Recently, the biggest interest in education, education using ICT(Information and Communication Technology) is being emphasized excessively and only the practical side is being embossed on the research about it, so it is causing worry that it is inclined to technical use. In this study, we tried to prepare the strategy for efficient use of ICT in search of theoretical level on use of ICT as an alternative plan for these problems. First, we defined the concept of efficient use of ICT and fixed high thinking of human as basic authority cited for deduction of strategy and analyzed Integrated Thinking Model of Iowa State Dept. of Education. We categorized synthetic thinking for efficient use of ICT through these works. In addition, we classified ICT for efficient use into software area, hardware area, and use skill area, and observed each concepts and interrelationship. And we argued 'Decision Authority of Relation between Thinking Area and ICT Area' to examine relation between synthetic thinking category and each area of ICT, and we established concretization of that, 'Analysis Matrix for Deduction of ICE-EUS'. We tried to guarantee the propriety of deduction process and the clearness of deduction result through this works. Through this process we finally deduct the ICT-EUS(Efficient-Use Strategy of ICT) about learning resources, learning tools, tutee, searching, communication, production and presentation of ICT area. ICT-EUS is expected to provide possibility of being able to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of achievement of learning goals through cognitive analysis about learning resources, tools and use skills beyond simple use of ICT.
According to the result of the online survey of SNS users, SNS users' use motivations consist of 'information', 'participation', and 'interaction'. SNS use motivations explain characteristics of an individual SNS very well. SNS users that aim to collect information use much more the SNS for communication like 'Twitter' and 'Me2day' than other SNS. SNS users that aim to participate in communication through SNS use much more 'Cyworld' that is joined by the most subscriber. And SNS users that aim to interact with other users use much more the SNS for network like 'Facebook' and 'Cyworld'. This tendency can also be seen in the use hours and access times of SNS by SNS use motivations. Meanwhile, the SNS Users that aim to collect information and interact with other users positively rate SNS messages. On the other hand, the SNS Users that aim to participate in communication through SNS negatively rate those. This confirms that SNS use motivations affect SNS users' recognition of SNS messages.
This paper considers option and non-use values of rail services. The total economic value of a given transport service can be classified into use, option and non-use values, other grouping rules can be applied though. The use value is the consumer's surplus from the actual rides of a specific mode. The option value, on the other hand, can be defined as a traveler's willingness to pay for reserving a travel mode, which is not his or her main choice, as a standby alternative. Finally, the non-use value represents benefits that are not attributable to the actual use or option use, but to the vicarious, altruistic, functional and existing worth of a transport service. A stated preference survey based on a double-bounded dichotomous choice is conducted. A survival model is applied to the data collected. Calculations of trip makers' willingness to pay for option and non-use values are based on the parameters of the estimated survival model. Some suggestions for transport appraisal are also presented.

Since the baseflow, which constitutes most of the river flow in the dry season, plays an important role in the solution of river runoff and drought, it is important to accurately evaluate the characteristics of the baseflow for river management. In this study, land use change was evaluated through time series data of land use, and then baseflow characteristics were analyzed by considering climate change and land use change using climate change scenarios. The results showed that the contribution of baseflow of scenarios considering both climate change and land use change was lower than that of scenarios considering only climate change for yearly and seasonal analysis. This implies that land use changes as well as climate changes affect base runoff. Thus, if we study the watershed in which the land use is occurring rapidly in the future, it is considered that the study should be carried out considering both land use change and climate change. The results of this study can be used as basic data for studying the baseflow characteristics in the Gapcheon watershed considering various land use changes and climate change in the future.
The goal of this study is to investigate the relationship between maternal rearing behavior characteristics and elementary school children's Internet use, and to utilize the results as the basic data to develop a program, in which parents learn how to educate their children for better use of the Internet. The subjects were 713 children whose grade are in fourth through sixth in an elementary school. Data were obtained with questionnaires. The instruments employed were Children's Internet Use and Addiction, and maternal rearing behavior characteristics-Rational Guidance, Affection, Authoritarian Control, Overprotection, Achievement Encouragement, and Active Involvement-Scales. The data were analyzed with the SPSS program. They were analyzed by Frequency, Percentage, ANOVA, Duncan's test, and Pearson correlation. The results of this study are as follows: First, 30.2% of the subjects has used Internet for more than three years. 55.6% of the subjects spend less than an hour per day in using the Internet. The two major types of Internet use were playing games(49.9%) and sending e-mails(25.4%). The main reason for playing Internet games was escape from stress(34.7%). 34.5% of the subjects also said that their parents usually encourage them to use the Internet. Second, maternal affection, authoritarian control, and active involvement were significantly different in the types of Internet use. Maternal authoritarian control and overprotection were significantly different in the reasons of doing Internet game. The rational guidance and active involvement of mothers were correlated negatively with children's Internet using time, but their authoritarian control and overprotection were correlated positively with children's Internet using time. Maternal overprotection was correlated positively with parents' encouragement level in the Internet use. Third, the rational guidance, affection, and active involvement of mothers were correlated negatively with children's Internet addiction. In the other hand, maternal authoritarian control and overprotection were correlated positively with children's Internet addiction. Lastly, children's Internet addiction was significantly different by the types of Internet Use and the reasons for doing internet game. Children's Internet using time was correlated positively with children's Internet addiction.

Background: The term 'hardcore' has been applied to use of smoking tobacco and generally referred to as the inability or unwillingness of regular smokers to quit. The component constructs of hardcore except nicotine dependence are product neutral. With the use of 'time to first chew' as a measure of nicotine dependence, hardcore definition can be extended to characterize smokeless tobacco users. Hardcore users respond less to tobacco cessation interventions, and are prone to tobacco induced diseases including cancer. Thus identifying hardcore users would help in estimate the burden of high risk population for tobacco induced diseases. Smokeless tobacco use is predominant and accounts for more than 50% of oral cancer in India. Hence, hardcore chewing information could be used for planning of tobacco and cancer control interventions. The objective of this study was to assess the prevalence and associated factors of hardcore smokeless tobacco use in India. Materials and Methods: Global Adult Tobacco Survey (GATS)-India 2010 data were analyzed to quantify hardcore smokeless tobacco use in India with following five criteria: (1) current daily smokeless tobacco use; (2) no quit attempt in the past 12 months of survey or last quit attempt of less than 24 hours duration; (3) no intention to quit in next 12 months or not interested in quitting; (4) time to first use of smokeless tobacco product within 30 minutes of waking up; and (5) knowledge of smokeless tobacco hazards. Results: The number of hardcore smokeless tobacco users among adult Indians is estimated to be 5% (39.5 million). This group comprises 23.2% of daily smokeless tobacco users. The population prevalence varied from 1.4-9.1% across different national regions of India. Logistic regression modeling indicated age, education and employment status to be the major predictors of hardcore smokeless tobacco use in India. Conclusions: The presence of a huge number (39.5 million) of hardcore smokeless tobacco users is a challenge to tobacco control and cancer prevention in India. There is an unmet need for a universal tobacco cessation programme and intensification of anti-tobacco education in communities.
Objectives : This study had been performed for Respondents who live in Daegu and Kyungbuk province Age group of 30 to 50 years old. Methods : The oral health state and oral heath care, dental treatments about the use of oral hygiene devices were obtained through self-administering questionnaires from 2 to 31, January, 2009. Respondents who experience implant recognize more about oral hygiene device and periodontal Tx, orthodontics problem, preservative treatment were next. 5. 60.0% of respondents who were educated tooth brushing method recognize it. Oral hygiene device was frequently used if tooth brushing time were increased. 26.4% of respondents who were changed their tooth brushing method used oral hygiene device. Conclusions : Their recognition level was practically low whose age is around 30 to 50. Their oral hygiene device use ratio is higher then others who were educated tooth brush method so that I think we need to recommend for use oral hygiene device and use method.
With the recent application of deep learning to Natural Language Processing (NLP), the performance of NLP has improved significantly and NLP is emerging as a core competency of organizations. However, when encountering NLP use cases that are sporadically reported through various online and offline channels, it is often difficult to come up with a big picture of how to understand and interpret them or how to connect them to business. This study presents a framework for systematically analyzing NLP use cases, considering the characteristics of NLP techniques applicable to almost all industries and business functions, environmental changes in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and the effectiveness of adopting NLP reflecting all business functional areas. Through solving research questions based on the framework, the usefulness of it is validated. First, by accumulating NLP use cases and pivoting them around the business function dimension, we derive how NLP techniques are used in each business functional area. Next, by synthesizing related surveys and reports to the accumulated use cases, we draw implications for each business function and major NLP techniques. This work promotes the creation of innovative business scenarios and provides multilateral implications for the adoption of NLP by systematically viewing NLP techniques, industries, and business functional areas. The use case analysis framework proposed in this study presents a new perspective for research on new technology use cases. It also helps explore strategies that can dramatically improve organizational performance through a holistic approach that encompasses all business functional areas.

This study investigates the effect of consumers' trust in communication with online fashion mall avatars on performance expectancy and re-use intention. For the empirical study, 207 adults were surveyed using a 5-point Likert scale, and the results were analyzed with SPSS 21.0. The analysis reveals the following results. First, the factor analysis of trust in communication with the avatar, performance expectancy, and re-use intention revealed cognitive and affective trust as subfactors of the trust in communication with the avatar, while purchase choice expectations and performance expectancy were identified as subfactors of performance expectancy for the avatar. A total of five factors, including re-use intention, were recognized. Second, the trust in communication with online fashion mall avatars significantly positively affected performance expectancy for the avatar. Among the subfactors, cognitive trust was determined to have a greater influence on purchase choice expectations than affective trust. Third, the performance expectancy for the online fashion mall avatar significantly positively affected re-use intention. Notably, the subfactor performance expectancy had a greater influence than purchase choice expectations. Finally, trust in communication with online fashion mall avatars significantly positively affected re-use intention. Accordingly, the sub-factor cognitive trust had a greater influence on re-use intention than affective trust. The results of this study are academically significant in that they empirically test the influence relationship between trust in communication, performance expectancy, and re-use intention, considering the personal characteristics of online fashion mall avatars on consumers using the Meta-UTAUT model in the fashion field.
This study aims to examine individual perceptions and lived experiences of the Net generation of student teachers and the previous generation of teachers about their technology use in education. The participants of this study include 106 pre-service teachers and 50 in-service teachers from one teacher education university in Korea. Employing a mixed methodology, we first empirically examined the participants' perceptions toward multiple variables related to technology use in education, namely (a) past ICT experiences in schools, (b) personal computer use, (c) constructivist belief, (d) computer efficacy, (e) attitude toward computer in education, and (f) prospective computer use. In addition, we conducted face-to-face interviews with selected participants for the in-depth investigation of their lived experiences about technology use, beliefs, and attitude. Results indicate that there are significant differences between in-service and pre-service teachers in their prior experiences with technology in schools. However, the pre-service and in-service teachers did not differ significantly in their beliefs, attitude and other technology-related variables, which may indicate the danger of generational determinism in the Net Generation debate. The analysis of interview narratives revealed two major themes about the interplay of one's agency and structural changes in the participants' lived experiences with technology use in education: (a) transition from negative past experiences to opportunities for positive computer use, and (b) attitudes formation and change through apprenticeship experiences and structural influences. In conclusion, this study suggests that the Net Generation debate should move beyond dichotomous or techno-centric thinking. There is a critical need to pay more attention to develop deeper understandings of the fundamental diversity existing within the generation itself. Implications for teacher education are also discussed.
