MBL 연수에 참석한 초·중등교사 및 예비교사의 연수 프로그램에 관한 만족도와 MBL 활용에 관한 인식 조사 (A Study on Perception about Using MBL and Satisfaction about Training Program of Elementary and Middle School Teachers and Pre-service Teachers Who Attended the MBL Training)

  • 본 연구는 2009 교육과정이 탐구활동을 강조함과 동시에 MBL의 사용에 대해 직접적으로 권장하고 있음을 기반으로 하여 학교 현장에서의 MBL 활용도를 높이기 위한 목적으로 실시되었다. 초중등 교사 및 예비교사를 대상으로 MBL 활용 연수를 실시하고 연수에 대한 만족도 및 MBL에 활용 대한 인식을 조사한 결과 연수에 대한 만족도가 높은 것으로 나타났으며 장비의 활용가능성 및 학생들의 기대되는 변화 및 교사의 적용의지 모두 높았다. 그 중 학생들의 호기심 및 과학에 대한 흥미가 높아질 것이라고 기대한다는 응답이 가장 높았는데, 이것은 MBL이 학생들의 과학에 대한 흥미부족에 대한 문제 해결을 위한 방안으로 사용될 수 있다고 볼 수 있다. 또한 전반적으로 중등이나 예비교사 보다는 초등교사가, 낮은 경력의 교사보다는 높은 경력의 교사가, MBL을 사용해본 경험이 없는 교사보다는 경험이 있는 교사가 연수에 대한 높은 만족도와 적용 의지를 보이는 것으로 나타났다. MBL 고급 연수 개설시 초등교사나 예비교사들은 STEAM 교육에서의 MBL 활용에 대한 연수를 많 이 희망하였고, 중등교사들은 창의성 신장을 위한 MBL 활용 연수를 희망하였다. MBL 수업을 적용하는데 장애 요소로는 가격의 문제를 가장 많이 지적하였으며, 실험 안내서와 교사 교육의 부족이라는 응답이 다음으로 많았다. 결론적으로 현장에 장비가 충분히 갖추어 지고, 활용 방법에 대한 연수가 지속적으로 제공된다면 과학 교육 현장에서 MBL 활용도를 높일 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. 또한 앞으로 MBL 활용 연수 프로그램을 구성할 때 본 연구의 결과가 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

묵(MOOCs)에 대한 한국 대학교육 전문가의 인식 조사 (A Study on Perception of Korean Universities' Education Specialists on MOOCs)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 묵(MOOCs)에 대한 한국 대학교육 전문가들의 인식을 살펴보고, K-MOOC의 발전방향을 모색하는 것이다. 이를 살펴보기 위해 한국 대학교육 전문가 64명을 대상으로 묵(MOOCs)의 교육적 목표와 그 활용에 관한 미시적 쟁점과 거시적 쟁점에 대한 인식 조사를 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 한국대학교육 전문가들은 묵(MOOCs)의 교육적 목표를 교육 방법의 혁신으로 인식하고 있었다. 또한 묵(MOOCs) 이수증 발급이 학위 제도의 혼란을 야기할 것이라는 데에는 대체로 부정적인 인식을 나타냈는데, 이는 묵(MOOCs)을 보완재로서 인식하는 경향이 커졌기 때문인 것으로 해석된다. 거시적인 차원에서는 전반적으로 K-MOOC에 대해 부정적인 전망을 보이고 있었다. 그러나 K-MOOC의 파괴성을 높게 인식하고 있었기 때문에 묵(MOOCs)의 활용 가능성에 대해 논의해 볼 필요가 있다고 보여 진다. 이에 따라 K-MOOC 활용을 위한 제도적 정비와 대학 간 공동 개발의 가능성을 제언하였다.

초등학교도서관의 봉사 개선을 위한 교사의 기대 (Teachers' Expectations for Reforming Primary School Library Services)

  • 학교도서관 봉사의 목적이 학교 교육을 위한 것이므로 학교 교육의 목적과 학교도서관의 궁극적인 목적은 동일한 것이다. 학교도서관은 항상 새롭고 보다 훌륭한 시설과 풍부한 정보자료를 개발하여야 하며 유능한 전문직 사서교사는 교육과정에 적절하고 합리적인 프로그램을 개발하여 봉사하여야 한다. 학교내외에서 야기되고 있는 저해 요인들로 실질적으로 유명 무실한 학교도서관을 보다 능률적이고 새롭게 개선할 필요가 있다. 초등학교 학생에게 직접적인 영향을 주는 교사들이 학교도서관에 대한 적절한 인식과 기대를 가지고 있다면 교사와 학생들이 학교도서관을 보다 적극적으로 이용하고 활성화시키는 초석이 될 것으로 간주된다. 본 연구에서는 학교도서관의 봉사에 대한 초등학교 교사들의 인식과 기대를 파악하여 향후 초등학교 도서관이 진정한 교수학습의 장으로 활용되도록 하는 제 방향을 찾아보았다. 본 연구에서는 학교도서관 사서의 역할을 개관하고 이에 대한 초등학교 일반 교사들의 인식과 기대에 대한 수준을 측정한 후 이에 따라 활성화 방안을 제시하였다. 조사결과 학교도서관에 대한 중요도, 사서교사의 배치 필요성, 다양한 봉사에 대한 기대, 학교도서관 이용교육수강에 대한 윤곽 등을 강력히 주장하고 있다.

일반의약품 약국 외 판매 이후의 일반의약품 정책에 대한 소비자의 인식 변화 (Changes in Perception of Consumers for Non-prescription Drug Policy since Sales Begins at the Outside of Pharmacy)

  • Purpose: This study was aimed to identify the status of utilization of healthcare services and self-care behaviors, knowledge level and influencing choice factors of non-prescription drugs (OTCs) on consumers since sales of OTCs at the outside of pharmacy in Korea, and to confirm the changes in perception of consumers for OTCs policy through check of perception level for current OTCs policy. Methods: Data was collected from April 2014 to May 2014 from questionnaires by 418 adults who are in university located in Seoul or live in Seoul Metropolitan area but not health science major and healthcare providers. Results: The female gender was 56.6% and University students were 73.9%. The ratio by age was as follows: below 25 (60.9%), 26-30 (18.2%), 30-40s (14.9%) and 50-60s (6.0%). The knowledge level of OTCs for use of medicine, dose and side effects was generally low and especially they knew little how to deal with side effects after taking OTCs on sale at the outside of pharmacy, even though over one year has passed since the policy. The proportion of those who thought the current OTCs policy has problems regarding safety issues since the policy was very high and it was also high that the study group thought there are problems with the current way to sale OTCs and educate employees. Conclusion: After selling OTCs at the outside of pharmacy, the consumers still lacked knowledge of OTCs and did not get correct information properly. Especially, they had little information about the way to deal with side effects after taking OTCs. Public policy should be based on the health of the people and the public health is a national health priority. When all these things are taken into consideration, the government has to strengthen the OTCs policy and provide a safer environment with the accurate drug information for people than developing OTCs policy in the future.

A Study on the Smart Tourism Awareness through Bigdata Analysis

  • Purpose: In the 4th industrial revolution, services that incorporate various smart technologies in the tourism sector have begun to gain popularity. Accordingly, academic discussions on smart tourism have also started to become active in various fields. Despite recent research, the definition of smart tourism is still ambiguous, and it is not easy to differentiate its scope or characteristics from traditional tourism concepts. Thus, this study aims to analyze the perception of smart tourism exposed online to identify the current point of smart tourism in Korea and present the research direction for conceptualizing smart tourism suitable for the domestic situation. Research design, data, and methodology: This study analyzes the perception of smart tourism exposed online based on 20,198 news data from portal sites over the past six years. Data on words used with smart tourism were collected from the leading portal sites Naver, Daum, and Google. Text mining techniques were applied to identify the social awareness status of smart tourism. Network analysis was used to visualize the results between words related to smart tourism, and CONCOR analysis was conducted to derive clusters formed by words having similarity. Results: As a result of keyword analysis, the frequency of words related to the development and construction of smart tourism areas was high. The analysis of the centrality of the connection between words showed that the frequency of keywords was similar, and that the words "smartphones" and "China" had relatively high connection centrality. The results of network analysis and CONCOR indicated that words were formed into eight groups including related technologies, promotion, globalization, service introduction, innovation, regional society, activation, and utilization guide. The overall results of data analysis showed that the development of smart tourism cities was a noticeable issue. Conclusions: This study is meaningful in that it clearly reflects the differences in the perception of smart tourism between online and research trends despite various efforts to develop smart tourism in Korea. In addition, this study highlights the need to understand smart tourism concepts and enhance academic discussions. It is expected that such academic discussions will contribute to improving the competitiveness of smart tourism research in Korea.

보완대체요법에 대한 당뇨병환자의 인식 및 이용현황 (Perception and Use of Complementary and Alternative Medicine in Diabetic Patients in Busan Area)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the perception and utilization of Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) for diabetic patients in Busan. The subjects were 227 patients at two general hospitals (over 400 bed). This study was performed through the interviewing process using questionnaires conducted from January to April, 2010. Of a total of subjects, 109 patients (48.0%) had taken CAM at least one time. The patients used CAM recognized that they were 'auxiliary medicines' (39.4%), 'supplementary health foods' (32.1%) and 'medicines' (19.3%), but inexperienced patients perceived them as 'supplementary health foods' (29.6%), 'unscientific treatment' (22.6%) and 'medicines' (20.2%), It was significantly different between two groups of patients (p < 0.001). The number of CAM types used for the patients was 51. The CAM types were plant foods (64.3%), dietary supplement (23.6%) and animal diets (12.1%). The patients used an average of 5.9 different kinds of CAM and an average of 3.8 years them and paid \93,345 per month. The patients with diabetic complications and for longer morbidity periods used CAM for significantly (p < 0.05) longer periods. The mean effectiveness scores of the patients used CAM were 3.31/5.00 for efficacy satisfaction, 3.58/5.00 for fewer side effects compared to those of oral drugs, 3.60/5.00 for psychological stability, 3.81/5.00 for easiness to use, and 3.06/5.00 for economic satisfaction. Of the patients that used CAM, 55.9% did not consult with doctors about CAM. More than two-thirds of the patients (77.1%) did not feel the need to consult with doctors.

스마트폰 기반 나이스 학생·학부모서비스 제공을 위한 인식조사 (Perception Research on Providing for NEIS Student and Parent Services based on Smartphone)

  • 최근 스마트폰 사용자가 증가함에 따라 교육을 비롯한 전 분야에 걸쳐 모바일 서비스가 확대되고 있다. 학생의 학교생활정보를 제공하는 나이스 학생 학부모서비스도 늘어나는 스마트폰 수요에 맞는 서비스 제공이 절실한 형편이다. 본 연구에서는 이를 위해 학생과 학부모를 대상으로 온라인 설문조사를 실시하여 기존 서비스 제공요소에 대한 학생과 학부모의 인식 및 차이점을 콘텐츠 유용성, 서비스 활용성, 사용자 친화성의 변인들로 분석하였다. 설문자료의 신뢰성 분석, 상관분석 및 다중회귀분석 결과 통계적으로 유의하며 사용자 친화성 요인이 사용자의 만족도 및 스마트폰 서비스 이용의사에 가장 큰 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 이를 통해 스마트폰 기반 나이스 학생 학부모서비스 및 교육정보서비스 제공방향을 제시하였다.

과민대장증후군(Irritable Bowel Syndrome)의 한의임상 진료현황에 대한 설문조사 연구 (A Survey on the Clinical Practice Patterns of Irritable Bowel Syndrome in Korean Medicine)

  • Objective: This study investigated the perception, diagnosis, and treatment of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) in the general population, in patients, and in Korean medicine doctors (KMDs) in order to provide basic information for the development of Korean medicine clinical practice guidelines for IBS. Methods: A questionnaire was developed in two versions, one for the general population/patients and one for KMDs. The questions were about the general perception, diagnosis, and treatment of IBS. Both online and offline surveys were conducted using these questionnaires. Results: In total, 213 general population/patients and 435 KMDs responded to the survey. The results of the analysis were as follows. Most of the KMDs diagnosed IBS based on clinical aspects. Acupuncture was the most common treatment, followed by prescription herbal medicine, moxibustion, and manufactured herbal medicine. 34.3% of KMDs used clinical practice guidelines for IBS patient treatment. 57.8% of patients were diagnosed with IBS by doctors at primary medical institutions, and 53.1% were diagnosed with colonoscopy. More than half of the IBS patients who have been treated with Korean medicine said they experienced improvement of symptoms and prevention of recurrence, but more than 70% of the respondents said future safety and effectiveness studies of Korean medicine were needed. Conclusions: In spite of the positive perception of IBS treatment with Korean medicine, actual utilization was relatively low. The development and promotion of, as well as education about, appropriate and reasonable Korean medicine practice guidelines for IBS is necessary.

빅데이터를 활용한 패션쇼에 대한 소비자 인식 연구 (A Study of Consumer Perception on Fashion Show Using Big Data Analysis)

  • This study examines changes in consumer perceptions of fashion shows, which are critical elements in the apparel industry and a means to represent a brand's image and originality. For this purpose, big data in clothing marketing, text mining, semantic network analysis techniques were applied. This study aims to verify the effectiveness and significance of fashion shows in an effort to give directions for their future utilization. The study was conducted in two major stages. First, data collection with the key word, "fashion shows," was conducted across websites, including Naver and Daum between 2015 and 2018. The data collection period was divided into the first- and second-half periods. Next, Textom 3.0 was utilized for data refinement, text mining, and word clouding. The Ucinet 6.0 and NetDraw, were used for semantic network analysis, degree centrality, CONCOR analysis and also visualization. The level of interest in "models" was found to be the highest among the perception factors related to fashion shows in both periods. In the first-half period, the consumer interests focused on detailed visual stimulants such as model and clothing while in the second-half period, perceptions changed as the value of designers and brands were increasingly recognized over time. The findings of this study can be utilized as a tool to evaluate fashion shows, the apparel industry sectors, and the marketing methods. Additionally, it can also be used as a theoretical framework for big data analysis and as a basis of strategies and research in industrial developments.

정신과 환자의 한의의료 이용경험 및 인식에 대한 질적 분석 - 예비연구 (A Qualitative Analysis of Psychiatric Patients' Experiences and Perceptions of Korean Medicine Utilization - Preliminary Study)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate the experience and perception of using Korean medicine treatments for patients with mental disorders. Methods: The method of a qualitative analysis was used, and semi-structured interviews were conducted. The researchers developed the survey questionnaires with consultation from psychiatrists from various university hospitals. Before conducting interviews, an IRB was approved KHSIRB-21-131 (RA), and the Hankook Research Company managed the interviews. The question composition comprised 11 questions based on symptoms and treatment situations accompanying treatment due to mental distress, perception of Korean medicine, awareness of treatment costs, and awareness of treatment costs. Results: A total of six patients were interviewed. Each interviewee took 90 minutes to answer questions. Through the analysis of the data, the patients comprised four categories: characteristics, awareness of Korean medicine, awareness of Western treatment, and daily life due to mental disorder. The experience and perception of patients using Korean medicine showed positive attitudes. There was an opinion among patients that Korean medicine treatment was less dependent on drugs, and had fewer side effects, than Western medicine. Some patients said that Korean medical treatment is expensive and burdensome medical expenses. Some patients were not aware of the application of insurance to mitigate medical expenses. Conclusions: Based on the findings of the study, it is urgent to expand the application of insurance benefits to Korean medicine.
