As the use of internet becomes proliferated, a great amount of information is provided through diverse channels. Users require effective information providing service and we have studied the conversational agent that exchanges information between users and agents using natural language dialogue. In this paper, we develop a question answering agent providing the corresponding answer by analyzing the user's intention using artificial intelligence techniques such as pattern matching and Bayesian network We work out various problems in knowledge representation of users by constructing keyword synonym database. The proposed method is applied to designing an agent for the introduction of a fashion web site, which confirms that it responds more flexibly to the user's queries.

In this paper, we present WebGIS techniques that can acquire more information from users who offered information and location of region's crops. So that it can be search the information based on Ontology defining Metadata for understand and control more accurately. And this paper shows how to implement about prototype of crops information system for obtaining information of location. Our object is to offer results Service form search, to analyze question of user and to show the exact geographic information about question of user. This study presents the growth strategy of outsourcing service by finding out the differences of importance between user firms and system integration(SI) firms in Korean outsourcing business, The result of data analysis reveals that there are siginificant differences between user firms and SI firms in some components of information systems(IS) outsourcing services. User firms regarded integation of distributea data centers as the prominent issue of IS environment changes. Meanwhile, SI firms chose management of IS/VAN center, office automation(OA), and management of global network, as the more important issues in the application area of outsourcing. Among the merits of outsourcing, both of them considered cost reduction and IS flexibility as the most important factors, However, they chose the difficulty of management control and the lack of operation knowledge among the demerits of outsourcing, Also, they commonly selected overall IS consulting among the components of outsourcing diffusion. In the question of future outsourcing services, user firms chose the adoption of client/server architecture, while SI firms selected the application of multimedia. These results show that there are some differences of preference between user firms and SI firms. Most of user firms consider the outsourcing to maximize information utilization, while the service suppliers focus on new IT adoption and its application to organization. For the strategic use of outsourcing services, SI firms are required to establish the diffusion strategy to meet the outsourcing needs of user firms.

Background: The purpose of this exploratory study is to explain where, when and how the introduction of user fee system works in low and middle income countries using context, mechanism, and outcome configuration. Methods: Considering advanced research in realist review approach, we made a review process including those following 4 steps. They are identifying the review question, initial theory and mechanism, searching and selecting primary studies, and extracting, analyzing, and synthesizing relevant data. Results: User fee had a detrimental effect on medical utilization in low and middle income countries. Also previous and current interventions and community participation were critical context in user fee system. Those contexts were associated with intervention initiation and recognition and coping strategies. Such contexts and mechanisms were critical explanatory factors in medical utilization. Conclusion: User fee is a series of interventions that are fragile and dynamic. So the introduction of user fee system needs a comprehensive understanding of previous and new intervention, policy infrastructure, and other factors that can influence on medical utilization.

This paper describes a wearable multi-modal user interface design and its implementation for a teleoperated field robot system. Recently some teleoperated field robots are employed for hazard environment applications (e.g. rescue, explosive ordnance disposal, security). To complete these missions in outdoor environment, the robot system must have appropriate functions, accuracy and reliability. However, the more functions it has, the more difficulties occur in operation of the functions. To cope up with this problem, an effective user interface should be developed. Furthermore, the user interface is needed to be wearable for portability and prompt action. This research starts at the question: how to teleoperate the complicated slave robot easily. The main challenge is to make a simple and intuitive user interface with a wearable shape and size. This research provides multi-modalities such as visual, auditory and haptic sense. It enables an operator to control every functions of a field robot more intuitively. As a result, an EOD (explosive ordnance disposal) demonstration is conducted to verify the validity of the proposed wearable multi-modal user interface.

Online Q&A for the National Institute of the Korean Language provides expert's answers for questions about the Korean language, in which many similar questions are repeatedly posted like other Q&A boards. So, if a system automatically finds questions that are similar to a user's question, it can immediately provide users with recommendable answers to their question and prevent experts from wasting time to answer to similar questions repeatedly. In this paper, we set 5 classes of questions based on its topic which are frequently asked, and propose to classify questions to those classes. Our system searches similar questions by combining topic similarity, vector similarity and sequence similarity. Experiment shows that our method improves search correctness with topic classification. In experiment, Mean Reciprocal Rank(MRR) of our system is 0.756, and precision for the first result is 68.31% and precision for top five results is 87.32%.

The study suggests an answer to the question of what determines category diversification of Internet portals in Korea. First, as external factors, competition intensity and market growth are hypothesized to have influence on the degree of category diversification. Second, an internal factor, user loyalty to portals, is hypothesized to influence negatively category diversification. The study performed empirical analysis based on weekly portal-specific panel data of eighteen internet portals in Korea during the period between 2001 and 2004. The result shows that category diversification increases as competition intensity increases, and that category diversification decreases as user loyalty increases. There was no effect of market-level growth rate on category diversification.

Examine the communication between user and librarian in the digital reference services and discuss the limitations and possibilities in the quality of reference interview. Along with a comparison of traditional vs. electronic reference interview, 26 digital reference services in academic libraries were investigated. Some strategies were suggested to improve the quality of user-librarian communication in the process of accessing the service, of question negotiation and of responding to the questions.

Software reliability prediction is a statistical method to put in place a timely software development practice useful for objective assessment of bidders. The current study suggests one research method that enables reliability assessment of such previous projects by studying user satisfaction and project management history. If incorporated into the existing acquisition process, the reliability assessment method will further enhance objectivity and accuracy in bidder selection process. The GQM(Goal Question Metric) paradigm was used to identify assessment metrics for bidder evaluation and questionnaires were collected from users to create user satisfaction indexes. In addition, 'weight of evidence', the most appropriate categorical method, was used to isolate attributes of each variable that may contribute to reliability assessment.

In this paper we propose an active learning method that makes a database for the information about certificates and practical examinations and accesses it easily. First of all, this method makes it possible to evaluate students individually, improves the motive of learning and gives students a sense of achievement by providing a user-specific question filtering technique using user pronto information by weight. And, it elevates the acquisition rate of certificates by advising and managing for certificate-acquisition and it also draw more interest and understanding for future directions.
