  • To ensure competitiveness in the modem automotive market, process and material planning should be performed concurrently with new car developments. In automotive general assembly shops, thus, new business workflows and supporting environments are inevitable to reduce the manufacturing preparation time in developing a new car in the manner of concurrent and collaborative engineering. Since complete material planning for a whole general assembly system is a huge and complex job, several planners should execute their planning jobs and share information. Therefore, each planner should provide others with his/her results with continuous on-line communication and cooperation. In this research, a web-based system for concurrent and collaborative process and material planning for automotive general assembly via 3D digital mock-up S/W is developed. By using this system, savings in time and cost of process and material planning are possible, and the reliability of the planning result is improved.

  • Acoustic noise and vibration of a BLDC motor is a coupled phenomenon between mechanical characteristics and electromagnetic origins through the motor air-gap. When a relative misalignment of rotor in the air-gap center exists on the assemblage, it is considered to influence the motor system characteristics. In this paper, the back electro motive force(BEMF) is analyzed by Finite Element Method(FEM) and verified by experiments for the SPM and IPM type motors. For magnetic field analysis, a FEM is used to account for the magnetic saturation. Using these results, the FEM is made to determine the appropriate electromagnetic field analysis in BLDC motors with rotor eccentricity ratio. A radial magnetic imbalance force of BLDC motor with rotor eccentricity is analyzed. Results demonstrate that the imbalance force is increased according to the degree of misalignment. An IPM motor, mostly chosen to realize high-speed operation, shows a worse effect on magnetic unbalanced forces and dynamic responses compared with SPM motor due to magnetic saturation when the rotor eccentricity exists.

Uncoupling Protein, UCP-4 May Be Involved in Neuronal Defects During Aging and Resistance to Pathogens in Caenorhabditis elegans

  • Uncoupling proteins (UCPs) are mitochondrial inner membrane proteins that function to dissipate proton motive force and mitochondrial membrane potential. One UCP has been identified in Caenorhabditis elegans (C. elegans), namely UCP-4. In this study, we examined its expression and localization using a GFP marker in C. elegans. ucp-4 was expressed throughout the body from early embryo to aged adult and UCP-4 was localized in the mitochondria. It is known that increased mitochondrial membrane protential leads to a reactive oxygen species (ROS) increase, which is associated with age-related diseases, including neurodegenerative diseases in humans. A ucp-4 mutant showed increased mitochondrial membrane protential in association with increased neuronal defects during aging, and the neurons of ucp-4 overexpressing animals showed decreased neuronal defects during aging. These results suggest that UCP-4 may be involved in neuroprotection during aging via relieving mitochondrial membrane protential. We also investigated the relationship between UCP-4 and innate immunity because increased ROS can affect innate immunity. ucp-4 mutant displayed increased resistance to the pathogen Staphylococcus aureus compared to wild type. The enhanced immunity in the ucp-4 mutant could be related to increased mitochondrial membrane protential, presumably followed by increased ROS. In summary, UCP-4 might have an important role in neuronal aging and innate immune responses through mediating mitochondrial membrane protential.

16종광 도비직기에서 네트워크조직의 디자인발전에 관한 연구 (A Study on Development of network draft design on 16 shaft dobby loom)

  • Through network draft, it′s possible to describe curve draft with main motive in a lobby loom and to fulfill draft design more conveniently thanks to the development of computer device. Network draft was introduced by Alice Schlein, who is an American weaving artist, and I had ever published research paper on "The unfolding and development of network draft using computer dobby system" . The purpose of the next study was to develop the design of network draft while do make a design network draft in a dobby loom with 16 shafts, and could reach follow conclusion as a result of designing a variety of drafts. The initial of 4-end in a loom with 16 shafts was a basic condition to describe more perfect shape in comparison with draft in 8 shafts through the development of network. The development of draft line was essential to deride the pattern of fabric, and the pattern of draft is decided according to selecting key peg plan. Thereby, could get a variety of draft patterns derive from mix key peg plan with initial selected by developing the kind of draft line and applying diverse key peg plan. As for the variation and diversification of draft line, the shape of patters varied depending col the curve extent and connectivity of draft line and the size of curve. The pattern of network draft can be changed infinitely by free round curve of draft line. In addition, a variety of draft designs shall be developed by increasing the number of shaft, enlarging the scale of draft line, and developing more creative draft line.

  • 다양한 미디어를 통한 문화콘텐츠가 국가의 주요 성장동력산업이 되는 현대에 시각문화콘텐츠의 효과적인 생산을 위한 논리적이고 실용적인 분석 및 생산방법론을 모색하는 것은 의미가 있다. 이에 시각문화를 배경으로 문화콘텐츠 개념을 정리하고, 시각문화콘텐츠의 창작 모티브로서의 재미의 요소를 분석하였다. 그리하여 향후 경제적 가치를 창출하고 재미를 제공할 수 있는 시각문화콘텐츠 생산을 가능하게 하는 분석방법론을 고찰하여 제시하였다. 이것은 주로 기호학적 접근방법을 통한 분석방법론인데. 찰스 모리스 기호학 이론에 근거한 분석 매트릭스, 롤랑 바르트의 의미작용 이론 그리고 로만 야콥슨의 커뮤니케이션 기능 이론에 근거한 분석 매트릭스이다. 이러한 분석 매트릭스는 '재미'의 매커니즘을 다양한 층위로 연구하는데 참고자료가 되며, 시각문화콘텐츠에 재미의 요소를 논리적으로 활용할 수 있게 하는 근거가 될 수 있다.

  • 본 연구는 SNS 이용자들을 대상으로 이용동기를 분석하여, 각 이용동기의 중간값을 기준으로 상, 중, 하로 구분하고, 정보교류, 네트워크 밀도, 정보신뢰도, 유대인식의 차이를 알아보았다. 소셜 네트워크 이용 동기는 정보추구 동기, 사회적 영향동기, 오락적 동기, 네트워크 형성동기로 나타났다. 이러한 이용동기 수준에 따라 종속변인으로 설정한 정보교류 정도, 네트워크 밀도, 정보신뢰도, 유대인식에 차이가 나타났다. 특히 정보교류 정도와 정보의 신뢰성은 4가지 동기 수준에 따라 차이가 나타났으며, 네트워크 밀도와 유대인식의 차이는 사회적 영향 동기 수준에 따라 차이가 나타났다.

′디지털 회로′ 학습을 위한 웹 코스웨어의 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of a Web Courseware for learning ′Digital Circuit′)

  • 본 논문에서는 '디지털 회로' 과목을 효과적으로 학습할 수 있는 웹 코스웨어를 구현함에 있어, 웹 서버 시스템에 구축한 데이터베이스를 이용함으로써 교육정보의 갱신을 용이하게 하였으며, 학습에 대한 이해와 상호작용을 증진시키기 위해 그래픽, 애니메이션, 음성 등의 멀티미디어 요소를 제공하고 그리고 실습 위주의 시뮬레이션형 웹 코스웨어를 설계하고 구현했다. 그 결과, 학습자들에게 시각 및 청각적 효과를 제공함으로써 학습동기를 유발시키고 학습효과를 높일 수 있었다. 또한 필요에 따라 학습내용을 보강할 수 있어 다양한 내용의 학습을 할 수 있다. 더 나아가 결과에 대한 피드백을 제공함으로써 학습에 대한 이해를 증진시킬 수 있었다. 앞으로 저장기능을 가지는 회로를 추가함으로써 좀 더 복잡하고 많은 기능을 가지는 회로의 설계 및 구현에 대한 보완이 필요하다.

여성의 외모관리 행동의 동기연구 - 성형수술·비만체형관리 사례를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Motives of Women's Appearance-Management Behavior - Focusing on Plastic Surgery and Obesity Treatment -)

  • The purpose of the study was to identify the motives of women's appearance-management behavior, and examine how women perceived the appearance -management behavior and pursuit of ideal body image. The depth interview method was managed to five female subjects who had experiences in plastic surgery and obesity treatment. The instance analysis used in this study. The results were as follows : There were four types of women's appearance-management behavior. First, women perceived themselves by using other people's evaluation, and it was the first motive of appearance-management behavior. It shows that appearance is not based on the real self-image but is the evaluated self-image by others. Second, women were willing to suffer the pain in the plastic surgery and obesity treatment by the expectation of appearance improvement. It means the result of reducing the difference between the actual self-figure and the ideal self-image. Third, the sexual discrimination culture had an influence on appearance-management behavior. It seems the sense of male superiority spreaded over the Korean society. Lastly, women improved self-satisfaction and self-esteem through their physical appearance as an alternative method for better life.

국내 패션모델 실태 분석 (제1보) (An Analysis of Actual Condition on the Fashion Model in Korea)

  • This study was designed to investigate actual conditions(the types and the personal physical job related factors) of fashion model in Korea. Survey was done through questionnaire data, 194 fashion models were involved survey. The data were analyzed by using frequency, cluster analysis. The results of this study were as follows : 1) The largest sample were as follows (about personal physical related factors) : unmarried, college graduate and undergraduate, resident in the Seoul, 2-24 yrs female with 175-177 cm, 52-54 kg, B-W-H (33-24-35 inch). 2) The largest sample (about job related factors) were as follows: getting private educational institution, 1-2 yrs job experience, B grade, less than 600,000 won for salaries, 100,000-190,000 won at a stage, 5-6 yrs duration of model work, inexperience in the international fashion stage, take up a foreign language, fashion magazine for fashion source, image and look of individuality for a necessary condition. The motive for job was the concern in the job. Problems with a guarantee were pointed out for the betterment working conditions. 3) The types of fashion model were classified into 4 types : the type of lack of professionalism, the type of show off one's talents, the type of dissatisfaction with working condition, the type of maturity of professionalism.

의복관여에 따른 의복구매행동에 관한 연구 (A Study on Clothing Buying Behavior by Clothing Involvement)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship of clothing involvement and clothing buying behavior of women. A questionnaire was developed to measure clothing involvement, clothing purchasing motives, clothing purchasing criteria, fashion information sources, store selection criteria, and demographic characteristics. The questionnaire was administered to 430 female adults in Taegu. The data were analyzed using percentage, frequency, factor analysis, and t-test. The results of the study were s follows: 1. Subjects were divided into low clothing involved and high clothing involved groups. 2. Three dimensions of clothing purchasing motives were derived by factor analysis such as Aesthetic dependant, Impulsive, and Practical motive. Clothing purchasing criteria were factor analysed as Aesthetic, Qualitative, External, and Economical criterion. Fashion information sources were factor analysed as Printed & audio-visual oriented media, Marketer intensive search, Store search, Observation & Interpersonal search, and Experience. Store selection criteria were factor analyzed as Merchandise & Store atmosphere, Store convenience, and Brand & fashion. 3. There were significant differences between high involved and low involved consumers in clothing purchasing behavior. The high involved consumers showed more importance than low involved consumers about purchasing criteria expecially in aesthetic dependant. The high involved consumers put more importance to aesthetic, qualitative, and external criterion as clothing purchasing criteria. The high involved information sources. The high involved consumers were more concerned about merchandise & store atmosphere, and brand & fashion than low involved consumers in store selection criteria.
