Because of the increase in information and knowledge sharing in various fields, technological development across various industries were growing energy demand. Advanced technologies was done to find alternative energy sources. Relevant studies are under way to promote efficiency of energy source. The problem of climate change is not the only reason why made electric cars. it is because of the efficiency of the utilization of alternative energy sources has improved. In this paper we focuses about usage of thermoelectric effect with electric cars.

Packet classification is a key technology of the Internet for routers to classify the arriving packets into different flows according to the predefined rulesets. Previous packet classification algorithms have mainly focused on search speed and memory usage, while overlooking update performance. In this paper, we propose PreCuts, which can drastically improve the update speed. According to the characteristics of IP field, we implement three heuristics to build a 3-layer decision tree. In the first layer, we group the rules with the same highest byte of source and destination IP addresses. For the second layer, we cluster the rules which share the same IP prefix length. Finally, we use the heuristic of information entropy-based bit partition to choose some specific bits of IP prefix to split the ruleset into subsets. The heuristics of PreCuts will not introduce rule duplication and incremental update will not reduce the time and space performance. Using ClassBench, it is shown that compared with BRPS and EffiCuts, the proposed algorithm not only improves the time and space performance, but also greatly increases the update speed.
As the number of multimedia applications increases, various protocols and architectures have been proposed to provide QoS(Quality of Service) guarantees in the Internet. Most of these techniques, though, bear inherent contradiction between the scalability and the capability of providing QoS guarantees. In this paper, we propose a protocol, named DQSP(Dynamic QoS Support Protocol), which provides the dynamic resource allocation and admission control for QoS guarantees in a scalable way. In DQSP, the core routers only maintain the per source-edge router resource allocation state information. Each of the source-edge routers maintains the usage information for the resources allocated to itself on each of the network links. Based on this information, the source edge routers perform admission control for the incoming flows. For the resource reservation and admission control, DQSP does not incur per flow signaling at the core network, and the amount of state information at the core routers depends on the scale of the topology instead of the number of user flows. Simulation results show that DQSP achieves efficient resource utilization without incurring the number of user flow related scalability problems as with IntServ, which is one of the representative architectures providing end-to-end QoS guarantees.

Nuclear Power Plants (NPP) are widely utilized around the globe from different base forms as it is one of the most dependable renewable resources that technological advancements have offered. However, different perceptions of the usage of NPPs emerged from different generations. The purpose of this study was to investigate the acceptance of nuclear energy as an alternative source of energy among Generation Z in the Philippines by utilizing an extended Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) approach. An online questionnaire which consisted of 31 items was distributed using a purposive sampling approach and 450 respondents of Generation Z voluntarily answered. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) showed that the knowledge regarding NPP had significant effects on risk perception and benefit perception which subsequently led to subjective norms. In addition, perceived behavioral control and subjective norms had significant effects on behavioral intention which led to nuclear acceptance. Interestingly, the respondents perceived the benefit of NPP as slightly higher than the perceived risk. With these, it was clear that the commissioning Nuclear Power Plant must consider as an alternative source of electric energy in the Philippines. Moreover, this study is one of the first studies that investigated the acceptance of NPP among Generation Z. Lastly, the model could be a basis to strengthen the acceptance strategy of opening NPP among Generation Z, particularly in developing countries.
This study was conducted to promote consumer interest in Geothermal Heat Pump (Ground Source Heat Pump, GSHP) and district heating and cooling (District Heating & Cooling, DHC) systems, which are competing with each other in the heating and cooling field. Considering not only the required cost data of energy itself, but also external influence factors, the optimal mix ratio of these two energy systems was studied as follows. The quantitative data of the two energy systems was entered into a database and the non-quantitative factors of external influence were applied in the form of coefficients. Considering both of these factors, the optimal mix ratio of GSHP and DHC systems and minimum Life Cycle Cost (LCC) were obtained using an algorithm model design. The Optimal Energy Mix of GSHP & DHC (OEMGD) algorithm was developed using a software program (Octave 4.0). The numerical result was able to reflect the variety of external influence factors through the OEMGD algorithm. The OEMGD model found that the DHC system is more economical than the GSHP system and was able to represent the optimal energy mix ratio and LCC of mixed energy systems according to changes in the external influences. The OEMGD algorithm could be of help to improve the consumers' experience and rationalize their energy usage.

This study was performed to develop the source profiles for fine particles ($PM_{2.5}$) emitted from the biomass burning. The multi-method research strategy included a usage of combustion devices such as field burning, fireplace, and residential wood burning to burn rice straw, fallen leaves, pine tree, and oak tree. The data were collected from multiple sources and measured water-soluble ions, elements, elemental carbon (EC), and organic carbon (OC). From this study, it turned out that OC (34~67%) and EC (1.2~39%) are the major components emitted from biomass burning. In the case of burning rice straw at field burning, OC (66.6%) was the most abundant species, followed by EC (4.3%), $Cl^-$ (3.6%), Cl (2.1%), and $SO^{2-}_4$(1.9%). Burning rice straw, fallen leaves, pine tree, and oak tree at fireplace, the amount of OC was 58.5%, 52.7%, 52.5%, and 61.2%, and that of EC was 1.2%, 18.4%, 36.5%, and 2.7%, respectively. The ratio of OC for the burning of pine tree and oak tree from the residential wood burning device was 56.9% and 34.3%, and that of EC was 25% and 38.6%, respectively. Applying the measured data with respect to the proportion of components emitted from biomass burning to reference model, it turned out that self-diagnosed result was appropriate level, and the result based on the model is in highly corresponding to actual timing of biomass burning.

This study presents a model and its implementation methodology assessing not only maturity but also applicability in order to increase the practical usage of open source software(OSS). Since this model measures applicability which can not be assessed by the previous models, it is able to support users in many ways when they introduce OSS for the first time, replace commercial software with OSS, and compare OSS with commercial software. For the purpose of design and implementation of this model, we presented a methodology with 7 phases and conducted a survey to evaluate the appropriateness and reliability of the model. In addition, we proved the practical usability of the model by providing a practical example assessing maturity and applicability of OSS in the area of the infra category on the basis of the methodology. In the future, not only general users but also officers in charge of informatization will be able to select optimal OSS by using this model for industrial application. Therefore, the result of this research is expected to greatly contribute to OSS promotion policy.

With the advance of IT technology, contents from digital multimedia devices and softwares are widely used and distributed. However, novice uses them for illegal purpose and hence there are needs for protecting contents and blocking illegal usage through multimedia forensics. In this paper, we present a forensic technique for identifying digital imaging source using sensor pattern noise. First, the way to acquire the sensor pattern noise which comes from the imperfection of photon detector against light is presented. Then, the way to identify the similarity of digital imaging sources is explained after estimating the sensor pattern noises from the reference images and the unknown image. For the performance analysis of the proposed technique, 10 devices including DSLR camera, compact camera, smartphone and camcorder are tested and quantitatively analyzed. Based on the results, the proposed technique can achieve the 99.6% identification accuracy.
Open Source Software Development (OSSD) differentiates itself from traditional closed software development in that it reveals its source codes online and allows anyone to participate in projects. Even though its success was in doubt, many of the open collaborative working models produced successful results. Academia started to get interested in how developers are willing to participate even when there are no extrinsic rewards for their efforts. Many studies tried to explain developers' motivations, and the pursuit of ideology, reputation, and altruism are found to be the answers. Those studies, however, focused mostly on how the first contribution is made out of a certain motivation. Nowadays, OSSD reaches at its maturity and 70% of professional developers have used or utilized open source software or code in their works. As the proportion of people experiencing OSS, the accounts from previous studies are expected to be weakened. Also, extant literature fails to explain how the motivation of participating in OSS evolves over time and experiences. Given that changing over time or over experiences is the natural in the perception of motivation, studies in an attempt to understand how the motivation changes or evolves are in need. In this study, we aimed to explain how the perception about OSS from past usage or related experiences leads to the intention to sustain OSS participations. By doing so, we try to bridge the gap between previous studies and the actual phenomenon. We argued that perceived instrumentality about OSS learned from past experiences will first affect the formation of organizational identity towards general OSS community. And once the organizational identity is formed, it will affect the one's following behaviors related to OSS development, most likely to sustain the favoring stance toward OSS community. Our research distinguishes itself from previous one in that it divides the paths from organizational identity formed to the intention to sustain the voluntary helping behaviors, by altruistic and conforming intentions. Drawing on this structural model, we could explain how organizational identity engages in forming the sustaining intention from past experiences, and that the intention to help at individual level and organizational level works at different level in OSS community. We grounded our arguments on Social identity theory and Organizational Citizenship theory. We examined our assumption by constructing a structural equation model (SEM) and had 88 developers to answer our online surveys. The result is analyzed by PLS (partial least square) method. Consequently, all paths but one in our model are supported, the one which assumed the association between perceived instrumentality and altruistic intention. Our results provide directions in designing online collaborative platforms where open access collaboration is meant to occur. Theoretically, our study suggests that organizational citizenship behavior can occur from organizational identity, even in bottom-up organizational settings. More specifically, we also argue to consider both organizational level and individual level of motivation in inducing sustained participations within the platforms. Our result can be interpreted to indicate the importance of forming organizational identity in sustaining the participatory behaviors. It is because there was no direct association between perceived instrumentality from past experiences and altruistic behavior, but the perception of organizational identity bridges the two constructs. This means that people with no organizational identity can sustain their participations through conforming intention from only the perception of instrumentality, but it needs little more than that for the people to feel the intention to directly help someone in the community-first to form the self-identity as a member of the given community.
This paper proposes an interference avoidance approach for Constraint-Based Routing (CBR) algorithm in the Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) network. The MPLS network itself has a capability of integrating among any layer-3 protocols and any layer-2 protocols of the OSI model. It is based on the label switching technology, which is fast and flexible switching technique using pre-defined Label Switching Paths (LSPs). The MPLS network is a solution for the Traffic Engineering(TE), Quality of Service (QoS), Virtual Private Network (VPN), and Constraint-Based Routing (CBR) issues. According to the MPLS CBR, routing performance requirements are capability for on-line routing, high network throughput, high network utilization, high network scalability, fast rerouting performance, low percentage of call-setup request blocking, and low calculation complexity. There are many previously proposed algorithms such as minimum hop (MH) algorithm, widest shortest path (WSP) algorithm, and minimum interference routing algorithm (MIRA). The MIRA algorithm is currently seemed to be the best solution for the MPLS routing problem in case of selecting a path with minimum interference level. It achieves lower call-setup request blocking, lower interference level, higher network utilization and higher network throughput. However, it suffers from routing calculation complexity which makes it difficult to real task implementation. In this paper, there are three objectives for routing algorithm design, which are minimizing interference levels with other source-destination node pairs, minimizing resource usage by selecting a minimum hop path first, and reducing calculation complexity. The proposed CBR algorithm is based on power factor calculation of total amount of possible path per link and the residual bandwidth in the network. A path with high power factor should be considered as minimum interference path and should be selected for path setup. With the proposed algorithm, all of the three objectives are attained and the approach of selection of a high power factor path could minimize interference level among all source-destination node pairs. The approach of selection of a shortest path from many equal power factor paths approach could minimize the usage of network resource. Then the network has higher resource reservation for future call-setup request. Moreover, the calculation of possible path per link (or interference level indicator) is run only whenever the network topology has been changed. Hence, this approach could reduce routing calculation complexity. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm has good performance over high network utilization, low call-setup blocking percentage and low routing computation complexity.
