PURPOSE: The purpose of this study was to establish the reliability and validity of the Wheelchair User's Shoulder Pain Index (WUSPI), which was translated into Korean for long-term wheelchair users. This index measured 15 functional activities, including transfer, self-care, wheelchair mobility and general activities. METHODS: To assess test-retest reliability, 23 long-term wheelchair users completed this self-administered index twice within the same day. Reliability was determined by the intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC), and Cronbach's alpha was used to measure internal consistency. To examine concurrent validity, 21 long-term wheelchair users completed the questionnaire, and we examined the correlation between the index score and the shoulder range of motion measurements. RESULT: The results showed that the intraclass correlation for test-retest reliability of the total index score ranging from .88 to .99 was good to excellent. Additionally, Cronbach's alpha was .96. The internal consistency indicated excellent. Concurrent validity showed negative correlations of total index score to range of motion measurements of shoulder flexion (rho=-.58), extension (rho=-.09), abduction (rho=-.59), external rotation (rho=-.07) and internal rotation (rho=-.3), suggesting a relationship of total index score to loss of shoulder range of motion. CONCLUSION: The Korean WUSPI shows not only high reliability and internal consistency, but also concurrent validity with loss of shoulder flexion and abduction.

연구자들에게 지식을 습득하여 연구 활동에 도입하는데 걸리는 소요시간을 단축하는 것은 연구생산성 향상에 필수적인 요소라고 할 수 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 한민족과학기술자네트워크(KOSEN) 사용자들의 정보 이용 패턴을 군집화하고 그룹화 된 사용자들에게 맞는 개인화 추천서비스 알고리즘의 최적화 방안을 제안하는 것이다. 사용자들의 연구활동과 이용정보에 기반하여 적합한 서비스와 콘텐츠를 식별한 후 Spark 기반의 빅데이터 분석 기술을 적용하여 개인화 추천 알고리즘을 도출하였다. 개인화 추천 알고리즘은 사용자의 정보검색에 소요되는 시간을 절약하고 적합한 정보를 찾아내는데 도움을 줄 수 있다.

The purpose of this study is to determine whether the centralization of information technology activities and the organizational structures, especially the centralization of decision making and the complexity have any effects on the information systems performance. The strategic types, the formalization dimension of organizational structures, and the industrial characteristics, which might have impacts on the dependent variables were controlled. Information systems performance was measured by both user satisfaction and organizational performance. To achieve the research objective, a field study using the structured questionnaires was employed. Thirty large companies participated in this study. Multivariate regression analysis was used to analyze the data collected. Findings of this study are summarized as follows: The centralization of IT activities, the centralization of decision making, the complexity of organizational structure and the interaction effects among these independent variables all turned out to have statistically significant effects on the user satisfaction, while not on the organizational performance. The implication of these findings is that the IT structure must be determined in congruence with the organizational structures and vice versa. One weakness of this study is that the strategic type was not an independent variable but a controlled variable. Further study of using the strategic type as an independent variable with more sample corporations is to be encouraged.

본 연구는 원예치료 효과를 가상 공간에서 원예 활동을 통해 기대할 수 있음을 전제로 하여 선정된 8가지의 원예 게임을 Lazzro의 4가지 재미 요소 이론을 활용하여 힐링 게임의 특성을 분석하였다. 결과적으로, 원예 활동이 포함된 힐링 게임은 모두 'Serious Fun'과 'Easy Fun'을 중심으로 개발되었으며, 'Hard Fun'과 'People Fun' 요소도 적절하게 포함되어 있음을 발견하였다. 또한, 원예 활동이 실제 원예 활동과의 연계성이 높으면 원예치료 효과를 얻을 수 있는 게임들이 있음을 발견하였다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 향후 연구에서는 원예 힐링 게임을 디자인하고 그 효과를 검증하는 연구를 진행할 예정이다.

The main objective of this research is to find out whether there exist any user interface factors that influence service information management professionals(SIMP)'s business activities on the web. The result of this study shows that there exists a significant level of difference between two groups of office Professionals： SIMP and general office management professionals on user interface factors. We analyzed the past and current research results and focused on four major evaluation categories： (1) web design, (2) structure, (3) navigation, and (4) interaction and identified 26 evaluation items in those categories. The study has been initiated by an intuition that there might be a significant difference in sets of user interface factors that influence SIMP and general office professionals. From the list of Best 100 Web Sites the best 30 information-providing web sites and the best 30 service-providing web sites were carefully chosen by a panel of 10 members for each group. To evaluate 60 web sites, another panel was formed by 30 professionals from each group, and they conducted evaluation in their own work settings. Reliability analysis on user interface factors and T-test to find out any influencing factors on SIMP were performed. As a result of this study, we have recognized that clarity, formation, consciseness, economics, and robustness are the most influencing user interface factors for web designers to concern when they develop web sites for SIMP. The study result can be improved by enhancing reliability of choosing target web sites In investigate and panel members. Also, in the future study it is recommended to investigate influencing factors for office professionals in terms of. age, sex, experience, academic background, etc.

This study aims to develop a human activity recognition (HAR) system as a Deep-Learning (DL) classification model, distinguishing various human activities. We solely rely on the signals from a wristband accelerometer worn by a person for the user's convenience. 3-axis sequential acceleration signal data are gathered within a predefined time-window-slice, and they are used as input to the classification system. We are particularly interested in developing a Deep-Learning model that can outperform conventional machine learning classification performance. A total of 13 activities based on the laboratory experiments' data are used for the initial performance comparison. We have improved classification performance using the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) combined with an auto-encoder feature reduction and parameter tuning. With various publically available HAR datasets, we could also achieve significant improvement in HAR classification. Our CNN model is also compared against Recurrent-Neural-Network(RNN) with Long Short-Term Memory(LSTM) to demonstrate its superiority. Noticeably, our model could distinguish both general activities and near-identical activities such as sitting down on the chair and floor, with almost perfect classification accuracy.

This study attempts to provide the foundation that KINITI and industrial su n.0, pporting organizations can be strong information analysis centers if they fortify their information analysis activities. The following conclusions are resulted from the analysis in the state-of-the-art-report covered in national information flow system, service methods and their publications of the information analysis activities provided by the KINITI and industrial su n.0, pporting organizations. First, the KINITI and industrial su n.0, pporting organizations have not be acquiring enough information materials. The services for bibliographic information should guarantee the uses of original documents. Second, the number of organizations providing on-line information services has been increasing, but the provided materials are not sufficiently suited for user's requests. Third, the speedy information provision and efficient information dissemination for the end users in the long distance may be possible through on-line service, but it requires information analysis procedure to select the necessary information in our industrial environment. Forth, the information activities provided by the libraries of industrial su n.0, pporting organizations should be fortified.

The base of leisure air activities are consistently expanding and its demand is expected to increase attributed to GDP growth and people's interest in its activity. Utilizing Visual Flight Rule, light sport aircrafts and ultra-light aircrafts are not under the effect of air traffic control center, which resulted in passenger injury due to emergency landing for adverse weather conditions and technical issues after pulling into mountain area, ocean and even urban area. Such events encouraged safety consciousness toward leisure aircraft activities and developing a measure to prevent a recurrence of the accident. This research focuses on suggesting compositive system for preventive safety management system by providing user based Flight information service and operating effective system, necessary for leisure aircraft activities.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of community-based rehabilitation (CBR) program on activities of daily livings (ADLs), quality of life and assistive technology satisfaction for disabled adults in South Korea. Fourteen community-dwelling subjects were participated in a home-based rehabilitation program which performed once a month for 2 months. The outcome measures included Modified Barthel Index (MBI) for assessing ADLs, EuroQol five-dimensions questionnaire (EQ-5D) for quality of life (QoL) and Quebec User Evaluation of Satisfaction with assistive Technology 2.0 (QUEST 2.0) for assistive technology. Significant improvements in ADLs, quality of life and assistive technology satisfaction were observed after the program. This study indicated that community-based rehabilitation program is an effective method for improving ADLs, quality of life and assistive technology satisfaction for adults with disabilities.
