The purpose of this paper is to review relationship between spatial characteristics of compact city and urban sustainabiliy from system dynamics perspective using causal loop analysis. It has been argued that spatial characteristics of compact city, high population density and mixed land use, are positively related to urban sustainability. However, research results that are not consistent with pros of compact city argument have been accumulated too. It is especially true when spatial characteristics of compact city are examined with regard to each dimension of sustainablility: economic, social, and environmental sustainability. Reviewing each dimension of sustainability with regard to spatial characteristics based on causal loop analysis, this paper provides more clear understanding on relationship between compact city and sustainability. Also this paper provides a base for system dynamics simulation for future study.

The purpose of this study is to examine the transforming characteristics of village at the urban fringe, which are influenced by the urbanization. Three areas in the urban fringe are selected for the case study. The changed conditions in the spatial structure of those areas are reviewed through following factors : street system, an entrance of village, a boundary of village, community facility, development density, housing type, building use. The transforming characteristics are analyzed as a result of the research. In result, the community facility, development density, housing type and building use are changed largly in the transforming characteristics.

Performance requirements for automatic transmission fluids have been changing to reflect the design changes of automatic transmission. The major purpose for these design changes is to improve fuel economy and drivability. The use of special base oils like API Group III and IV base oils has increased in order to formulate high performance ATF. In this study. the effect of base oils characteristics on ATF performance is investigated, mainly regarding differences in frictional characteristics with deterioration. Moreover, low-temperature fluidity. oxidation stability. and seal compatibility are also compared for four different ATFs. From the investigation, it was found that the use of Group III and IV base oils in ATF has several benefits in low temperature viscosity. oxidation stability and SAE No.2 friction characteristics.

This study intends to find the empirical relationship between the environmental and organizational characteristics and the strategic use of information systems(SUIS). Sixty-five firms in Korea are surveyed and analyzed to understand the impact of these characteristics on SUIS. As environmental characteristics, we select dynamism, hostility, and heterogeneity. As organizational characteristics, we select centralization, formalization, and IS maturity. The result of correlation analysis shows that formalization and information systems maturity are correlated significantly with SUIS. The result of regression analysis reveals that formalization is a major determinant to influence on SUIS of organization. Also, additional analysis shows that service industry have higher extent of SUIS than manufacturing industry.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of air traffic controller's leadership characteristics and hazardous attitudes on the team effectiveness. The effectiveness make use of team efficacy and team commitment. Leadership characteristics and hazardous attitudes make use of the contents of a CRM manual. The study showed following results. 1) Leadership characteristics has a positive influence on the team effectiveness. 2) Hazardous attitudes has a partially bad influence on the team effectiveness. This study was conducted under the auspice of civil and military ATC facilies and by participation of devoting ATC controller's.

본 연구는 스마트폰 맛집 앱에 대한 순수성, 유용성, 과장성, 동의성이 신뢰 및 지각된 위험과 최종적으로 이용의도에 미치는 영향관계를 검증하여 모바일 애플리케이션의 유용한 정보를 제시하고자 하였다. 편의표본추출법(convenience sampling)에 의해 스마트폰 맛집 앱 이용자 275명을 분석에 사용하였다. 분석결과, 첫째, 사용후기 특성 중 순수성 및 유용성과 동의성은 신뢰에 정(+)의 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타난 반면, 과장성은 신뢰에 부(-)의 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 사용후기 특성 중 순수성 및 유용성만이 지각된 위험에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 신뢰는 지각된 위험보다 이용의도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 신뢰와 지각된 위험 모두 스마트폰 맛집 앱 사용후기 특성 중 순수성 및 유용성, 사용후기 동의성과 이용의도 간에 매개역할을 하는 것으로 볼 수 있다.

PURPOSES : In this study, analyze the characteristics of IOC indicator 'threshold' which is needed when evaluating the traffic signal operation status with ESPRESSO in various grade road traffic environment of Seoul metropolitan city and derive suggested value to use in field practice. METHODS : Using the computerized database program (Postgresql), we extracted data with regional characteristics (Arterial, Collector road) and temporal characteristics (peak hour, non-peak hour). Analysis of variance and Duncan's validation were performed using statistical analysis program (SPSS) to confirm whether the extracted data contains statistical significance. RESULTS : The analysis period of the main and secondary arterial roads was confirmed to be suitable from 14 days to 60 days. For the arterial, it is suggested to use 20 km/h as the critical speed for PM peak hour and weekly non peak hour. It is suggested to use 25 km/h as the critical speed for AM peak hour and night non peak hour. As for the collector road, it is suggested to use 20 km/h as the critical speed for PM peak hour and weekly non peak hour. It is suggested to use 30 km/h as the critical speed for AM peak hour and night non peak hour. CONCLUSIONS : It is meaningful from a methodological point of view that it is possible to make a reasonable comparative analysis on the signal intersection pre-post analysis when the signal operation DB is renewed by breaking the existing traffic signal operation evaluation method.

Recently, due to the rapid development of IT (information technologies), a variety of attempts have been made to incorporate IT into other fields such as finance and manufacturing. Among them, a novel concept in the spotlight is FinTech, which is a combined word of finance and technology. FinTech is a line of business demonstrating an innovation development through IT in the financial service industry. One of the most popular types of FinTech is a third-party mobile payment service (MPS), the examples of which can be easily found in South Korea while the actual use of the service is relatively inactive. Therefore, the main purpose of this paper is to empirically investigate influencing factors of intention to use the third-party MPS. Based on individual characteristics and the task-technology fit model, the research model of the study is developed, with switching cost included as a moderating variable. The results of structural equation model testing with 316 potential users of Kakao Pay, one of the most popular business models of the third-party MPS, show that innate innovativeness, task characteristics, and technology characteristics are positively influencing task-technology fit, which in turn significantly affects intention to use the third-party MPS. The negative moderating role of switching cost is also found. These results could help managers develop better strategies to motivate potential users to participate in their services.

본 연구는 핀테크 사용자 및 시스템 특성이 지각된 인식과 지속사용의도에 미치는 영향을 주는 요인이 무엇인지를 살펴보았다. 자료수집은 광주광역시에 거주하고, 스마트폰 등을 사용하는 직장인 등을 대상으로 600명의 설문을 수행하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 사용자들은 핀테크 서비스에 대한 자기효능, 혁신성, 적합성은 핀테크 서비스의 지각된 인식과 사용의도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 시스템 특성은 핀테크 서비스의 지각된 인식 및 사용의도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 사용자 특성과 시스템 특성에서 위험성에 대한 가설은 기각되었는데, 개인정보 및 전자금융거래가 유출에 의한 금융사기 등의 피해사례가 급증함에 따라 개인정보유출 및 보안에 대한 우려를 가장 우선시하는 것으로 보인다. 따라서 핀테크 서비스를 확산시키기 위해서는 기업의 마케팅 전략으로 편리성과 사용의도를 저해하는 위험성 등의 불편사항을 제거해 줄 수 있는 핀테크 서비스 전략이 수립되면 효과적일 것이라고 사료된다.

최근 스마트폰과 각종 모바일 기기의 발달로 인해 SNS의 이용이 증가하고 있다. 개인의 욕구 표현과 관계형성에 있어 온라인상에서 SNS가 새로운 패러다임을 구축해 나가고 있다. 이와 함께 모바일 기기의 특성으로 인해 SNS 서비스 참여에 많은 영향을 미칠 것으로 예상된다. 이에 본 연구는 SNS의 서비스, 개인특성이 유용성과 이용용이성을 매개로 SNS 참여의도에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 살펴보았다. SNS 이용자를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였고 구조방정식을 통하여 자료를 분석하였다. 분석결과 본 연구는 SNS의 서비스, 개인특성이 유용성과 이용용이성을 매개로 참여의도에 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다.
