  • Purpose: The ramp is an important facility for the barrier free access and vertical circulation of users of various buildings, including users of walker, wheelchair users, stroller users, and baggage carriers. The installation standards for ramps in Korea have various problems during construction and BF certification. It is necessary to improve the criteria for ensuring practical mobility and safety. Method: Korean standard, International Standard(ISO 21542, 2011), German Standard(DIN 18040-1, 2010), Austrian Standard(OENORM B 1600, 2017), Swiss Standard(Norm SIA 500, 2009), Canadian Standard(Building Standards Guide, 2017), American Standard(ADA Standards, 2010) were investigated and analyzed. A comprehensive improvement of the ramp installation standards is proposed. Results: The ramp is a necessary facility for the barrier free access and vertical circulation of the disabled. It shall be installed with comprehensive consideration of the appropriate slope of the ramp, the distance of the continuous slope, the handle and upstand for pedestrian safety. In order to improve convenience, setting the proper slope and limiting the length of the slope are very important, and improvements are required to the levels presented by international and foreign standards. The unclear standards of Korean law and BF certification standards should be clearly improved so as not to be misinterpreted in construction and Barrier Free Certification. Implication: International and foreign standards should be reviewed to ensure practical mobility and safety. And comprehensive improvement measures should be presented through continuous research.

  • The cloud computing is a system that provides IT resources service by using internet technologies, which grabs lots of attention today. Though cloud storage services provide service users with convenience, there is a problem in which data confidentiality is not guaranteed because it is hard for data owners to control the access to the data. This article suggested the technique by applying Public-Key Cryptosystem only to a block after dividing users' data into blocks in order to protect users' data in cloud system. Thus confidentiality and integrity are given to users' data stored in cloud storage server.

  • We conducted this study to identify the accommodation applications users' lifestyle types and the composition factors for consumers' accommodation applications selection attributes and to identify the difference in the selection attributes perception of accommodation applications between groups classified by user's lifestyle types. According to the study, 6 factors were derived as the accommodation applications users' lifestyle types and were named social/leisure-oriented type, fashion-seeking type, culture-seeking type, self-examining type, self-centered type, family-oriented type. Also 6 factors were derived as the accommodation applications selection attributes and were named convenience, interactivity, economic efficiency, transaction reliability, product reliability and informativeness. Valid clusters were divided into four groups and were named culture/tourism group, self-examining group, passive and cautious group and Social and practicality-seeking group. Most of the selection attributes perception of accommodation applications between groups had statistically significant differences(p<.05), except for some items of transaction reliability. Based on the results of this study, we should strive to establish effective marketing strategies that reflect differences in the selection attributes perception of the accommodation application between groups classified by users' lifestyle types.

This paper examined a variety of users' perceptions on welfare facilities using closed rural schools. For this study, the descriptive survey research design was conducted at the EZER located in Kyungsnangbuk-do. The sample size of 200 was selected through convenience sampling and data collection was completed by a self-completion written questionnaires. Main findings are as follows: 1) the level of users' relative satisfaction with welfare facilities using closed rural schools was generally positive, main factor associated with relative satisfaction was facilities and surrounding environment at closed rural schools, 2) socioeconomic usefulness of closed rural schools was also was generally positive, main factors for revitalization were adequate facilities and places, accessible and convenient places, 3) future necessity and willingness for welfare facilities using closed rural schools were overwhelmingly positive, children or youth were revealed as a priority service target. Finally, theses analyses show that a high proportion in the rural welfare sector, especially seemed to have a positive impact on bridging negative gabs between urban and rural in the socioeconomic development and social welfare.

  • Purpose: This study examined the relationship between the factors (Credibility, Usability) and user Innovativeness of the ChatGPT on TRA (Theory of Reasoned Action; Subjective Norm, Attitude) and Switching Intention. TRA and Innovation Diffusion Theory (IDT) were used. Research design, data and methodology: From April 26 to 27, 2023, an online panel survey agency was commissioned to conduct a survey of GhatGPT users in their 20s and 40s in Korea, and a total of 210 people were used for the final analysis. Verification of the research model was performed using SPSS and AMOS. Results: First, ChatGPT factors (Credibility, Usability) were found to have positive effects on TRA (Subjective Norm, Attitude). Second, ChatGPT user Innovativeness was found to have a positive effect on TRA (Subjective Norm, Attitude). Third, ChatGPT users' TRA (Subjective Norm, Attitude) were found to have positive effects on Switching Intention. Conclusions: These results mean that the superior Usability and Credibility of ChatGPT and the Innovativeness of users have a significant effect on the Switching Intention from existing Portal Service (Naver, Google, Daum, etc.) to ChatGPT. Generative AI such as ChatGPT should strive to develop various services such as improving the convenience of functions so that innovative users can use them easily and conveniently in order to provide services that meet expectations.

  • This study develops an extended model to predict customer satisfaction in easy payment systems based on information systems success model. Our data was collected from easy payment systems users and analyzed using PLS. This study selected four variables as easy payment systems characteristics(convenience, variety, security, speed) along with gender being used as a moderating variable. The results showed that convenience and security are turned out to affect customer satisfaction. Additionally, the test of difference in gender revealed that with respect to gender, moderating effects exist in security and speed. This implies that this study can provide different promotion strategies according to gender. Overall, the proposed model could be used to predict customers' willingness to pay on the easy payment systems.

  • In this paper, we propose an indirect PIN entry method that provides enhanced security against smudge, recording, and thermal attacks. Conventional mobile PIN entry methods use on-screen numeric keypad for both use of display and entry. Thus These methods are vulnerable to aforementioned attacks. In our method, passcode is same as that of the conventional PIN entry methods, and that is user-friendly way for mobile device users. Therefore, our method does not reduce user convenience which is one of the advantages of the conventional methods. In addition, our method is not a method of directly touching the on-screen numeric keypad for entering passcode like the conventional PIN methods. Unlike the conventional methods, our method uses an indirect passcode entry method that applied a passcode indicating key. According to the performance comparison result, proposed method provides user convenience similar to the conventional methods, and also provides a higher level of security and safety against recording, smudge, and thermal attacks than the conventional methods.
