Global competition to increase production output and to improve quality is spurring manufacturing companies to use condition monitoring and fault diagnostic systems for predictive maintenance. As monitoring, testing, and measuring techniques develop, predictive control of components and complete systems have become more practical and affordable. In this article, we will consider the computer based data acquisition system for condition monitoring and the condition parameter analysis techniques for fault detection and diagnostics in the machinery and briefly discuss reliability prediction and the limit value determination in condition monitoring.

The objectives of this study are to illustrate an alternative housing type responding to the social requirements and customers' needs, to suggest the improvement plan for the related laws and regulations through survey of the actual condition for housing buildings such multi have been raised in classification due to that the existing law systems including the current use classification of residential buildings have been defined unclearly. Especially, various social problems have yielded in line with emergence of the housing type which is not legally classified as residential however used for the living purpose practically. Current zoning planning and related law system have rigidity. So, It is required to introduce a flexible classification system which protects the residential environment based on the housing purpose, function and habitability and provides correspondence between residence and ownership/management method. The legal classification system should be revised in a way that the housing use classification corresponds with the zoning system through breakdown of the use classification system

Research that establish new cadastral survey model that use GPS to introduce GPS observation technique in cadastral survey and research that develop connection technologies are gone abuzz. The purpose of this research is to keep in step in such trend and grasp present condition and performance of surveying connection to common use GPS data processing software, and analyze data processing algorithm, and develop suitable GPS data processing software in our real condition regarding GPS data processing and result of control point calculation. This research studies analysis common use software and error occurrence by data processing method that college and company have. Also, It analyzes algorithm that is applied to existing GPS data processing software. After that we study algorithm that is most suitable with cadastral survey and then develop cadastral survey calculation software for new cadastral control points

Objective: This study aimed to analyze the utilization of Oriental medical services and its determinants among the elderly. Method: Data from a Korean longitudinal study of aging was used. Regression analysis was used to find the determinants of the utilization of medical care. Results: People with low education and low income were more likely to use Oriental medical services. Determinants of using Oriental health service were sex, marriage, income, subjective health condition, activity restriction due to pain, and chronic disease. Among them, only subjective health condition and activity restriction due to pain were significant determinants of frequency of and expenditure on Oriental medical services. Especially, activity restriction due to pain was a significant factor in the use of Oriental medical services, but not in the use of Western medical services. Conclusion: Treatment related to pain was closely associated with Oriental medical services. These treatments need to be developed with scientific and clinical evidence.

The present study has been carried out to investigate the optimal condition on the blastogenesis of guinea pig lymphocytes. A microculture system in conjunction with a semiautomatic multiple sample harvester(SAMSH) was used to study the in vito optimal condition of guinea pig lymphocytes. Data were presented to show many variables that are Involved in studying the responses of guinea pig lymphocyte in a microculture system to the stimulation of Concanavalin A(Con A) and lipopolysaccharide (LPS). Analysis indicated that the conditions for optimal Con A as measured by incorporation of $^3H$-TdR include : (1) use of RPMI-1640 as culture medium, (2) use of $6{\mu}g$ of Con A, per culture, (3) use of $1{\times}10^6$ cells per culture. Conditions for optimal stimulation with LPS mitogen were similar to those used for Con A.

This study investigates the improvement in the theoretical success rate of the integer ambiguity resolution in GPS/GNSS carrier-phase positioning by using many visible satellites. It estimates the dependence of the rate on the baseline length in relative positioning under the condition of the use of double/triple-frequency navigation signals. The calculation results show that the use of 14 navigation satellites (i.e., seven GPS and seven Galileo ones) remarkably improves the success rate under the condition of very short baseline length, compared with the use of seven GPS ones. The numerical reliability of the calculated success rates is strictly tested by examining the tightness of the union and minimum-distance bounds to the rate. These bounds are also shown to be effective to investigate the realization of the high success rates.

In case of Korea, immovable property like location, land prise or investment value is more highly estimated than quality of life of residents for performance and value of apartment house, because of limited land area or high density of population. But the high level of life has recently caused the increasing demand in better life. As there is no cases to provide the house in bulk due to the housing market condition, it is necessary to evaluate performance and value of structure, disaster prevention safety, habitability, antiquated condition of building and equipment, maintenance condition and so on that has importantly influence on resident's life quality. So, this study aims to understand the actual condition of environmental performance for the present apartment by comparing the designated apartment, which is ready to have completed in Daegu, with the mixed use residential building, which gained the best grade for green building certification system. Also by analyzing and evaluating a right to enjoy sunshine, floor impact noise etc. and indoor air quality.

Objectives : Rapid aging is a big social issue and aging influences on the quality of life in elderly people. Oral health in elderly people related to the general health condition and it is necessary to improve the quality of life in the elderly people. The aim of the study is to investigate the influencing factors of oral health in the elderly people. Methods : Self-reported questionnaire included general characteristics, subjective health and oral condition and denture use. Subjects were 177 elderly people in Gumi, Korea. SAS (Ver.9.2) Program was used for the collected data to perform frequency analysis, cross tabulation, t-test and ANOVA. Results : Higher subjective oral health score were found in younger age, highly educated, high income, and married elderly people. Elderly people who were older and had low education and low income tended to use denture Conclusions : It is necessary to develop oral health care management and prevention program for the elderly people.

The change of the body condition score(BCS) and milk production graph as days in milk by lactation number show that the productivity of cow is on the increase as increase the lactation number, but the health condition is much worse because of the inappropriate nutrition intake. Metabolic profiles test(MPT) results indicate that the early-lactation for directly after the parturition to the peak production of milk during the total lactation period is the time of the more likely to be exposed to lack of energy, protein, minerals. To solve this problem, the early-lactation cows should be sufficiently supplied the required nutrients and should maximum intake the supplied nutrients not to be suddenly decline body weight and BCS from postparturition to the peak production of milk. To maximize the dry matter intake of a cow, there is have got to improve the management of body weight for heifer's skeletal development and in the dry period which is carelessly deal by mostly farms. This study presents that the use of measurement of body weight, graph of body condition score, distribution of milk production, metabolic profiles test in the monitoring for dairy herd health management is very valuable.

The use of structural wood based panels like plywood, OSB in many applications involves the use of nails, and data on the performance of panel-nail connection are needed for design and comparative purpose. This study was carried out to develop basic information on nail performance(withdrawal, embedding, nailhead push through) with water absorption in plywood and OSB. In withdrawal resistance test, initial stiffness of plywood performed better than OSB in 24hr soaked condition. The soaked condition reduced average nail withdrawal resistance value about 46% (12d mail), 53%(8d nail) in OSB, 17%(12d mail), 24%(8d mail) in plywood. The nail embedding strength of plywood also performed better than that of OSB and retention value(wet strength/dry strength) yielded similar in each nail types. The nail head push through capacity of OSB was higher than that of plywood in dry condition, but equal or lower in soaked condition. Therefore, critical consideration about structural panels is required in moist applications. The average values of nail withdrawal, nail embedding strength and nail head push through resistance of tested materials meet the minimum requirement of various specification and standards.
