The educational situation, which resulted from the announced self-isolation regime, intensified the forced decisions on the organization of the distance educational process. The study is topical because of the provision of distance learning based on the experience of Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts. The study was conducted in three stages. Systemic, socio-communicative, competence approaches, sociological methods (questionnaires and interviews) were chosen as methodological tools of the research. The results of a survey of teachers and entrants to higher education institutions on the topic "Using social networks and digital platforms for online classes under the conditions of quarantine restrictions" allowed to scientifically substantiate the need for deeper knowledge of such tools as Google Meet (79%), Zoom (13.78%) and Google Classroom (11.62%), which are preferred by entrants. Almost a third of entrants (34.26%) noted the lack of scientific and methodological support for learning the subjects. The study showed high efficiency of messengers in distance education. The study found that in the process of organizing communication in the student-teacher system, it is necessary to take into account the priority of Telegram on the basis of which it is necessary to implement a chatbot for convenient and effective exchange of information about the educational process. Further research should focus on the effectiveness of the use of Telegram. The effectiveness of using chatbots should also be considered. Chatbots can be used to automate routine components of the learning process.

Objective: To compare a deep learning-based reconstruction (DLR) algorithm for pediatric abdominopelvic computed tomography (CT) with filtered back projection (FBP) and iterative reconstruction (IR) algorithms. Materials and Methods: Post-contrast abdominopelvic CT scans obtained from 120 pediatric patients (mean age ± standard deviation, 8.7 ± 5.2 years; 60 males) between May 2020 and October 2020 were evaluated in this retrospective study. Images were reconstructed using FBP, a hybrid IR algorithm (ASiR-V) with blending factors of 50% and 100% (AV50 and AV100, respectively), and a DLR algorithm (TrueFidelity) with three strength levels (low, medium, and high). Noise power spectrum (NPS) and edge rise distance (ERD) were used to evaluate noise characteristics and spatial resolution, respectively. Image noise, edge definition, overall image quality, lesion detectability and conspicuity, and artifacts were qualitatively scored by two pediatric radiologists, and the scores of the two reviewers were averaged. A repeated-measures analysis of variance followed by the Bonferroni post-hoc test was used to compare NPS and ERD among the six reconstruction methods. The Friedman rank sum test followed by the Nemenyi-Wilcoxon-Wilcox all-pairs test was used to compare the results of the qualitative visual analysis among the six reconstruction methods. Results: The NPS noise magnitude of AV100 was significantly lower than that of the DLR, whereas the NPS peak of AV100 was significantly higher than that of the high- and medium-strength DLR (p < 0.001). The NPS average spatial frequencies were higher for DLR than for ASiR-V (p < 0.001). ERD was shorter with DLR than with ASiR-V and FBP (p < 0.001). Qualitative visual analysis revealed better overall image quality with high-strength DLR than with ASiR-V (p < 0.001). Conclusion: For pediatric abdominopelvic CT, the DLR algorithm may provide improved noise characteristics and better spatial resolution than the hybrid IR algorithm.

Alzheimer's disease is a brain disorder that worsens over time and affects millions of people around the world. It leads to a gradual deterioration in memory, thinking ability, and behavioral and social skills until the person loses his ability to adapt to society. Technological progress in medical imaging and the use of artificial intelligence, has provided the possibility of detecting Alzheimer's disease through medical images such as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). However, Deep learning algorithms, especially convolutional neural networks (CNNs), have shown great success in analyzing medical images for disease diagnosis and classification. Where CNNs can recognize patterns and objects from images, which makes them ideally suited for this study. In this paper, we proposed to compare the performances of Alzheimer's disease detection by using two deep learning methods: You Only Look Once (YOLO), a CNN-enabled object recognition algorithm, and Visual Geometry Group (VGG16) which is a type of deep convolutional neural network primarily used for image classification. We will compare our results using these modern models Instead of using CNN only like the previous research. In addition, the results showed different levels of accuracy for the various versions of YOLO and the VGG16 model. YOLO v5 reached 56.4% accuracy at 50 epochs and 61.5% accuracy at 100 epochs. YOLO v8, which is for classification, reached 84% accuracy overall at 100 epochs. YOLO v9, which is for object detection overall accuracy of 84.6%. The VGG16 model reached 99% accuracy for training after 25 epochs but only 78% accuracy for testing. Hence, the best model overall is YOLO v9, with the highest overall accuracy of 86.1%.
In this paper, we proposed a deep learning based character recognition system through virtual data generation. In order to secure the learning data that takes the largest weight in supervised learning, virtual data was created. Also, after creating virtual data, data generalization was performed to cope with various data by using augmentation parameter. Finally, the learning data composition generated data by assigning various values to augmentation parameter and font parameter. Test data for measuring the character recognition performance was constructed by cropping the text area from the actual image data. The test data was augmented considering the image distortion that may occur in real environment. Deep learning algorithm uses YOLO v3 which performs detection in real time. Inference result outputs the final detection result through post-processing.

This study is the first attempt to raise face recognition ability through machine learning algorithm and apply to CRM's information gathering, analysis and application. In other words, through face recognition of VIP customer in distribution field, we can proceed more prompt and subdivided customized services. The interest in machine learning, which is used to implement artificial intelligence, has increased, and it has become an age to automate it by using machine learning beyond the way that a person directly models an object recognition process. Among them, Deep Learning is evaluated as an advanced technology that shows amazing performance in various fields, and is applied to various fields of image recognition. Face recognition, which is widely used in real life, has been developed to recognize criminals' faces and catch criminals. In this study, two image analysis models, TF-SLIM and Inception-V3, which are likely to be used for criminal face recognition, were selected, analyzed, and implemented. As an evaluation criterion, the image recognition model was evaluated based on the accuracy of the face recognition program which is already being commercialized. In this experiment, it was evaluated that the recognition accuracy was good when the accuracy of the image classification was more than 90%. A limit of our study which is a way to raise face recognition is left as a further research subjects.

The purpose of this paper is to implement a deep learning-based real-time video analysis algorithm that monitors safety of workers in industrial facilities. The worker's clothes were divided into six classes according to whether workers are wearing a helmet, safety vest, and safety belt, and a total of 5,307 images were used as learning data. The experiment was performed by comparing the mAP when weight was applied according to the number of learning iterations for 645 images, using YOLO v4. It was confirmed that the mAP was the highest with 60.13% when the number of learning iterations was 6,000, and the AP with the most test sets was the highest. In the future, we plan to improve accuracy and speed by optimizing datasets and object detection model.

The smart grid replaces the traditional power structure with information inventiveness that contributes to a new physical structure. In such a field, malicious information injection can potentially lead to extreme results. Incorrect, FDI attacks will never be identified by typical residual techniques for false data identification. Most of the work on the detection of FDI attacks is based on the linearized power system model DC and does not detect attacks from the AC model. Also, the overwhelming majority of current FDIA recognition approaches focus on FDIA, whilst significant injection location data cannot be achieved. Building on the continuous developments in deep learning, we propose a Deep Learning based Locational Detection technique to continuously recognize the specific areas of FDIA. In the development area solver gap happiness is a False Data Detector (FDD) that incorporates a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN). The FDD is established enough to catch the fake information. As a multi-label classifier, the following CNN is utilized to evaluate the irregularity and cooccurrence dependency of power flow calculations due to the possible attacks. There are no earlier statistical assumptions in the architecture proposed, as they are "model-free." It is also "cost-accommodating" since it does not alter the current FDD framework and it is only several microseconds on a household computer during the identification procedure. We have shown that ANN-MLP, SVM-RBF, and CNN can conduct locational detection under different noise and attack circumstances through broad experience in IEEE 14, 30, 57, and 118 bus systems. Moreover, the multi-name classification method used successfully improves the precision of the present identification.

Objective: We aimed to investigate whether image standardization using deep learning-based computed tomography (CT) image conversion would improve the performance of deep learning-based automated hepatic segmentation across various reconstruction methods. Materials and Methods: We collected contrast-enhanced dual-energy CT of the abdomen that was obtained using various reconstruction methods, including filtered back projection, iterative reconstruction, optimum contrast, and monoenergetic images with 40, 60, and 80 keV. A deep learning based image conversion algorithm was developed to standardize the CT images using 142 CT examinations (128 for training and 14 for tuning). A separate set of 43 CT examinations from 42 patients (mean age, 10.1 years) was used as the test data. A commercial software program (MEDIP PRO v2.0.0.0, MEDICALIP Co. Ltd.) based on 2D U-NET was used to create liver segmentation masks with liver volume. The original 80 keV images were used as the ground truth. We used the paired t-test to compare the segmentation performance in the Dice similarity coefficient (DSC) and difference ratio of the liver volume relative to the ground truth volume before and after image standardization. The concordance correlation coefficient (CCC) was used to assess the agreement between the segmented liver volume and ground-truth volume. Results: The original CT images showed variable and poor segmentation performances. The standardized images achieved significantly higher DSCs for liver segmentation than the original images (DSC [original, 5.40%-91.27%] vs. [standardized, 93.16%-96.74%], all P < 0.001). The difference ratio of liver volume also decreased significantly after image conversion (original, 9.84%-91.37% vs. standardized, 1.99%-4.41%). In all protocols, CCCs improved after image conversion (original, -0.006-0.964 vs. standardized, 0.990-0.998). Conclusion: Deep learning-based CT image standardization can improve the performance of automated hepatic segmentation using CT images reconstructed using various methods. Deep learning-based CT image conversion may have the potential to improve the generalizability of the segmentation network.

Typical algorithms of deep learning include CNN(Convolutional Neural Networks), which are mainly used for image recognition, and RNN(Recurrent Neural Networks), which are used mainly for speech recognition and natural language processing. Among them, CNN is able to learn from filters that generate feature maps with algorithms that automatically learn features from data, making it mainstream with excellent performance in image recognition. Since then, various algorithms such as R-CNN and others have appeared in object detection to improve performance of CNN, and algorithms such as YOLO(You Only Look Once) and SSD(Single Shot Multi-box Detector) have been proposed recently. However, since these deep learning-based detection algorithms determine the success of the detection in the still images, stable object tracking and detection in the video requires separate tracking capabilities. Therefore, this paper proposes a method of combining Kalman filters into deep learning-based detection networks for improved object tracking and detection performance in the video. The detection network used YOLO v2, which is capable of real-time processing, and the proposed method resulted in 7.7% IoU performance improvement over the existing YOLO v2 network and 20 fps processing speed in FHD images.
Purpose To assess the effect of deep learning image reconstruction (DLIR) for head CT in pediatric patients. Materials and Methods We collected 126 pediatric head CT images, which were reconstructed using filtered back projection, iterative reconstruction using adaptive statistical iterative reconstruction (ASiR)-V, and all three levels of DLIR (TrueFidelity; GE Healthcare). Each image set group was divided into four subgroups according to the patients' ages. Clinical and dose-related data were reviewed. Quantitative parameters, including the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and contrast-to-noise ratio (CNR), and qualitative parameters, including noise, gray matter-white matter (GM-WM) differentiation, sharpness, artifact, acceptability, and unfamiliar texture change were evaluated and compared. Results The SNR and CNR of each level in each age group increased among strength levels of DLIR. High-level DLIR showed a significantly improved SNR and CNR (p < 0.05). Sequential reduction of noise, improvement of GM-WM differentiation, and improvement of sharpness was noted among strength levels of DLIR. Those of high-level DLIR showed a similar value as that with ASiR-V. Artifact and acceptability did not show a significant difference among the adapted levels of DLIR. Conclusion Adaptation of high-level DLIR for the pediatric head CT can significantly reduce image noise. Modification is needed while processing artifacts.
