The Combined AMC-MIMO System with Optimal Turbo Coded V-BLAST Technique to Improve Throughput and SNR (전송률 향상 및 SNR 개선을 위한 최적의 터보 부호화된 V-BLAST 기법을 적용한 AMC-MIMO 결합시스템)

  • In this paper, we propose and observe the Adaptive Modulation system with optimal Turbo Coded V-BLAST(Vertical-Bell-lab Layered Space-Time) technique that is applied the extrinsic information from MAP Decoder in decoding Algorithm of V-BLAST: ordering and slicing. And comparing the proposed system with the Adaptive Modulation system using conventional Turbo Coded V-BLAST technique that is simply combined V-BLAST with Turbo Coding scheme, we observe how much throughput performance and SNR has been improved. In addition, we show that the proposed system using STD(Selection Transmit Diversity) scheme results in on improved result, By using simulation and comparing to conventional Turbo Coded V-BLAST technique with the Adaptive Modulation systems, the optimal Turbo Coded V-BLAST technique with the Adaptive Modulation systems has SNR gain over all SNR range and better throughput gain that is about 350Kbps in 11dB SNR range. Also, comparing with the conventional Turbo Coded V-BLAST technique using 2 transmit and 2 receive antennas, the proposed system with STD scheme show that the improvement of maximum throughput is about 1.77Mbps in the same SNR range and the SNR gain is about 5.88dB to satisfy 4Mbps throughput performance.

  • The purpose of this research is to reduce editors' workload and automation to update(v) Digital Map(n) regarding changed topography. In Digital Map case, it usually uses the way of various survey to update(v). In this case, it costs a great deal and doesn't be efficient backup management. Accordingly, it can reduce editors' the period of the process and be efficiently managed the backup data due to well organized backup data management. We present update plan that used clipping and join for this result by analyzing Boundary of input data.

  • 국제표준 3차원 포인트 클라우드 압축 기술인 MPEG(Moving Picture Experts Group)-I(Immersive) V-PCC(Video-based Point Cloud Compression)에는 점유 맵(Occupancy Map) 손실/무손실 압축 기술이 포함되어 있다. V-PCC는 기존에 보급되어 있는 2차원 비디오 코덱(H.264/AVC, HEVC, AV1 등)을 그대로 활용할 수 있는 장점이 있는데, 대부분의 소비자 영상 기기에 포함되어 있는 2차원 비디오 복호화기 HW는 무손실을 지원하지 않는다. 따라서 V-PCC 복호화기의 폭넓은 상용화를 위해서는 부호화기에서 점유 맵의 손실 압축이 필수적이다. 본 논문은 V-PCC 부호화기의 점유 맵을 최소한의 압축 효율 저하로 손실 압축하기 위해 다양한 파라미터 실험을 통한 최적의 파라미터 값을 제시한다.

A Road Feature Extraction and Obstacle Localization Based on Stereo Vision (스테레오 비전 기반의 도로 특징 정보 추출 및 장애 물체 검출)

  • In this paper, we propose an obstacle localization method using a road feature based on a V-disparity map binarized by a maximum frequency value. In a conventional method, the detection performance is severely affected by the size, number and type of obstacles. It's especially difficult to extract a large obstacle or a continuous obstacle like a median strip. So we use a road feature as a new decision standard to localize obstacles irrespective of external environments. A road feature is proper to be a new decision standard because it keeps its rough feature very well in V-disparity under environments where many obstacles exist. And first of all, we create a binary V-disparity map using a maximum frequency value to extract a road feature easily. And then we compare the binary V-disparity map with a median value to remove noises. Finally, we use a linear interpolation for rows which have no value. Comparing this road feature with each column value in disparity map, we can localize obstacles robustly. We also propose a post-processing technique to remove noises made in obstacle localization stage. The results in real road tests show that the proposed algorithm has a better performance than a conventional method.

Cloning and Characterization of a Methionine Aminopeptidase (MAP) Gene from Tetragenococcus halophilus CY54 Isolated from Myeolchi-Jeotgal

  • A map gene encoding methionyl-specific aminopeptidase (MAP; EC 3.4.11.18) was cloned from Tetragenococcus halophilus CY54. Translated amino acid sequence of CY54 MAP showed high similarities with those from Enterococcus faecalis (83.8%) and Streptococcus salivarius (62.2%) but low similarities with MAPs from Lactobacillus and Lactococcus genera. The map gene was overexpressed in E. coli BL21(DE3) using pET26b(+),pET26b(+), and the recombinant MAP was purified by using an Ni-NTA column. The size of recombinant MAP was 29 kDa as determined by SDS-PAGE. The optimum pH and temperature of CY54 MAP were pH 5.0 and 60℃, respectively. The activity of CY54 MAP was most significantly increased by Co2+ ion (159%), and showed the highest activity at 12% NaCl. Km and Vmax were 0.64 ± 0.006 mM and 10.12 ± 0.014 U/mg protein, respectively when met-pNA was used as the substrate. This is the first report on a MAP from Tetragenococcus species.

An enhanced analytical calculation model based on sectional calculation using a 3D contour map of aerodynamic damping for vortex induced vibrations of wind turbine towers

  • To model the aeroelasticity in vortex-induced vibrations (VIV) of slender tubular towers, this paper presents an approach where the aerodynamic damping distribution along the height of the structure is calculated not only as a function of the normalized lateral oscillation but also considering the local incoming wind velocity ratio to the critical velocity (velocity ratio). The three-dimensionality of aerodynamic damping depending on the tower's displacement and the velocity ratio has been observed in recent studies. A contour map model of aerodynamic damping is generated based on the forced vibration tests. A sectional calculation procedure based on the spectral method is developed by defining the aerodynamic damping locally at each increment of height. The proposed contour map model of aerodynamic damping and the sectional calculation procedure are validated with full-scale measurement data sets of a rotorless wind turbine tower, where good agreement between the prediction and measured values is obtained. The prediction of cross-wind response of the wind turbine tower is performed over a range of wind speeds which allows the estimation of resulting fatigue damage. The proposed model gives more realistic prediction in comparison to the approach included in current standards.

  • In this paper, we give a digital graph-theoretical approach of the study of digital images with relation to a simplicial complex. Thus, a digital graph $G_k$ with some k-adjacency in ${\mathbb{Z}}^n$ can be recognized by the simplicial complex spanned by $G_k$. Moreover, we demonstrate that a graphically $(k_0,\;k_1)$-continuous map $f:G_{k_0}{\subset}{\mathbb{Z}}^{n_0}{\rightarrow}G_{k_1}{\subset}{\mathbb{Z}}^{n_1}$ can be converted into the simplicial map $S(f):S(G_{k_0}){\rightarrow}S(G_{k_1})$ with relation to combinatorial topology. Finally, if $G_{k_0}$ is not $(k_0,\;3^{n_0}-1)$-homotopy equivalent to $SC^{n_0,4}_{3^{n_0}-1}$, a graphically $(k_0,\;k_1)$-continuous map (respectively a graphically $(k_0,\;k_1)$-isomorphisim) $f:G_{k_0}{\subset}{\mathbb{Z}}^{n_0}{\rightarrow}G_{k_1}{\subset}{\mathbb{Z}^{n_1}$ induces the group homomorphism (respectively the group isomorphisim) $S(f)_*:{\pi}_1(S(G_{k_0}),\;v_0){\rightarrow}{\pi}_1(S(G_{k_1}),\;f(v_0))$ in algebraic topology.

항만용 자율협력주행 동적지도(LDM) 및 관제용 위치인식 설계 방안 연구

  • 항만용 자율주행 야드트럭운행 환경은 무신호교차로 주행, 낮은 GPS정확도, 악천후상황주행, 이송 컨테이너 위치변경등과 같이 일반 도로의 센서기반의 자율주행차량 운행과 다르게 매우 복잡하다. 이를 위해서는 항만내 특성을 반영한 실시간 위치, 속도 등에 대한 정확한 인식이 중요한 요소이다. 이를 위해서 센서융합과 V2X기반의 복합적인 항만용 실시간 로컬 동적지도 (Local Dynamic Map) 생성 및 V2X기반의 협력측위를 통하여서 기존의 독립적인 자율주행차량의 위치 인식보다 더 개선된 고정밀 위치 인식 정보추출이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 복합적인 항만용 동적지도 생성관리시스템의 설계 방안 및 협력측위 기술 적용 방안을 제시하고 이를 활용한 항만 구역내 자율주행차량 및 모든 화물 이송장비들의 실시간 위치 인식뿐만 아니라 이동체의 사전 충돌예측 및 비상정지 안전 제어 가능한 V2X 기반의 인텔리젼스 한 3차원 관제시스템 설계 방안을 제시하고자 한다.
