically to acquire information without any time and/or place restrictions. This study is motivated by needs of exploiting aforementioned cutting-edge technologies for developing smarter transportation services. The proposed system has been implemented in the field and discussed in this study. The proposed system is expected to be used effectively to support the development of various traffic information control strategies for the purpose of enhancing traffic safety on highways.

It comes into the spotlight as the new Blue Ocean in which the connected car industry in which the car and mobile communication technology is convergence. All sorts of infortainments services connecting with the portable electronic device(Smart phone, tablet PC, and MP3 player) and car are rapidly grown. The Connected car emphasizes the vehicle connectivity with the concept that the car has communication with the around on a real time basis and it provides the safety and expedience to the operator and using the thing of Internet (IoT) in the car and supports the application, presently, the entertainment service including the real-time Navigation, parking assistant function, not only the remote vehicle control and management service but also Email, multimedia streaming service, SNS and with the platform. Intelligent vehicle network is studied as the kind according to MANET(Mobile Ad Hoc Network) for the safety operation of the cars of the road and improving the efficiency of the driving. The intelligent vehicle network is comprised for the driving information offering changing rapidly of the communication(V2V: Vehicle to Vehicle) between the car and the car, communication(V2I : Vehicle to Infrastructure) between the infrastructure and the car, and V2X (Vehicle to Nomadic).
In this study, we analyzed the next generation ITS (C-ITS) technology trends, focusing on the national and international C-ITS projects. Based on the promotion practices of developed countries, we pointed out the lack of linkages with the existing ITS infrastructure. As a way to overcome this problem, we proposed the three-direction to enable the existing ITS infrastructure corresponding to the C-ITS. First one is developing a technique to improve the performance of the existing ITS infrastructure and automate the performance management (Performance-enhanced ITS). Second, developing active sensors or fusion sensor which along with V2X communication technology implement of an active safety driving support system (Safety-enhanced ITS). Third, we need to develop a technology that generate the new advanced traffic data by integrating the collected data from existing ITS infrastructure and nomadic device (Cloud-ITS). By improving the function of the existing ITS infrastructure for adaptation to the new V2X communication environment, we enhanced the efficiency of maintenance performance and would maximize the benefit of the introduction of C-ITS.

Many research activities to reduce accidents on the road and to improve traffic efficiency have been performed and almost research projects are developing technologies and services based on C-ITS technology nowadays. The main concept of C-ITS is improving road safety and traffic efficiency by sharing and reproducing information between various elements. To accomplish this goal, V2X communication technology has been adopted. In Korea, we have studied V2X communication technology in support of SMART-Highway research project and are managing test-bed to verify the developed technology recently. In this paper, we introduce SMART-Highway test-bed and show the procedure and result of V2X communication performance analysis on the test-bed.

Self-driving vehicles are a type of smart vehicle with the help of ICT technology, which means a vehicle that operates without the intervention of a driver.Vehicles with vehicle safety communication technology (V2X) applied use information detected from various sensors or other vehicles/infrastructures to enable the smart vehicle to accurately and quickly predict the driver's potential danger situation, contributing to more stable autonomous driving. In this paper, among V2X communication technologies, a vehicle-to-vehicle communication (V2V) simulation communication technology is used to present a scenario for preventing collisions in autonomous vehicles. A vehicle collision prevention system based on V2V simulated communication was implemented and the suggested collision prevention application scenario was demonstrated. The suggested collision prevention utilization scenario can be considered as one application case of V2V communication technologies that are currently being developed/applied.
