  • In recent years, electronic commerce (EC) business has shown a tremendous growth, which put additional cognitive and time-consuming loads on the human users. Intelligent software agents are one key technology to support users doing real EC-business.We propose an Agent-based Business-to-Business(B2B) Marketplace on Internet, where constituent members cooperate or compete in order to get the best possible deals, with the aim of reducing user loads.In case of B2B deals, the good itself shows a complicated behaviour, e.g.price discounts depending o the lot, discounts for cross-buying and so on. It is impractical to concentrate all the knowledge about the goods and the trading strategies at the buyer/seller side. Instead, we include such information in the good itself, which allow us to model the goods as being agents.

  • This paper introduces a novel concept of 'Emotional Communication' for future smart phone. While traditional information based communication technologies focus on how to precisely transmit the content of message, emotional communication is intended to support and augment social relationship among people and to comfort the user to be happy. In this paper, we propose future communication services and core technologies which can estimate emotional desire of users and respond to the desire to be happy with connectedness and consolation from peoples. Firstly, we introduce emotion recognition techniques to estimate emotional desire of users. At second, the emotional responding services are categorized to four parts and the details are shown. Lastly we propose the process to implement emotional communication system and the main techniques to fulfill the system requirements for future smart-phone services.

A Implementation and Performance Analysis of Emotion Messenger Based on Dynamic Gesture Recognitions using WebCAM (웹캠을 이용한 동적 제스쳐 인식 기반의 감성 메신저 구현 및 성능 분석)

  • In this paper, we propose an emotion messenger which recognizes face or hand gestures of a user using a WebCAM, converts recognized emotions (joy, anger, grief, happiness) to flash-cones, and transmits them to the counterpart. This messenger consists of face recognition module, hand gesture recognition module, and messenger module. In the face recognition module, it converts each region of the eye and the mouth to a binary image and recognizes wink, kiss, and yawn according to shape change of the eye and the mouth. In hand gesture recognition module, it recognizes gawi-bawi-bo according to the number of fingers it has recognized. In messenger module, it converts wink, kiss, and yawn recognized by the face recognition module and gawi-bawi-bo recognized by the hand gesture recognition module to flash-cones and transmits them to the counterpart. Through simulation, we confirmed that CPU share ratio of the emotion messenger is minimized. Moreover, with respect to recognition ratio, we show that the hand gesture recognition module performs better than the face recognition module.

  • This paper proposes a personalized food recommendation system using user profiles auto-generated from Twitter. The user profiles are generated by extracting nouns from Twitter, and calculating emotional scores according to whether each noun is collocated with emotion words. Representative noun information for each food is constructed by analyzing web pages relevant to foods. Appropriate foods for users can be recommended by calculating similarities among the extracted resources. The proposed system has an advantage in that it can always recommend foods even if a user is a newcomer.

  • We developed the decision support system by using the fuzzy theory. This system designs harmonious color space according to the linguistic input. This input represents the atmosphere which the user want. If the linguistic input of adjective image scale is given in the developed system, the relation between the adjective and color is supposed as fuzzy relation. The color which match with the whole atmosphere of color space is selected. The search region of harmonious color decision is controlled by the knowledge on color harmony of Moon-Spencer. Harmonious color is selected by it.

  • The advent of Internet of Things(IoT) has increased the need for development of smart life based on Information and Communication Technology(ICT). By using IoT technology, we are able to control connected appliances using smart devices, such as smart phone. To support the smart life, there is a need to utilize emotion information for human behavior, based on both biorhythm and environment information. Research towards this goal suggests a smart lamp control system that has an effect on the human emotion. According to the PSI theory, the control system calculates the biorhythm with an algorithm that uses the human biorhythm, weather factors and walking amounts. The smart lamp works with the recommended color lights that can control the feelings and emotions of the user. Here, we will show the effect of physical and mental stability, health care, and accident prevention.

  • Psychology of color is a research field of psychology for studying human's behavior connected with color. Color carries symbolism and image while sharing psychological consensus with human. Each color has a respective image such as hope, passion, love, life, death, and so on. Peculiar stimuli by colors on these images have great influence on human's emotion and psychology. We therefore proposed a method for understanding human's state of emotion based on colors in this paper. In order to understand human's state of emotion, we analyzed color information used to model a room by a user and then described frequencies of each color as percent using fuzzy inference rules by membership values of fuzzy membership functions for colors used for modeling the room. When we applied the proposed color-based emotion analysis method to emotional state based on colors of Alschuler and Hattwick, we could see the proposed method is efficient.

  • The precent, many outdoor advertisements in the media has such experience. Looking at the trend of outdoor advertising media, visual stimuli, causing extreme curiosity, stimulate emotion, expression, such as illogical to consumers using a variety of unexpectedness "surprising expression" attempt to give a strong impression on consumers appears to can. In this study, outdoor advertising media, outdoor advertising is now through the case study to evaluate the characteristics of the media in the unexpectedness, in the process based on components derived extraordinariness configure Tetrad Map and extraordinariness factors of outdoor advertising media Analysis of the key elements to configure the user experience factor that has the purpose of identifying the characteristics extraordinariness. As a result of analysis of outdoor advertising media element to configure the Visual / Installation / Technology / Story of the most important factors acting Visual elements were found to be leveraging. Components, as well as factors was higher than the interest factor involved. So now with the development of outdoor advertising media, the unexpectedness expression appears in the flow, limited to the visual aspect of extraordinariness factors that could be seen being used. Characteristics of outdoor advertising media in the past did not deviate more as consumers look to stimulate the technical attributes of a visual form that could be seen to be extended.

  • As various convergency products have been actively developed, the study on user interface has been conducted a lot, and for more specific direction, users' experience-oriented user interface from user-oriented studies is recently developed. Such a tendency aiming to focus on product development to express users' emotion, the next step in the user-oriented development had difficulties in an objective approach, so the data based on previous users' experiences were presented as the basic data to establish user interface design process with grounds and design direction, and therefore it is available to show more specific and objective grounds. From this perspective, such psychological variables showing users' experiences like age and job are studied through surveys of users at the development of products, and products according to the variables are released. On the other hand, the products considering psychological difference distinguishing users' experiences as the cultural cap are not progressed yet. Despite the understanding of cultural difference, its decisive grounds are hard to distinguish like age, and job. Therefore, the cognitive concept about how to design menu information structure according to accident types that can be considered regarding user interface design among theoretical backgrounds about cultural difference. As the category according to the range of things among accident types, it is divided into analytical type and relational type to conduct a test on similarity and relations about the representative digital TV's menu information of the convergency product. As the result, analytical type and relational type showed difference and this study aims to use menu information concept considering this difference as explanatory variables of the users' experience-oriented development.

Analysis on User Sensitive Evaluations of Disposable and Reusable Sanitary Pads (일회용 및 다회용 생리대의 소비자 사용 평가)

  • Menstruation being an inevitable phenomenon for every women, reducing the discomfort during the menstruation period is one of the important issues for women's well-being. This study was conducted through user evaluations on disposable pads and reusable pads to comprehend the discomfort factors of the sanitary pads and to provide basic information for improvement. Negative symptoms of the reponses on menstruation outnumbered the positive aspects, and the results suggested that menstruation period was perceived as a painful experience to women. There were difference between the negative and positive responses regarding the designs, functions, fittings, wearing sensations. and disposabilities of disposable pads and reusable pads. While disposable pads had the strength of convenient use, it had the weakness of wearing sensation, and while reusable pads had the strength of wearing sensation, it had the weakness of inconvenient keeping. When designs reflecting these results are made, it is expected to bring a synergy effect by bringing both a more pleasant menstruation period for the consumers and eventual profit to the manufacturers.
