Congestion occurs whenever users interfere with each other, while competing for scarce resources. In a congested market, such as a telecommunication service market, users of telecommunication services incur costs in using the service in addition to the price. The user's own time costs involved in learning to use the service, waiting for the service, and making use of the service are typically greater than the price of telecommunication services. A market equilibrium analysis is performed in which a method for user demand aggregation is developed. The effects of price changes on user demands and market demands for congested services are examined. It is found that total market demands may increase as the price for less-congested services increase under certain demand conditions. This suggests that a nonuniform pricing scheme for a congested service may improve the utilization of the congested system. The sign of price cross-elasticity for congested services is show to vary with demand conditions. A possible complementary property of congested services is found and the implication of such a property is discussed. It is argued that such a complementary property may lead to a cross subsidy in a market with congestion. Finally, comparisons between uniform pricing and nonuniform pricing policies are made. A specific numerical example is given to show that a nonuniform pricing policy may be Pareto superior to a uniform pricing policy.

Traffic signal setting policies and traffic assignment procedures are mutually dependent. The combined signal control and traffic assignment problem deals with this interaction. With the total travel time minimization objective, gradient based local search methods are implemented. Deterministic user equilibrium is the selected user route choice rule, Webster's delay curve is the link performance function, and green time per cycle ratios are decision variables. Three implemented solution codes resulting in six variations include intersections operating under multiphase operation with overlapping traffic movements. For reference, the iterative approach is also coded and all codes are tested in four example networks at five demand levels. The results show the numerical gradient estimation procedure performs best although the simplified local searches show reducing the large network computational burden. Demand level as well as network size affects the relative performance of the local and iterative approaches. As demand level becomes higher, (1) in the small network, the local search tends to outperform the iterative search and (2) in the large network, vice versa.

사용자의 요구에 대한 명확한 요구분석은 성공적인 소프트웨어 개발의 필수 요건이다. 그리하여, 개발될 소프트웨어 구성에 큰 영향용 준다. 기존의 많은 소프트웨어들이 인터넷의 급격한 발전과 함께 웹 기반으로 변화 되었다. 웹 애플리케이션이 복잡해지고 사용자의 요구가 증가되면서 많은 비용과 인력이 개발에 소요되고 있다. 그러나 아직까지 웹 애플리케이션에 대한 정확한 개발환경의 정의가 잘 되어있지 않다. 개발에 있어서도 사용자의 요구사항을 반영하지 못하여 사용자가 자유롭게 정보에 접근하는 기능의 설계가 어렵게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 소프트웨어 요구분석 프로세스를 수정하고, 요구사항을 분석하여 식별할 수 있는 방법을 제안하였다.

Recently, electric vehicles are gaining popularity among many domestic and foreign users due to their eco-friendly advantages of reducing fine dust and environmental greenhouse gases. As the demand and supply of electric vehicles increase, the demand for electric vehicle charging infrastructure is also growing together. Many users are experiencing inconvenience due to poor charging infrastructure, which makes them hesitant to buy electric vehicles. Research on the user experience of chargers in apartment complexes, a common residential type in Korea, is being conducted somewhat, but research on the design of electric vehicle charging devices in public places is insufficient. The purpose of this research is to identify user requirements and complaints based on the product design of the electric vehicle charger in public places and propose a new electric vehicle product design concept that meets the requirements. The research method understood the charging base and status of electric vehicles in public places through literature research and examined and analyzed the characteristics and problems of product design cases that improved the charging problem of electric vehicles recently released in the market. It is intended to identify and analyze the problems of the charging device product design through user interviews, a qualitative research method, and based on this, it is intended to propose a user-centered product design concept that improves major complaints.

사물 인터넷 기기가 일반화됨에 따라 사용자의 상황을 파악하고 다른 사용자에게 알림을 주어 위급 상황에 대처하기 위한 서비스가 증가하고 있다. 이와 같은 시스템은 대부분 기기의 값이 일정 기간 이상 변하지 않거나 이상치가 발견되면 이벤트로 판단하고 분석한다. 그러나 기기가 비활동 상태라면 상황을 파악하거나 다시 서비스를 제공할 수 없다. 이 때 만약 사용자의 요구를 파악하고 주변의 다른 기기들을 통해 서비스를 제공하거나 다른 사용자에게 상황 정보를 알린다면 적절한 조치를 취할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 사용자의 요구를 포함한 상황 인지 모델과 이를 반영한 기기 탐색 시스템을 제안한다. 시스템은 수집한 데이터를 기반으로 사용자의 상황과 요구를 분석한다. 만약 사용자 기기가 비활동 상태일 때는 다른 기기를 탐색함으로써 상황을 인지하고 나아가 사용자에게 다시 서비스를 제공할 수 있다. 제안하는 방법을 통해 사용자 중심의 서비스 제공하고 여러 응급 상황에서 필요한 요소들을 분석, 대처한다.

이 연구는 스마트 미터 최종 사용자 수요 데이터의 특성을 조사하여 개별 가정용 물 사용량을 분류하는 새로운 접근방식을 도입한다. 여기서는 잘 알려진 비지도 기계학습법 중 하나인 K-means 알고리즘을 적용하여 각 가구별 물 사용 분류를 수행한다. 최종 사용자 수요의 물 사용강도와 지속 시간은 물 수요 패턴이 유사한 가구를 결정하는 주요한 특징으로 사용된다. 그 결과 21가구가 13개의 군집으로 분류되었고 각 군집은 1가구, 2가구, 3가구 또는 5가구로 구성된다. 수집된 데이터 및 최종 사용자의 물 수요 패턴과 관련하여 여러 가구가 동일한 클러스터로 분류되는 이유를 본 논문에서 소개한다.

Present structure design has a problem arising from the fact that present apartment housing design doesn't satisfy user's diverse demand. An aim of this study on searching out the alternative to solve this problem. The results of study are as follows : 1) Methods of flexible structure are analyzed to reflect user's needs and practical example of those proposed. 2) To raise the flexibility of design reinforced concrete pannel wall system are selected. The basic types of T and II for the figures of pannel are adopted. As a result it brought so much open space not having influenced on the load of construction that it enhances the flexibility of the space allocation. Also that made it easy to meet the user's demand for 8 kinds of plan types are easily designed according to the arrangement of the space and its scale. These results will become basic data of future unit plan design in apartment housing.

Since 1980, rapid social and economic development due to increased plant construction has led to a plant dormitory in a short period. In recent years, by the advent of the durability of dormitory remodeling is a critical need. However, user requirements due to the lack of owner's budget do not reflected. As a result, users have complained about the scope of construction, and construction stakeholder in accordance with the budget efficiency of the complaints have decreased. In this study the remodeling requirements in the planning stages is proposed for the remodeling process. In addition work type and element can select a range of construction worksheet are proposal.

Designing emotion and product experience firstly require companies and individuals involved in NPD (New Product Development) to understand what user really want to receive from owning and using their product. Admitting this necessarily poses the following questions: Can a designer indeed plan for a particular emotion or experience? If yes, what factors must be devoted to designing the user's experience? How can the user's feelings and moods be measured when they use the product? The answer can be found in ethnographical design research.

This paper discusses the user interface for content selection with a video-on-demand system. We suggest two modes for the selection process: active and passive. This paper analyses various video intensive user interfaces using logs of user operation to understand how users behave in each mode.
