A study on the perception of 3D virtual fashion before and after COVID-19 using textmining

  • The purpose of this paper is to examine the change in perception of 3D virtual fashion before and after COVID-19 using big data analysis. The data collection period is from January 1, 2017, before the outbreak of COVID-19, to October 30, 2022, after the outbreak. Big data was collected for key words related to 3D virtual fashion extracted from social media such as Naver, Daum, Google, and YouTube using Textom. After the collected words were refined, word cloud, word frequency, connection centrality, network visualization, and CONCOR analysis were performed. As a result of extracting and analyzing 32,461 words with 3D virtual fashion as a keyword, the frequency and centrality of fashion, virtual, and technology appeared the highest, and the frequency of appearance of digital, design, clothing, utilization, and manufacturing was also high. Through this, it was found that 3D virtual fashion is being used throughout the industry along with the development of technology. In particular, the key words that stand out the most after COVID-19 are metaverse and 3D education, which are in high demand in the fashion industry.

Recognition and Perception on Ge-Geol Radish in Icheon Area (이천시 주민의 게걸무에 대한 인지도 및 계승 ${\cdot}$ 발전에 대한 인식)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the recognition and the perception for succession and development on Ge-Geol radish that has been grown in Icheon area. A total of 385 (male 118, female 267) aged over 20 years who lived in Icheon area were investigated from May to June 2006. Seventy five percent of the total subjects were recognized Ge-Geol radish, and only the 40.8% of them were recognized as regional special agriproduct exactly. And the rate of the subjects who had experience to eat Ge-Geol radish was just 40.8%. While preferences on Ge-Geol radish were relatively high among the subjects who have experience to eat. Reasons for liking were 'distinctive (43.8%)', 'eat from a child (24.5%)', 'tasty (15.1%)', and 'nutritious(8.3%)'. Reasons for disliking were 'rough texture (54.8%)', 'tasteless (9.7%)', 'unique smell (9.7%)', 'undesirable color (6.5%)', and 'indistinctive (6.5%)'. Also, most of the subjects considered the need for the succession and the development of Ge-Geol radish. Therefore, for expanding utilization of Ge-Geol radish, it should be contacted easily from a child and be developed as products suited to the consumer's needs by various cooking and processing methods.

Health Behavior and Utilization of University Health Clinics (대학생의 건강생활 실천 및 대학보건실 활용 수준에 관한 연구)

  • Objectives: This study was conducted to analyze health behavior and utilization of university health clinics by college and university students. Methods: There are 376 colleges and universities in Korea as of May 2007. Of them 243 (69.6%) run health clinics in their campuses. Twenty of them were selected and 1,754 students were surveyed by using self reporting questionnaires. The data collected were analyzed by SPSS ver. 12.0. Results: Out of 1,754 students 56.5% were in good health. Of the subjects 15.6% were cigarette smokers, 30% were non drinkers, 20.8% exercise regularly, 53.7% sleep for seven to eight hours a day, 48% had proper body weight (BMI) 20-25) and 20% had physical examination in the past two years. The scores of health practices were higher in male students than female students (P 0.05). Perception rates of university clinics were higher in female students than male students. (P 0.01). Many students have intention to use the clinics (P 0.01). On health promotion program 35.2% of the subjects used clinics for emergency service, 32.8% participated in drinking control program, 32.8% in smoking cessation program, 20.4% in immunization program and 19.2% in regular health screening program. Conclusions: Comprehensive data for health behavior and need of health promotion services by the students should be collected regularly in order to meet the needs of students and faculty members in higher education institutes. The university authorities should pay more attention on the activities of health clinics in order to promote health of the students.

Effects of Discussion Using Newspapers on 5th Grade Elementary School Students' Scientific Academic Achievement and Affective Characteristics (신문을 활용한 토의 학습 활동이 초등학교 5학년 학생들의 과학 학업 성취도와 정의적 특성에 미치는 효과)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate effects of discussion using newspapers on fifth grade elementary school students' academic achievement and affective characteristics related to science. Additionally, this study intended to examine students' ideas about newspaper utilization, discussion based learning and science with questionnaire. The subjects were 59 fifth grade students from two classes. NIE was used in the experimental group and traditional teaching methods in the control group. In pretest and posttest sessions, both groups were evaluated by the academic achievement test, and an affective characteristics related science test. The results of this study showed that the academic achievement of the experimental group which applied discussion using newspapers was significantly higher than that of the control group which applied traditional instruction, especially in terms of knowledge and understanding. Additionally, the results showed that discussion using newspapers had a positive effect on affective domains such as perception, interest and attendance for science classes. In particular, the post-results of the experimental group were higher than pre-results, on the other hand, those of the control group were lower than preresults in all affective domains. It appeared that students had positive thoughts about newspaper utilization, discussion based learning, and science. The half of students who had low academic achievement showed negative reactions for discussion based learning.

A Study on the Utilization, Recognition, and Satisfaction of Environment-Friendly Agricultural Products in School Food Services according to the Type of Food Service in Jeonbuk Area (전북지역 학교급식소의 급식유형에 따른 친환경농산물 이용실태, 학교영양사의 인식 및 만족도 연구)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the utilization, recognition, and satisfaction of environment-friendly agricultural products (EAPs) in school food services according to the type of foodservice in the Jeonbuk area. Among the 270 school food service providers evaluated, 56.3% of the schools were located in an urban area and 43.7% were in a rural area. About 80% of urban schools used the EAPs for school foodservice, and 89.8% in rural schools (p<.05). The purchase frequency of grain (p<.01), fruits (p<.05), and processed foods (e.g. Tofu) (p<.001) was significantly different between the urban and rural schools. The perception of school dietitians in urban and rural schools between the EAPs and general agricultural products was significantly different (p<.05). The most different fact was 'safety' (p<.001). Most school dietitians has a gut understanding and a lot of confidence about the system of EAPs (p<0.01). The satisfaction score with EAPs was 3.35; in the urban schools it was 3.36 and in the rural schools 3.12 (p<.01). The satisfaction with EAPs in urban and rural schools was significantly different with regard to several factors; these were 'design' (p<.05), 'color' (p<.001), 'fresh' (p<.001), and 'diversity' (p<.01). There are conflicting views between the urban and rural schools for the additional costs brought by using EAPs (p<.01). In conclusion, our central and local governments should change their roles in financially positive ways and reflect the issue to make the policy effective.

The Perception and Attitude toward the Attending System of Hospitals and Physician Participating in Attending System in Korea (개방병원제도 운영실태 분석)

  • Though the attending system was first implemented in 2003 to facilitate the efficient utilization of medical resources and specialties, only a few hospitals and physicians are participated in that system. The purpose of this study was to investigate the actual facts which related to operation of attending system and propose a basic information to revitalized of the attending system in Korea. The data were collected between August 1 and October 30, 2005 from 25 hospitals and 42 attending physicians who were in part of the attending system. Medical institutions were unwilling to participate despite the advantages of the attending system with respect to the utilization of medical resources and improvement in the quality of medical services. The primary reason for this was the lack of understanding among physicians about the attending system and the difficulty(lack of time) encountered by the attending physicians in administering care to patients hospitalized in the attending hospitals. Moreover insufficient reimbursement for rendered medical services constituted another important reason. In conclusion, we can state that the establishment of a committee is required to discuss the issues surrounding the attending system and to control the growing disparity between the viewpoints of hospitals and physicians. Regardless, there is a need to develop economical incentives for medical institutes. The attending system served as a useful policy in promoting the medical service system and bringing about an improvement in the management of medical institutes.

Utilization Status and Efforts to Increase Usage of Traditional Foods in School Lunch according to Dietitians' Preference (영양사의 기호도에 따른 학교급식에서 전통음식의 이용실태와 활용증대 방안)

  • The study was conducted to assess school dietitians' preferences for traditional foods, to determine the association with their perception and usage status, and to develop the strategies to increase its utilization of traditional foods in school lunches. The information was obtained by the self-administered questionnaire from the subjects, which were 198 dietitians in schools located in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do. According to the preference for traditional foods, subjects were distributed into three groups (High = 54, Medium = 128, Low = 16). The significances of differences between groups were determined using SPSS 12.0 at p < 0.05. Compared to the dietitians with lower (medium and low) preferences, those with high preferences answered that they had better knowledge (p < 0.001) for traditional foods, and served them more in school lunches (p < 0.01). Also, more dieticians in the high preference group not only felt that they need to train school administrators (p < 0.01) as well as themselves (p < 0.05), but also were currently providing students with the nutrition education on traditional foods (p < 0.05). The results presented the evidence suggesting that having dietitians with higher preference for traditional foods can offer an effective strategy to increase the opportunities for schoolchildren to be exposed to traditional foods. Development of the standard recipes for use in school lunches by the government or the association was answered as the best strategy to increase the use of traditional foods, regardless of the dietitians' preferences.

Summarizing the conclusion is as below. 1) In The Maintenance Covenantnow in force, in definition of Ownership, Utilization, Maintenance, Japan is more ostensive than Korea. 2) The Borderline of Common Using Parts with Exclusive Possessed Parts is [Inner line of Exterior Wall] in Korea and in Japan also. But in Korea it is not in unity in purpose and action or definition and description. 3) In Japan, the Subject of Ownership is defined with hierarchically, as Housing complex-residential Building-individual dwelling, But not in Korea. 4) In Japan, [Exclusively using Common Owned Parts] are defined, But not in Korea.

Utilization and Prospect of Big Data Analysis of Sports Contents (스포츠콘텐츠의 빅데이터 분석 활용과 전망)

  • The big data utilization category in the sports field was mainly focused on the big data analysis to improve the competence of the athlete and the performance. Since then, 'big data technology' which collect and analyze more detailed and diverse data through the application of ICT technology such as IoT and AI has been applied. The use of big data of sports contents in future has value and possibility in the smart environment, but it is necessary to overcome the shortage and limitation of platform to manage and share sports contents. In order to solve such problems, it is important to change the perception of the companies or providers that provide sports contents and cultivate and secure professional personnel capable of providing sports contents. Also, it is necessary to implement policies to systematically manage and utilize big data poured from sports contents.

  • This study investigated the influence of the quality of a business management consulting service and the mediating effect of utilizing a business management consulting service. For this purpose, data was collected from 200 self-employed workers of the Moonchang market in Dasejun, the Yongdap market in Seoul and the Jatgeoeul market in Gapyeong. The result of the study are as follows. First, it was found that the quality of interaction, the quality of the result and the quality of the physical environment have significant influences over peoples' financial aptitude. Second, it was found that the quality of the interaction, the quality of the result and the quality of the physical environment have significant influences over peoples' non-financial aptitudes. Thirds, the evaluation of a mediating effect of utilization of a business management consulting service on the relationship between the quality of a business management consulting service and business performance showed that it has a significant influence in all ways and so this, proved its mediating effect. Therefor, as one of the means to activate traditional markets in Korea, it would be beneficial to actively introduce a business management consulting service and this would achieve a better performance through efforts to change the perception of employees and consultants about post-management of business management consulting services.
