  • Since the residential load is an AC load and the output of solar cell is a DC power, the photovoltaic system needs the DC/AC converter to utilize solar cell. In case of driving to interact with utility line, in order to operate at unity power factor, converter must provide the sinusoidal wave current and voltage with same phase of utility line. Since output of solar cell is greatly fluctuated by insolation, it is necessary that the operation of solar cell output in the range of the vicinity of maximum power point. In this paper, DC/AC converter is three phase PWM converter with smoothing reactor. And then, feedforward control used to obtain a superior characteristic for current control and digital PLL circuit used to detect the phase of utility line.

  • There is an application which uses smoothing reacter connecting each of the phases in order to make the system smaller comparison with an application using the insulating transformer in the utility interactive photovoltaic generation system using the PWM converter. In this case, there might be the occurence of the unbalance of output voltage, by the difference of smoothing reactor, connected on each of the lines. Therefore this study proposes that the method which maintains the balance and compensates the unblance which occured by the different volume of the smoothing reactor connected on each of the lines.

  • Recently, new generation systems using solar cells or fuel cells are under development. Particularly, it is expected that small scale, utility interactive, dispersed PV system will be widely diffused in the near future. The inverter used in coupling the PV array with utility lines is an important factor determining the overall performance of power generation systems. This paper presents the design and control method of the single-phase PV inverter system that is capable of compensating reactive power including harmonic distortions. It is shown that reactive power caused by rectifier load can be compensated by the proposed inverter system.

This paper summarizes the results of these efforts by offering a snapshot of the configuration of photovoltaic in residential applications. The status of PV system components and inter-connection and safety equipment will be summarized. also, This System is able to alteration the angle of inclination and direction. Hence this paper discusses only points that might be useful for application.

  • This paper presents a Photovoltaic Generation system using a Space Vector Modulation. PWM voltage source inverter using inverter consists of complex type of electric power converter to compensate for the defect, that is solar cell cannot be developed continuously by connecting with the source of electric power for ordinary use. It can cause the effect of saving electric power, from 10 to 20[%]. Synchronous signal and control signal was processed by the 56F8323 microprocessor for stable modulation. Also, Waveforms output current and voltage of system controlled so that phase conforms and can supply electric power that stabilize by the unit power factor.

  • Recently, the study of islanding phenomenon, maintains its operation even when the utility grid is removed has lead to the trend of utility interactive inverters in photovoltaic generation systems. In this paper, a novel Anti-islanding method is presented. the proposed method can keep the real average power component constant by MPPT control and cause the load current frequency with only change of reactive power component under the islanding condition. its periodical change of Reactive power component can decrease the NDZ(Non-Detective zone) so that the detection of various loads will be possible. the insufficient effect if additional reactive power component to the grid is proved theoretically and the islanding detection is also confirmed from a experimental result with a inverter for 3kW photovoltaic generation system applied the proposed Anti-islanding method.

For the power consumption reduction of proposed system, we used the electromotive control system. So as to verify the propriety of proposed system, we made a Pilot Plant and examined the system.
